  • In this video, Maori woodcarver and musician Warren Warbrick demonstrates the use of a small nephrite adze, or toki, in shaping wood. Warren is from the Rangitane tribe, whose territory surrounds the city of Palmerston North, New Zealand.
    Warren's demonstrations were part of the ~Rock~Paper~Scissors stone adze making workshop at the Tiapapata Art Centre in Apia, Samoa, May 2024.
