It’s not TMNT Turtles in Time,but you and your bro. make it seem fun.
My gripe with the Switch version is that it runs at 30 fps when it could run at 60 fps. The game is not technically comlex and can run at 60fps on the current Switch, but i guess it will run that way on the Switch 2.

I don't get the uproar I've been seeing about this game. The publishers have stated that this was a port of the arcade game. I am glad they did because this could have been another game lost to time.

I played this arcade one time and beat it. Spent way too much money, but Shredder had to catch these hands, lol. Definitely gonna buy it for my game library. Love the run you and your bro did! Reminds me of me and my brother playing tmnt 2 arcade on nes. Good times, good fun!

I completed this in an arcade this past November and picked up the port. Havent played it yet but its a missed opportunity that this is only couch co-op and not online MP supported
Right!!! This is another fun one that would be fun to play with friends online. I mean, I do love the local co-op. Gaming at home with friends and family like we used to. But have the online co-op would be a nice option. 🤷🏾♀️💜

Ich finde das Spiel absolut großartig. Ich verstehe nicht, das so viele es schlecht reden.
Das war doch von Anfang an klar, dass das ein Arcade-Spiel ist. Die Entwickler haben sich sogar die Mühe gemacht und noch 3 weitere Welten hinzugefügt.
Die ursprüngliche Arcade-Automaten Version hatte nur 3 Welten. Diese Version hat sogar 6. Und trotzdem wissen das viele nicht zu schätzen.
Ich hab jedenfalls sehr viel Spaß mit dem Spiel.

Okay, SO . . . Me and my brother would go to the Pizza Hut around the corner back in the day when they still had arcade games inside by the entrance, and we'd either play Outrun or Turtles In Time. And since he's always been a racing game enthusiast, I would always pray he'd get on that while I played Turtles in Time by myself. But it never lasted, because after about 10 minutes into the game, here comes his BIG HEAD ass throwing his quarters in talking about "MOVE OVER!" Then, proceeds to take all the pizza powers, and hit all the interactive environment stuff like explosive barrels, fire hydrants, etc. And that isn't the only game he'd do that with. Whenever we'd play Contra on NES, he'd ALWAYS take the weapons before I could get a chance, and get me killed on purpose! I can't count on both hands back then how many controllers got broken from throwing them against the wall because of him. 😤

I think this is cool for the newer generation of TMNT fans but personally I like the original arcade game on the cowabunga collection much more

This reminds me when me and my lil sister beat tmnt: turtles in time on (SNES) years ago it's the bonding for me then beating the game but we still managed to whoop The Shredder 😁👍🏽

5:04 When I was a kid in junior high Street Fighter II Championship Edition was in the arcades and I was addicted and I was really good. My mom used to give me money for McDonald's. Cheeseburgers were 69¢ and Hamburgers were 59¢. She gave me like $5 a day. I didn't spend any of it on food most days, I changed it for quarters and spent hours after school sending the uninitiated home in a ball of shame.
One day I was in the arcade playing CE solo and was on Balrog... 3 figurs from finishing the game and a kid I never seen before walks into the arcade, gets quarters and walks over to me, hes like a foot taller than me, maybe mid teens and he watches me finish Balrog then drops a quarter into the slot. I was annoyed and planned to make short work of this usurper. I should point out, this was SF II that was modded, it was like a Game Genie version of Street Fighter, RYU and Ken could throw fireballs in the air, stay in the air and keep throwing them, do hurricane kicks across the whole screen, Chun-Li could do her fast kick in the air off the ground, Guile could jump into the air and while in the air do his flash kick without charging... It was nuts. Sagat could do a hundred tigers and those, Ryu and Kens fireballs would float slowly across the screen and move up and down as they approaced, needless to say there was a lot to think about if you were on the receiving end.
Game starts, I get this dude on the ground and then the cheese began, I backflipped to give myself space and started spamming endless fireballs... Once one got him out his block and stunned him, I immediately crossed the screen with a hurricane kick, caught him, dropped him, backflipped, several fireballs were still catching up from the intial barrage and caught him and dazed him. He got up, dizzy, leaped in heavy punch, fireball went through my body, hit him, forward sweep so he didn't fall, heavy fierce uppercut into dragon punch... I backed up, the last 2 slow moving fireballs from eariler finished him off. I remember all these details because that win changed everything.
I let my hands drift from the buttons and stick and saw a flash of light and felt a pain shoot through my face and i dropped to the ground to look up only to see this kid standing over me with his fists balled. He said a bunch of stuff while he stood over me, not a single word he said stuck with me, i dont remember anything except his face and everything that happened before I was hit. I laid there and I cried, I remember crying loudly and asking for my mom, I look back at my reaction and I'm disgusted with my response but that was what I did. I come from a pretty tough neighborhood and had a lot of big bros and OGs that looked out for me on my block but in that moment... 9 or 10 year old me simply wished I had bought a cheeseburger and some fries and went home to my mom. I wouldn't be in pain, I wouldn't feel alone and I wouldn't be crying on the floor in front of my favorite game 😞

I played the TMNT arcade game based on the 2012 show a few years ago. I saw the game up to Shredder's lair, but I don't remember this amusement part stage with the Creep and Rahzar being in it (though all were in the show). This stage must be exclusive to this port.
And the arcade game cost you _two dollars_ to start?!? IIRC, it "only" ever cost me one dollar to start and for each continue. Man, costs _are_ up in Cali. 😛
All-in-all, Wrath of the Mutants looks like a fun play. Glad your vid popped up for me so I could see it.

I apologize for being negative but constructive criticism. I can only make it to the 4:38 mark of this video.
I thought it would be interesting to watch this because I have never seen or heard of this game in my life. It took forever for you guys to actually start the game after my interest was peaked and then once the actual gameplay started, your little screen on the lower right was taking up so much real estate and then the camera kept switching to a full screen version of you guys every 5 seconds. That was infuriating for me as I could barely tell what was going on.
For TV show and movie reactions, I understand that is necessary but I don't think I've ever seen that on a gameplay session.
