Thanks for the ideas. Awakenings is already influencing other parts of the game and it might not be ftp friendly. In the tournament that is running now for soul stones, there are already 3 people over 7500 pts and the tourny has only been open a couple of hours. If whales like the feature the will spend, and that will put low spenders and ftp players at a disadvantage. Not happy.
Ive been running Sir Nic, Helicath, Geo in a 3 man team. Spd geo208, nic 207, helicath 206 and no masteries that boost turn meter or cooldowns. Geo opens with burn, sir nic opens with his unkillable, helicath delayed two turns in the ai before he uses his unkillable. The speeds being close together prevent the boss from getting a turn meter boost and jumping in between (boss gets lots of turns but it dont matter as long as your team stays together and don;t drop their unkillable/block buffs. The boss gets first turn but its only one turn and the team takes it easily and then the unkillable kicks in. Ive run it up to 12 so far, wont know on the last 3 levels till tomorrow …. full auto and a 4 minute run on 12. Yes i know this video is epics but this is what i ran lol
The idea of an unkillable team with Maneater actually sounds great as I have two which I don't really use anymore because I run Myth-Fu for Clan Boss now so they're free to be tuned to this boss, question would be if affinity friendly I guess.

Do you think you will be able to form a calc for this, maybe with an assumption of dec speed and/or not having it on (ie calcs TM boost per buff)? I had great fun just running a crazy buff team with Skullcrusher and just CA ing the twins to death.

Well, I have the Rearguard Sergeant. It's a start I guess, but my shard pulls just give me the same rares over and over again. How many Hill Nomads does a player need?
I haven't seen the highest stages yet, but for now I think that champions like Fenshi will see a value increase with this boss (mostly because of decrease speed and poisons) and overall a counterattack team with other champions who have A1 that lend good debuffs could be a nice idea. Another thing I noticed, from what I've seen in these videos, is that champions like Klodd and Kimi will be mandatory for high stages with that increase speed and increaae acc.
DWJ, I disagree with you on one point. You said (around 14:45) that you think the Twins is over tuned. To me, this feels just like Faction Wars, Doom Tower, and Hydra, and even OG clan boss... if 50% of the players (or more) can beat the hardest levels on day 1, then it's way too easy. It should take time for people to build up the right champs with the right gear to beat the hardest difficulties consistently. Yes, we all want to empower our champs but this is not meant to be something that happens fast... super end-game players can probably figure this out quickly but the average player (early, mid, or late game) will need to work on this slowly, just like we did for all, past, new content. I just think it's too early to say it's overtuned. Maybe if even the end game folks can't beat the highest stages after month, we can call it overtuned, but for now, I think we just all need to build up for it.
you make a good point - and I'm not against challenges at all! I think maybe the truth of it is it shouldn't be in dungeon format, but rather clan boss considering how important these improvements will be...and maybe thats where I feel like the over-tuning comes into play as these awakenings are important for everyone to farm. I've found that one geo is king, and two use a few buffs as possible just due to the turn meter increase the boss gets. I just thumped him with hard hitters and slowed the boss down so that when he hits his hp attack points geo can remand his hp burn. Am I missing somthing?
I was kinda thinking about unkillable teams before the update went alive but that celestial griffin passive and ice golem counterattack seems to block that idea sadge🥺🥺🥺
Yeah geo was key for me. I ran geo, stag, siphi, martyr, and melga. Got me through stage 12 pretty well but on stage 12 it was close. I also don't have the best gear lol.
lol Paragon can solo it. Not sure that is considered hard but it is slow. Geomancer with a lot of buffs can also do it and you do not need masteries on the buffers.
I think a good champion is Kurzad Deepheart, with him you have no problems with the affinity to apply the decrease speed debuff. My artifacts are average but i made him with as much defense and hp as i could, enough ACC and he has 115% crit rate but i want to build him with 130% in case the twins debuff it with 30% less crit rate. I say it being an FTP player and in mid game, I don't have good champions that apply decrease speed
i think this update is going to further expose the great hall system and how long it takes to level it up. I feel it's going to be difficult to get the stats you need without an advanced great hall
Every video to this point has ignored the affinity requirements and that from what I can tell makes the difference in the longer going fights. You come in with a bag of skittles and don't end the fight in 10 turns or less your getting smacked
um...maybe use some imagination? also, i don't use geo in my teams anymore and opt for poison. As always a dps can be swapped out for whomever and i've definitely shown more than one team.

Gonna be a real shame for f2p players if the Ukko fragment fusion demands players use awakening resources to get fragments, and folks have already blown all their gifted and newly earned resources...
Plarium have said that fusions wont have any awakening requirements, there will be no change to fusions. And you wont get CvC points from the new content yet.
i find it stupid how sometimes he doesn`t cleanse himself as his passive says and my debuffs stay 100% and in the next run he does. And i don`t understand why .. i`m using the same team why he does it on one but not on the next run
Can see myself not even clearing the first stage with my 2 year F2P account. Much like Hydra going to give this a big miss for now. 😏 Edit/Update - after watching JGigs do some first runs I will see what Stage 1 is like. Then we’ll see...

tbf, f2p has always been at a disadvantage - but as I said in another video, none of the current content has changed! So nobody NEEDS awakening...

yeah, klodd's a beast for this dungeon for sure, and yeah, i thought about fenshi actually. think he's useful here

Glad I did the Nari fusion. Decrease Accuracy & Decrease Resistance could make him really strong here...
Boragar the Elder’s is working well for me so far. I’m still building him but his group resist buff is great.

yeah, stages 14 and 15 are the ones where it gets super tough.
helicath could be very good up there,block damage,weaken,shield.
if we cant remove ironbrand, maybe we can reduce its turns.

no particular reason, found this team worked well. There's a bunch of options as far as approaches go, this was simply the one i ended up settling on.

ya it would be great if they changed it back to the old system you see in the loading picture. 700+ medals per upgrade is absolutely insane.

I made 1 to 11 with normal teams. I made lvl 12 with Paragon in poison set solo. Ridiculous.
