His team has been struggling this year, and the weight of all those expectations on him and T1 are starting to show. However, there is no more clutch player in the big moments of League's history than Faker. He has nothing left to prove to the world, but he keeps being relevant and dragging whoever he is with up to the top. The day Faker puts down his keyboard and headset and walks away is going to be a monumental event, like the passing of an actual king.

Bit of a shame that it's a dual-purpose song then. In the League community, it's another reference to the GOAT Faker. It's actually kind of strange to see the LP and LoL fanbases interact. LP fans are disecting this song on its own merit. Many LoL fans I saw were not very hyped about this video because it featured LP too much and felt like just an LP-return song repurposed for the 2024 World Championship. Even featuring the band members more than the players who are referenced as being the kings who wear the heavy crown. Some speculate that LP agreed to this collab because they could tap into a good mix of a fanbase that both features young people and people who grew up with the OG Linkin Park (age-wise) and because they wanted the Imagine Dragon Treatmnent for the Arcane show, i.e. a cool animated video. That said, I watched so many years of World's songs and there were probably only 3 instances where the championship song was immediately received well. Most of the others were criticized for one reason or another. I like the song in itself and it fits the storyline. But I get League fans when they say that LP featured too heavily in the song for what should be a celebration of the professional players competing. A lot of the action in the video fell short, especially compared to last year.

Emily has a really great voice ;) In recent interview she said that when she first time listen to Hybrid Theory and Chester's voice, it inspired her to start singing and screaming. She's a perfect fit for LP and it's an amazing to see the band be happy and performing in front of their fans again after past 7 years. You can see it on videos from their actual tour :) Oh, and if you already in love with her voice, I reccomend you to listen her band Dead Sara... maybe watch some live performances if you want to see an unleashed craziness :D
