From your lips to God’s ears regarding Seattle/Yesavage.
Great stuff as always. Die hard baseball fans appreciate you!!!

This is my final mock draft before my final mock draft
I wouldn’t mind Benge at 23 for the dodgers. But the guy I want them to take a chance on is Theo Gillen if he’s available. Might be the best talent available and it is a position of need at SS. But as long as they take an OF or SS I’m happy. NO MORE PITCHERS IN THE FIRST ROUND. Take a chance on a HS position player.
As a Cubs fan you scared me with how long you left Christian Moore on the board because I thought you were going to leave him on the board for Milwaukee to select at 17
😂😂😂 I don’t think he makes it past MIA. Tbh at this point I’d be surprised if he makes it past CHC. I could definitely see the Cubs taking him.
Cubs are a joke
Love the Jurrangelo to my Atlanta Braves pick!
Finally, a mock draft the has the Orioles taking a pitcher. As an Orioles fan, I agree with your pick.
I was very close to going with Benge 😂
Great name for a Mets pick
Right???
The Mets won't waste a first-round pick on a utility man with a high chase-rate. He falls to the second round. The Mets will likely take a college outfielder in the first round.
Wake up chat, Brewers fans are getting ready to be mad at Robbie again!
I know nothing about Moore but I’m happy with the Twins taking a solid bat! Aaron Sabato PTSD does make me nervous though
I really hope my jays dont draft a catcher in the first round, im not high on either janek or moore and we need to hit on the first round this year, we havent had a great first round pick since Manoah
Robbie I am in hopes that Breslow & company will consider taking Cammaniti. He is not only a good pitcher but a great hitter too. Versatile as he plays the outfield and first base as well. Already throws several types of pitches with good command. I hope he is still on the board at the 12th pick to at least give Boston that option. I know he is prep school and young but its time for Boston to get more into pitching development. Free agents are expensive and trading is often difficult as trading partners often want to rob you blind when they know you need pitching. Thanks. Joe
This is now my official draft prep video! Awesome work

Again, can't wait to see what Bazzana can do in pro ball!
Dylan,James , Braden look scary in 5 years from now dangerous outfielder but that not
The case
How about Brody brecht to Milwaukee. Enough with the OF's😂😂😂
Blue Jays I feel need some corner pop more than a C - Tommy White is who I’d be targeting.
I think that could happen! I decided to go with more defensive value for that range.
Janek to Toronto makes sense in terms of needs, but I’d be disappointed with that pick. With the weak farm they could use almost any position, and in your draft they’d be passing on white, benge and brecht who I think are better prospects. I’m not sure any of the first round catchers will develop into high end prospects like benge or brecht
I think Benge is interesting. I know I’ll get hate for dropping him to 23 here. I can easily see him going somewhere 15-20.
@@rhyde he has a great mix of power and contact ability. I doubt he drops to Toronto, he seems like a safe pick with high upside
I would be super disappointed if the Jays took a catcher in round 1. Going into a likely rebuild I think drafting the best available makes more sense imo. I think either picking up a catching prospect in a deadline deal, or picking one in the later rounds would be the better move.
Griffin is the highest upside player in the entire draft. If he falls out of the top 10 that would be wild
Robbie so what your telling me is. LSU is winning the CWS next year.
Going to say this before this comment. Played with Will in louisiana. Hes going to lsu if he lands this low. and TOMMY WHITE is coming back if hes not in the first round top 15
Trey Yesavage @ 12 makes the most sense. Sox pitching in the farm is a barren wasteland
Please could someone tell me when is the draft(date).
July 14th 5:00 PM ET
I am so sick of Cleveland trying to save money. Why are they taking a second baseman when they have a platinum glove player there already. We need a big, hard hitting corner outfielder. They should be taking Charlie Condon. They won’t though. They will screw this up
Carson benge played at Oklahoma state
If I have to watch another electric pitching prospect go to Colorado I'll cry. With that being said Condon to Cincinnati would be so hype.
On the bright side Dollander is looking great so far
Burns and Hagen will be aces. They are arguably the safest picks in the draft. Think about this both of these guys had higher K’s per 9 than Paul skenes had last year.
Hagen Smith would be the worst case scenario for the Royals. The Royals need bats in the system not a reliever.
