Hi guys, Thank you for watching :) Sorry about the beginning of the video, when i started adding all the different colours for the galaxy it went a bit blurry as the colors were mixing together. I hope you will still enjoy watching the video tho :)
The video shows what's important, Jon. A little blurriness is no problem. I love your artistic vision and your talent for bringing it to life on a canvas!!! Your ROCK, my friend! Hugs ~Cheryl
Absolutely amazing work . I'm just starting out at spray paint art , had my first go on Saturday was great fun 😁 watching your videos is very relaxing and very helpful on the learning side of things . Cheers

Hi Rhu, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this comment and feedback i really appreciate it :) It's also nice to hear that i've inspired you and you have found a new hobby, Thank you for watching my video's and i hope you will enjoy your new hobby :)
Dear John I have a question for you do you use will regular spray cans work like Krylon or whatever are they special spray cans for that kind of art and the second question I have is how do you keep your tips clean or can you buy more tips or what's the process to keep your cans working I'm starting my first art project probably tomorrow I've been Gathering paint and paper I'm excited to see how gross it is the first time haha but I really like the way your thing is I don't care if you're art videos take a little time at least a show me how to do it step-by-step in a more simpler way could you please give me a response to the can thing thank you
Hi Rhu, The cans i use are from the Montana range, and cost the most in there range , i do also use Montana's cheaper paint as well they both work very well :) I use them cause i like them and i can buy them cheaper then i get other makes such as krylon etc where i live , i know in the USA its the other way round you can buy cans for 1 dollar but where i live the cheapest I've seen cans are just under £3, for the caps i clean the nozzle to get rid off the build up of paint and always have spare caps on hand cause a cap can block up at any point whether its clean or not.Hope this helps :)
John i did my first painting .it came out better than i thought..it is under rhu austin on my profile page..i had one severe issue i used rustoleom 2x clear over regular rustoleum gloss it lifted a lot...can you help me
Hi Rhu, Glad to hear you have done your first painting and it came out great :) Did you spray the clear coat straight after you finished your painting or did you let it dry before you did it? Also you may have been to close to the painting when spraying the clear coat and that may make it pool in places, Try spraying it further away from the painting and spray it on in a fine and even coat, Also don't forget that when clear coating your painting that all the paint will wet back up so the more you put on the wetter everything will get. Hope this helps :)

Great work again Jon. The mountains are the business. Have you got any advice on how to unblock caps if they get clogged up or should I be cleaning them evertime I use them?
Hi Scotty, Thank you so much for watching, and for taking the time to leave these kind words and this comment and feedback, I really appreciate it :) All i do with the caps i use is to scrap the paint from the nozzle before i start painting with them and sometimes i do that when i'm painting too, but apart from that if i get a clogged cap i just put a new cap on, and throw the old cap in a box with the rest. hope this helps :)
@@JonBarberArt cheers Jon. I thought that was the case so cheers for verifying it. Love your work and cheers for givin me lots of ideas to go and do want I njoi

Hi, it's awesome, really cool! Well done keep it up! I don’t get to draw Christmas trees, so that they would turn out so realistically. Can I ask you if it doesn’t make it difficult for you to make a certain tutorial video on how to draw Christmas trees and trees in general. Thanks!

Which caps do you use on your cans? I have Montana cans too, but the caps they come with have a ridiculous amount of overspray
