Some considerations: 1. Brazil mentioned lol 2. I noticed that in the consecutive wins event, after getting 5 wins, you always face someone who has already gotten 5 wins. 3. Bro didn't send thanks to himself during the test.
Now that I have all 3 gold emblems I usually only battles people with the same 3 emblems (in the event mode or regular pvp mode), and it's similar level (35ish) almost all the time. It can be based on your total win numbers as well
I've started playing only gamba decks because I was getting tired of the game pretending that RNG doesn't decide 60% of the battles. With gamba decks it's much more obvious and less annoying.
I've been testing this back in November to get an high damage score with alakazam vs Misty. Unfortunately my smurf level was almost as high as my main, so I didn't encounter your problems. I thought there was a time rule to respect in between matches to avoid finding the same account multiple times, but I actually faced my smurf twice in a row too, thus there's no such thing in the code
I know doing this in "beginner" setting is ill advised, but now I'm wondering if "tcg player" has some match making system at place, does that mean "beginner" simply means unranked where you're, supposedly, going to meet low level players anyway?
This isn't confirmed, but based on my experience and some streamers I watch, there seems to be some sort of MMR for matchmaking during events, not sure about random matches. Someone on reddit claimed that they spoke with a developer and they said that in events, people got matched based on their win counts. Again, this isn't confirmed, but it seems reasonable to me, at least in event matches.
Is there some hidden ranking system in place too? I only face other gold emblem holders most of the time. But what I wonder is if I lose like 30 battles in a row if I will begin to face lower level accounts. Has anyone tested this?
My main was lv 29 with 190 wins with ~1500 cards, my alt is lv 22 with 8 wins with ~900 cards. Main has all emblems, alt has barely any, only the participation emblems. After that comment, I reversed the roles to get the damage dealt on my alt and rematched after a few attempts, still easy. The alt was in French (wanted to get Major Bob card from WP event) main is on English (already got the FR version of the card). Both times was actually in Beginner queue for me. I haven't tried TCG queue so idk if it's easier. Maybe it's the time too, I might have done it in less active time compared to the number of players.
Sounds like a case of IP number locking. 2:00 that’s my fancy term for the game, not allowing multiple players on the same IP address to connect to the server at the same time.
I know you like to find out all about this game and research it but you might wanna stop at this topic... seems pretty bannable once the devs discover people doing it on mass!
1:26 "I just couldn't find myself" same bro same 😔

Maybe he already got 5 tickets lol

Yeah I was able to match myself twice relatively soon. Approximately within 5 minutes. There may not be a time rule.
Yeah I did a rematch instantly after the first game ended
@@Bropeningsthere absolutely isn’t because at least twice I have faced the same opponent back to back in versus mode
@@Bropenings it worked for me. My two accounts are 9 levels apart (17 and 26). 45 wins and 131 wins each.

Good questions!
As much as wanted to see hitting max damage, I don't like how it's permanent and I won't see what my max was legit afterwards. But cool to know

Yes I have been losing a lot lately now that I've racked up wins

Thanks for updating with the information.
Languages may not make a difference to matching pool, more wondering if region does.

But my alts can match each other from the same IP
Are you brazilian?

Yeah true, if in the future the devs smells something fishy about your account, then it would be more likely to get punished
Stfu this shit cool asf. We get it, you know the rules. Just like everyone else
