The foto of your Aunt was AWESOME. Outstanding Capture, i just got into medium format with a HASSY 501cm and LOVE IT. I have been looking at large format now, lololol. I am thinking more along the lines of the PYRAMID cams. Nice video here.
First off - Boaz the Goat, looks like one serious goat not to be messed with...lol, second - I too picked up a 4x5 camera in December, a Horseman 45FA with a couple of lenses. Personally I think the 4x5 camera is way above my pay grade of just being a hobbyist/enthusiast. But I am looking forward to giving it a try in the spring. You seem to be getting more comfortable reaching out beyond your comfort zone and I think that is key to developing your craft. I loved the LF portraits and look forward to seeing where you go with you 4x5. A hell of a camera by the way, I too was eyeing the same Chamonix camera before buying the Horseman, but couldn't find a used one, but like everything in life - two 45F-2's popped up on ebay the week after I got delivery of the Horseman. Happy shooting Sathya, I look forward to your next video.
Thanks Clarhett, Boaz is certainly a character :) Glad you are trying out 4x5, I had Horseman in the mix before deciding to go with Chamonix. Happy shooting in the Spring! Regarding going out of my comfort zone, yes as a medium I am still intimidated by large format photography but the rewards are quite sweet. I am looking forward to shooting more with it and try my hands on colour LF portraits with developing too. Will keep everyone in the loop :) Thank you for watching.