You don’t draft for need
@@rhyde I know, but I believe Rainer will be better than Smith.
Hagen smith is not a reliever
I disagree about #1. They don’t need a 2B. Gimenez is one of the best defensive 2B in all of baseball. They aren’t moving him to SS. If they were going to move him they would have done it when they traded Rosario. Betting it will be Wetherholt, as an under slot guy, or Condon. Condon can play a corner OF spot and Wetherholt can actually play SS.
That’s not how the mlb draft works
@@Cmass9 been watching baseball for over 30 years. That is how it works. If they are looking for someone under slot they’ll take Wetherholt. If not they’ll take the best player in the draft which is Condon. They aren’t going to take an advanced college player #1 who plays the same position as someone not only already on the roster but one of the best in mlb at his position.
@@Aggies_Uzumaki what you’re describing in Bazzana is not dissimilar to Wetherholt. You don’t draft based on positional need.
@@Cmass9 Wetherholt can play SS. Bazzana cant. It’s rare for a team drafting #1 to have everyday positions already set. Jram and Gimenez are among the best in baseball at their position. Normally I’d agree with you that positional need shouldn’t matter. This is different. Is Bazzana better than Wetherholt of course he is but as an advanced college player he’ll spend a year in the minors with nowhere to play. That’s why they’ll try and get a deal done with Condon, who can play a corner OF spot, and if not they’ll take someone under slot at a position of need that is only slightly below Bazzana. The Guardians are close to competing now with their pitching depth. They just need a couple more pieces to make it happen. That is why in this instance positional need does matter
I think you can move Gimenez to SS. He’s shown he can play well there, and was a SS coming up in the minors.
I expect the Cardinals to take Rainer if Smith or Burnes isn't available.
I could see that for sure
Cardinals imo will take Bryce Rainer at 7 if Smith and Burns are off the board as even though they have Winn.. Burleson will replace Goldie at first and Rainer could slide to 3rd and replace Arenado.. they also have Walker and Baker who could play first.. and if Rainer is that legit of an athlete he could man CF possibly one day.. and he’s a lefty!
Robbie, Robbie , Robbie ! What happened to the Redsox taking a pitcher in the first round of the draft???? With an organization that lacks pitching depth I sure hope Breslow overides and selects a pitcher instead of another hitter.
I’m starting to think with the way Breslow has acquired pitching like Criswell and Slaten, he got them on next to nothing deals. I’m wondering if they take that same strategy and draft pitching in the later rounds. I personally think guys like Smith or even Moore/Waldschmidt could have more upside than Yesavage.
@@rhyde I would love it Robbie if the redsox were to take Cammaniti. What a way to inject young quality pitching with high upside into their system. He is also versatile being able to play first base or the outfield and his hit tool is excellent.
@@rhyde Smith, Moore and Waldschmidt may have more upside than Yesavage but not as a pitcher and thats a problem.
I would be super disappointed if the jays took a catcher in the first round. Going into a likely rebuild I think drafting the best available makes way more sense for them. I’d much rather see them pick up a catching prospect or two in a deadline deal, or take one in one of the later rounds.
Remember, best available is subjective. The Blue Jays could value Janik or even Moore over other guys.
I hope the Mets take Brecht, Smith or Schmidt.
Bazzana doesn't really fit in Cleveland. Also, Colorado isn't a fit for him?
Explanation for no Tommy white???? Are you on drugs
Not much defensive value and I see him going in the competitive balance round as an overslot.
@@rhyde .971 fielding %, 3 TOTAL errors on the season…. Sure, the longevity of his MLB career as a fielder will soon be limited (think of young Pete Alonso/Vladdy Jr). He’ll most likely adopt a DH/1B type of role. Nevertheless, you can’t overlook what he did in the most competitive conference of D1 baseball (just my opinion).
Did I miss Ryan Sloan or do you have him falling to the 2nd round? I think he’s almost a lock for the 1st round
I think he’ll end up being a competitive balance pick, but if goes in the first round I’ll say the 20-30 range.
Cags 1st Overall #ForTheLand ⚾🪽🗿🪽💯🔥🔥
Will never understand people who mock hitters (let alone infielders) to the Redsox……Pitchers!!!!
They always take hitters 😂😂😂 I would love for them to get some pitching, but a part of me thinks they’ll use the later rounds to do it.
any shot the angels snag Burns or Hagen Smith?
