it's a bit weaker actually. The XBow is soooo much better now, it actually overshadows the Eruptor IMO.
I think it needs a bit of a damage buff so it can 1 shot Alpha commanders, otherwise its slow fire rate makes it a bit weak
@@GameFuMaster on paper yes, in gameplay i absolutely hate that thing, i hate the way it feels and i hate it bc of the drop, they changed that weapon so many times now i usually miss bc i aim too high with it

Eruptor felt so good! Not as crazy as launch Eruptor, but it just jumped back up to low S tier from high B tier in this patch.
I'll take it regardless for two reasons : now we can clear more efficiently compensating for the limited bullets... And two, the gun is no longer false advertising ( all thèse months it still had the shrapnels refered... Which pissed me off each Time )

Welcome back mate, hope you try out the AR-23C with that sweet 60 round drum mag, i wish it could have gotten a slight increase to damage from 65 to 75, i love the update so far though!

@@Background_Gaming. Yeah, wish the Lib Carbine could have gotten one too, but to be fair that plus 15 rounds per meg seems, well not really much of an upgrade, considering it chew up that 15 rounds in like 1 - 1 and a half seconds
@@k_balu-8104 lib carb needs to differentiate itself a bit more. IMO change it into a gun with double barrels and uses two magazines (like AF2011), so it has like double the magazine/ammo to justify its concept. Maybe its damage can be a bit lower to justify a high capacity and firerate.
@@GameFuMasterHonestly, having a 75 round mag (like in HD1), 30 more rounds per minute fire rate, and lastly 5 less damage compared to the standard liberator like before could be enough

the last bullet of the mag is in the chamber btw, so one bullet is kept when reloading. always reloading when you hsve one bullet left in the mag for the eruptor makes it reload faster because the first round of the new mag doesn’t need to be chambered (by pulling back the slide thing after inserting the mag)
Sounds like the Eruptor has just become the penultimate anti-medium primary! One/two-tapping alpha commanders is no joke
Update is crazy, all weapons back to what they were always destined to be. Liberty dispensing machines
i tried and test eruptor and he can kill every bug, around 6 shots to take down armor from this bigger charger with tentacles
you can even take down structure with it, it does everything
Pair it with the Stalwart, armor with peak physique, and a backpack of your choice and you can basicly do everything reliably
Fumbling that napalm barrage twice was hilarious. Good stuff
This update is so good that it's making an only bug player like me run bot missions too

This and the railgun were the first 2 weapons I tried when I logged on, and I am very satisfied. I love pairing the Eruptor with the Stalwart to make up for its short-range weakness. Currently my favorite combo in this new uptade 👌🔥.
Imo use dagger/other secondary as close range and instead of stalwart bring railgun
@pawelk411 That's definitely op but I take the Stalwart cuz I really like using it in general so it's more of a personal preference. I just take a 500k for heavies instead and it's very solid now with the recent buff it got.

Eruptor could damage the nests, but it took a few more shots to kill them. They die in 2 now. It's crazy. It's very fitting.
I've stopped using the Eruptor for so long i'm not used to it's power anymore. Now i'm conflicted between it and my baby, the autocanon.
Replace the ac for railgun for heavies
@@pawelk411 AC kills bile titans too now. Literally can just unload on em and they die. It's so good.
Imma find out how long it takes with the HMG and possibly use that instead.
I've been enjoying the HMG prior to this update.

@@pawelk411 I'm not gonna use the railgun and eruptor at the same time. It's why I don't want to use the AC and the Eruptor. They serve nearly the exact same purpose.

My only issue (keep on my probably my ONLY) is that bugs might just be a tiny bit too easy. But I feel like once we get to the gloom planets, we will encounter harder bugs that are worthy opponents for our newly buffed weaponry
What difficulty are you playing on?
@@sebastiananzures7398 been playing bugs on difficulty 9. One of these missions was a defense mission (which I find easy on bugs anyway), and I feel like I’d have to play more of 9 and 10, but the bugs do seem noticeably easier. But I also could just be going crazy. Worst case scenario, maybe give us some new slightly harder enemies. Still a banger patch and I am very very happy with what the devs are doing
@@epsilon1372 nah, it's actually more difficult, they changed the spawns or something, because you get an endless amount of hunters/leapers now, along Alpha commanders, so things are in your face 80% of the time.
@@GameFuMaster I’ve played more and while I found 7 to be a bit too easy, difficulty 9 and 10 is now a nice solid difficulty. I’ve changed my opinion a bit. The only thing is that I feel impalers specifically die a little too fast as I rarely see them even get their tentacles out. But that’s kinda it. I don’t need them to be impossible to kill or anything and they’re still fun
@@epsilon1372 I see them come out often enough, it just depends on the terrain, since it's easy to spot and kill them if they're out in the open (which is kind of the point)
But if they're hiding behind some rocks or whatever, then they'll stick around a bit

give the explosive crossbow a try, deals with literally everything now and can clear chaff without ANY trouble. 2 shots bile spewers as well, making it a REALLY good all-rounder on the bug and bot front as it can also damage vents of bot sub objectives and tower!

there's also a bad bug with the eruptor. sometimes when you strafe, aim and shoot, you blow up. won't happen every time but it hasn't happened when I stand still and aim.
Assuming most weapons are back it its glory days, the game is still challenging. What on superearth were they thinking to nerf any of weapons in the first place?
Am I mistaken, or did those commando rockets strip the bile titan legs?! Is said their armor dropped from 5 to 4, but there legs must've also dropped from 6 to 5. That means anti tank mines can damage them now🤔
My only complaint about the Eruptor, it doesn't 1Shot the Alpha Brood Commander. Bile Spewers also but nth 1shot them so. Railgun 1shots the Alpha, also Autocannon, I don't get it why Eruptor doesn't explode its head... But anw, Eruptor welcome back. Oh and don't forget Railgun is also back baby.
You think the Bushwhacker will be good to go with this? Or is the redeemer RPM just far better situation wise?
Bushwhacker is always better with this build. It's the only weapon that can fight stalkers at close range.

Funny now how everything got buffed stupidly, players are coming back to play again, when everything is easy again... Love this generation of players "its too difficult, not gonna play, lets complain about weapons that they are too weak" yea yea... (
I dont mean you specifically) but most of players i play with, random players, in every modern game, are constantly crying that everything is too difficult... Fckin 2000s players dude, annoying
