I have a 2007 Honda pilot EXL 4WD with the navigation system and it’s by far the best car I’ve ever owned for $3200 I’ve owned it for almost 4 years and I put about 68-69,000 miles on it and I got it when it had about 196,000 and it’s at 263,000 miles and I’ve only had to do brakes. Tires. Oil changes. Spark plugs. Replace gaskets on intake manifold, new battery, blower motor, a few other small things and it’s still going down the road strong with 0 issues!!

I've got a 2005. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it's by far my favorite car. Wasn't kept up before I got it and it still runs well anyway. I find it funny that you said it doesn't get you in the racing mood. I beat a guy in a little street race with my Pilot lol. She's my champ 🥺

Absolutely love my 08 pilot, I have the 4wd and man that thing can take a beating and it can handle off-road, mud and snow incredibly well I’ve climbed steep snow covered hills that F-150s couldn’t climb, it’s a beast

2005 is a pretty interesting year for the Pilot. For this model year, they changed the engine to a newer version of J35. I don’t know why they did that, considering they ended up changing the engine yet again for the 2006 Pilot. The 2006 engine change made sense considering that the Pilot got a refresh, but the 2005 engine change...the reason behind that is a mystery, which makes the 2005 interesting.
This model has 4WD not AWD btw. Great review, love the way that engine sounds. 109K miles is crazy low for this year. Whoever buys it will need to get the time belt changed ASAP.
