Final Thoughts From Night 1 of testing:
X-23 opens the door to ALOT of possibilities in destroy deck design.
It’ll take a lot longer then one night of testing for her to be fully appreciated but she is FAR from “mid” in my testing. ✌
Also I had about 4 brain cells in this vid with the late night release, so I should be able to have a much better video out on my thoughts, combos etc soon!
I saved up my spotlight caches for 2 weeks to make sure I had 4 just to get X-23. Pulled her on my last cache 😅

@18:40 While you did decide to FF through this round I think it was good for you to explain what happened there which led you to retreat. Learning gameplay decisions is great, but it’s also very important to convey “retreatable moments” to people also. Knowing when you should retreat is one of the biggest ways to improve your gameplay. A lot of people stay in games to “see if they have a chance” or out of pure stubbornness, and end up losing more cubes than they should.

Managed to save up 3 Caches for this week and got all the cards I wanted, pulled Silk, then the Nebula variant and then X23 from the last one. She's been great in a honest destroy deck for me. Knull + Zola in a 6 turn game feels so good!
Pulled silk variant and then x-23. Dunno how to feel about the variant cos I have the Venomized one though
I just did a big stream with almost this exact same list; just had Taskmaster instead of Yondu, and it felt really good. Such a breath of fresh air for destroy; X-23 is a lot of fun

I definitely recognize him as a flex card, but I’m a stan. You hit the right card and some people just retreat right there.
The insight and Death discount are enough for me as far as consistency.
This is why ive been liking mr negative with Knull, Zola and mystique in the deck :D

Got x 23 on my first spot light cache, loving her so far, made my destroy deck so good even though I don't have death or knull, turn 6 with 7 energy slamming down a big deadpool and America Chavez is still dope

I caught the X-23 hype from you, blowing 4 spotlight caches to get her, for now slotted her into some of my destroy decks instead of Nova, as it felt like the easiest cut. I've gotta say, she is a bit awkward to play with. Sample size is small so far, only managed to play 10-15 games, but in most of them I hardly made meaningful use of the +1 energy and she had a tendency to regenerate in lanes I'd rather not have her (for example destroying her and Bucky together, X-23 regenerating back in the same lane with the Winter Soldier, basically forcing me to use Venom there or losing the 6 power). I'll give some of the decks you show here a go, hopefully with more games under my belt I'll find more uses for her!
Killmonger is useful for destroying her when she is with something you maybe don't want to destroy. Also, you need to prioritize which turns to destroy her; she doesn't need to be destroyed every turn. It's best when you have a 6 cost card that would be way better to play on turn 5 instead of turn 5
Only had 2 caches, got unlucky and had nebula variant and legion dropped... So it is cosmo armor deck time lmao

Thanks Cozy I really like including Shung Chi for the mirror. Think he’s a lot more valuable than wolverine and have extra energy. Trying to squeeze daken forge in as well at the expense of yondu but not sure it’s optimal.
Opened 3 boxes and got everything but X23 😢 at least I can get another box at the end of this week but man, getting it in the last box feels frustrating

had 4 spotlights saved since I needed all 3 cards this week and even got Tribunal for my rando. Always fun to have new stuff to play around with even if most of it is old hat to some lol

Got everything I wanted this from spotlights this week. Pulled the silk variant that looks amazing and followed that up by getting x-23. Would've had an extra cash to pull but accidentally taped one last week and pulled a modok. Here's hoping 2 spotlights will be enough to get that Kitty Pryde variant and Silver Samurai, though personally I'm more so hoping for that Kitty Pryde
I hope they change it so you don’t accidentally open a cache. I just did the same thing last week. Ik was trying to slide the screen and somehow tapped on the cache, was saving for the Silver Samurai week, annnnd that sick Kitty Pride
@@pittsie6541 I did it again. Just upgraded sunspot and I got a spotlight but my brain went on auto pilot and clicked it. Now the only chance i got at getting Pryde and Silver Samurai is to buy a bundle and pray that the credits in said bundle is enough for a second spotlight. On the one hand I finally got Nebula in my collection, so theirs that, but on the other Ahhhhhhhhhhhh I did it again! Now the only question is wither to buy the chili bundle, beach bundle, or Armor cannonball bundle.

I bought the Captain Marvel Storm bundle (split that Anime CM to a sexy ink) so I could get the caches to open x23. Got her on the third cache. I couldn't justify spending 6k tokens on her since next month seems insane.
I also got an infinity ticket last night with exactly the "Death X" list you showed. It felt great except into shang chi without priority on 6 and obviously armor.

Are there any good X-23 decks withput Knull? I got her from a spotlight chache but was fishing for nebula.
A normal Shuri->Nimrod destroy deck with her slotted in as a 1 drop would be pretty good, if no Shuri in hand on T4, you could get Nimrod out on T4 (if killed X23 on T3) and have an entire extra turn to spread him around.

What is the utility of showing matches against opponents who aren't trying or are learning new decks?
I started crossing level 100 from last 2 seasons only.. Best part after that is I get to play casually.. I created a desk called 'Avengers and Guardians' which has 6 Avengers from first Avengers movie, and then all remaining from Guardians of the Galaxy.. Surprisingly I am winning 😅😅

I wouldn't be scared of destroy stuff feeling strong. At the end of the day its one of the more easy to hard counter archetypes. Not just armor/cosmo, its totally vulnerable to things like prof-x, power resetting from shadow king, the usual tech cards. A good destroy meta is great, because at its best its still vulnerable.

The servers kept being slow and unresponsive and it wouldn't open my caches for 10 min. I kept reseting and trying and the time it worked it was x-23 on the first go. Disappointing since I don't have silk but I want that kitty pride variant next week so I need to save