Burns will be long gone. You might get lucky and be able to get Smith if the Royals decide to take a bat but they have been taking pitchers.
If they’re there, it would be hard to pass up. However, I still think the upside of Rainer might be too good.
Angels going Kurtz or jj if he’s there.
How is Bazzana more likely than Charlie Condon? Speed? Fielding? Patience?
More contact and speed + lower chase rate
@@rhyde And how more than Wetherholt?
@@mmarston332 more power and lower chase rate
@@Zach_82 And JJ is more injury prone?
@@mmarston332 correct
Cubs are taking Yesavage or Caminiti
There is no way Tommy tanks doesn’t go in the first 30 picks
I think he could go somewhere 25-30, but his defense might be too eh for a first round pick.
I also wonder if he ends up being a competitive balance pick, as some teams might shoot underslot for first round picks and use the savings to go overslot for him.
Chase rate is way too high doesn’t have a big league approach yet
Nice mock draft (btw it's pronounced "buzz-ON-uh")
Try again. How to you pronounce pizza? In Italian, double z makes a ‘ts sounds. Just because nobody knows how to say his last name including him doesn’t mean you’re right lol.
Ba-ts-ana
You’re welcome.
@@nerdpolice829 I'm just going based off of what he says 😉
I really hope the white sox hit on there first round pick
They definitely need it
@@rhyde 💪🏻🙌🏻
I think Jac is better for the Rockies cuz pitchers there never work well and he can hit too
Little birdy tells me the Rockies might not agree 👀🤫
Rip chase burns if he ends up in colorado
😩😩😩
I will be in immense pain if guardians take bazzana over condon. condon literally has 17 more home runs and has played 70 less games than bazzana which is an insane difference in power, and guards could use more power
Bazzana is the better hitter
@@Zach_82 condon has a higher batting average against better SEC pitching. Please explain
@@caitlynjenner6241 bazzann’s chase rate, whiff rate, in zone whiff rate are all better. He’s a more patient hitter which is very projectable to the big leagues
@@Zach_82 i really hope you are right cause i know the guards are going bazzana. I have a feeling we will regret it when condon doesnt slow down when he hits the mlb just like paul skenes. i mean the power isnt even comparable between the two
@@caitlynjenner6241 let’s not act like Travis didn’t hit 28 homers in 60 games
I'm not sure about Condon anymore. Sure he's Elite at hitting Fastballs but look at his numbers against breaking balls.
That’s just something they’ll have to work on, but the upside is real.
@rhyde I like Condon but Don't you Think that Caglione's power looks more legit and he's a lefty. I'm a white Sox Fan I'm torn because all they do is draft 1st baseman and non of them are any good Burger sheets Vaughn all suck. I'd love for them to keep Crochet Draft Hagen Smith and have a Top 3 starters of Crochet Noah Schultz and Hagen Smith that's 3 nasty lefties and having thrope at 4 would be crazy.
@@chrisgotski9837I personally prefer Cags over Condon, but Cags definitely has him beat with contact/chase rate
@rhyde Me too. Big Fan keep up the Great Bud!
@@chrisgotski9837 his average exit velo on breaking balls is still 95+
The Braves needs bats they have plenty of pitching
You don’t draft for need
@@rhyde That’s makes zero sense! Of course you draft for need
@@samright4661 prospects might take 4-5 years to make it the big leagues. Your roster will be completely different by then.
@@Zach_82 Not if you draft College players! Baseball has changed players are getting brought up faster than ever before! Lose that 1980s mindset the game has changed! Have you noticed players get up way faster or just sleeping?
@@Zach_82 The only Prospect that takes 4-5 years are the 16 year old Latin players keep up with the modern game
Cubs are a joke
The issue becomes Gimenez do we move him to short or trade him if Bazzana moves through the minors quickly
You just figure it out when you get there
True but losing that elite of a glove would be silly
@@TheHardy8778fair! I would just move to Gimenez to SS and figure it out with Rocchio
Gimenez is not going anywhere, we have enough middle infielders. Time to go for Power
@lawrencegoggans2x Bazzana has Power. Plus whose to say we don't go for that with either 36 or 48. I'd be more concerned with getting the infield secured because with our plethora of OF guys were fine for now. Could always trade for someone like Brent Rooker
