    Coffee filters are amazing for glass cleaning! I typically will do one final spritz of glass cleaner and wipe away with a coffee filter :) Helps with streaks and lint!!

    happy new year! ive actually been restyling some of my plants too and i absolutely LOVE it! its really made me fall on love with some of my more common anthurium like my crystalinum silver and mag hybrid. ironically its because of you and Charmaine hyping up veiny bois I've refound a love for more common anthurium again and that's honestly something id never thought would happen!

    It’s so funny to watch old videos then newer ones. Leaves don’t last nearly as long in newer vids 😂

    It feels great after cleaning, moving plants and removing plants that don’t give you anything back anymore.

    Having open shelving will look great on the space but I am sure it's gonna be an ugly and big task 😅 with the wire shelves, maybe you can put a strong fishing wire or twine at the each edge of the front of the shelf and tie it to the wire rack on the wall so it has more support? I don't know if that makes sense but I know we do not like buying new things around here 😂

    • @youdontevengrowhere
      @youdontevengrowhere  День тому

      Oh my gosh fishing wire is such a good idea!! I can’t believe that thought never crossed my mind, thank you Earl!

    I want to add tree fern fiber to my soiless substrate. I do t know how much to add. My mix is too airy and the water runs straight through, and over fills the saucers that are attached to the pots. I’m
    Not under watering, that’s not why it’s so dry.

    What do you clean a carpet with if you’re not using a vacuume?

      I’m just not really vacuuming anymore in the plant room (where I repot) which is not carpeted

    Would you recommend growing Anthuriums in exos? I've thought about getting one myself. They look nice, but you mentioned that you're thinking about selling them. Are they not worth it? Your videos on Anthurium care are great and a DIY pon video would be awesome!

    • @youdontevengrowhere
      @youdontevengrowhere  День тому +1

      The exos were nice for quite a long time and I still enjoy them which is why I’m hesitant to get rid of them - but as I’m getting more and more comfortable growing anthurium in ambient conditions, and as the plants are outgrowing enclosures, I do have a want to build a big wall to wall grow space where they currently are so I don’t have to worry about space as much but I’d have to budget for it 🥲

    Anthurium definitely do not like a lot of light I am finding its kind of confusing. 😅

    • @lisaanglim9588
      @lisaanglim9588 День тому

      I find that the seedlings all look alike, even the juvenile plants look a lot the same. I’m not into anthuriums either but I like Alice.

    I say “ NO “to fake plants. Get a shelf/basket. To put a smaller plant there.

    That rhyzome may be petrified. Just because it’s hard does t make it good. Give it six more months.

  • @lisaanglim9588
    @lisaanglim9588 День тому

    I vote no wood, it doesn’t add anything and makes it look less clean in there.
