Good casting is all it is, it happens.I notice that because he has pronounced jawline and aquiline nose.He would be perfect casting as Cyclops whose eyes are always covered so his mouth and jaw will be the most expressive features while acting in X-men. I doubt this will happen but Ewan Mitchell looks the part and is a good actor not too famous ,although with HoTD he is pretty much but I mean in terms of portfolio. There were only a few glimpses of them together in the last season, so it's good to see they're going to play a more central role this time around. Those that have read the book know that their bond is integral to the story.

It definitely helps when you have an ENTIRE story to adapt. Not just the first few books. They’re definitely not going to let us down this time.
And GRRM has a huge part in it as well
To be fair there is supposed to be another Fire and Blood book coming out. But idk if the show will ever get that far, they have to get through the entire war first. It could easily be 5 season just based off what they have, and idk if the rest is compelling enough to make a tv show about.

If they are willing to adapt the acctual story. I liked season 1 a lot but it wasnt perfect. I mean, episode 9 was just not good but had the most detailed story in the source material. I hope they listened to the feedback for that episode. But I fear that the director of ep 5 and 9 will not have learnt her lesson

I read the book and already know the whole plot but this hype is killing me! That's the weapons of mass destruction in modern terms... we didn't evolve at all (ignoring this all being fantasy, just as a principle I mean).
Isn't only a mistake is much deeper than that, is years of this family don't trusting each other, alicent saw rhaenyra asking for kid aemond to be t0rtured, her trust for her went down. Like rhaenyra is a future woman (and daemon who killed a noble and nothing happened) with sm power and alicent deep down doesn't feel right anymore. Also rhaenyra and aegon never bonded. Viserys dream was just the perfect push for alicent to be real with herself, even her reaction to it was a little bit of relief. Maybe in the future she will textually say that.

I’m Team Black but Aegon’s still in my top 3 characters in the book and show, I find him so interesting and dynamic and Tom makes him so enjoyable and fun to watch, so excited to have him in a whole season and really hope he gets his flowers from this because he’s insanely talented, desperately hoping he and Matt Smith do press together cause they’ve been so complimentary in interviews and low key have the same personality, here’s to chaotic antiheroes they’re the best part of every fantasy series 🥂
