I never would've thought of Gilbert being a boss and looking outside his house, I wouldn't expect it to be a mansion; but everyone who worked on this project turned out to have MAD skills. There is something about the lighting in PSX games that just is amazing to me, I don’t know what it is but I know why many horror series got their start in that era

@@HunterForHire422 DS3 did not get any official next gen improvement. Just a PS4 Pro patch a few years back. But nothing for PS5 or XSX (although DS3 still runs at 60 FPS through backwards compatibility, of course).
This game and your review have given me a new philosophy on how I should make my games (once I get around to it if ever). Every game dev should do what this creator did and make every area as if it were the whole experience to make the most out of it. Probably didn't say that right, but you probably understand where I going with it.
The winter lantern section genuinely had me on edge and shot me straight back to 2015 with all the fear of the unknown back in me I hope to god from puts Bloodborne on pc so we can get more fan content like this in the form of mods
If any of you are interested in hearing more music from the demake's main composer, check out The Noble Demon. She's damn good at making orchestral versions of game OSTs, especially Nintendo titles and LoZ in particular.
This looks super awesome actually, as somebody who wasn't a big fan of bloodborne (basically only liked the bosses and weapons) the idea of changing up its level design, progression and enemies sounds really appealing to me
The black void not allowing you to see far ahead is a very nice touch that even the original game would benefit from. Not seeing what's to come keeps you on the edge

I love that this is a thing. PS1 graphics are weirdly beautiful. I don't think it's just from nostalgia. I also was under the impression that it was a 1 for 1 remake, and I'm very happy that it's not. The changes seem fantastic. I don't love the idea of d pad only. Most of the games that only allow for d pad were really early releases and don't hold up well these days simply because of the control scheme. Would've been smarter to have this game allow for joystick use.

If you like Bloodborne you should give Darksiders 3 a shot (after playing the first two games of course). It’s a fair bit easier than Bloodborne or even your average Souls game but it’s still a lot of fun!

4k graphics are a DISTRACTION i honestly want 8 bit 2 color graphics with high imput lag so i can get lost in dark souls not this modern day bullshit that screams im playing a videogame and everything is fake
