The flagstone and brick patio work is beyond words. It's your unique signature mark on your very own Hilltop Cottage. Kudos to you and your installation team. Excellent work!
Every episode is getting more and more exciting, Linda! This continuing story could fill an entire issue of Southern Living Magazine! BRAVO to you, Stewart, and all of your expert team of magicians!! 💚💚 Linda
I was so sad when you left your place, but now I can honestly say I am so excited to watch this transformation. Your style is completely different from mine, given I am zone 4 (3-5 depending on Mother Nature!!) and I so enjoy having a coffee & living vicariously through you. Wishing you good health in your new cottage house & garden.
Linda, you are creating a masterrpiece work of art in this new yard! How exciting to watch it develop! The gentlemen that are working are such a blessing and such hard workers! All so exciting to see...thankyou!
Oh, Linda, everything is looking soooo beautiful! I absolutely LOVE your new patio, fantastic style. Your storybook cottage is looking more and more adorable with every video. After enjoying each video, I can hardly wait for the next one. Fabulous design plans, love your style! Have been pondering about the shutters and new carriage lights. PLEASE KEEP THE SHUTTERS. They are like jewelry for the cute windows. As for the carriage lights, please use the ones you already purchased elsewhere. I would love to see taller, more slender lanterns in brass to match the hardware on the front door and other touches of brass. Whatever you decide will be great. ❤
I think it's great to show all the destruction and a more real timeline for things getting done. We see so many before and afters with none of the process in between. It's very inspiring and helpful as we work on our own projects trying not to expect instant gratification.
It’s good to hear that excitement in your voice. I know how hard it was to leave a home where so many memories were made, and so much blood, sweat, and tears were spent on that beautiful garden that you had created. But, now you have a new baby and the fun of watching this new life that you are bringing to the cottage is getting all of your fans inspired to get creative with our own spaces. The new memories have already begun !! Many Blessings ❤️❤️
Had a giggle at Linda planting before the patio stone section is finished I'm so much the same impatient to have things completed then once finished I'm always rearranging and changing things. Love those named bricks and the herringbone style so much character ❤️❤️❤️ Lisa Aussie girl
Also,a funny little thing: When I was mudlarking in London,I came across many bricks. Some were Tudor-era,late 1500’s. If I had known that you were moving,I would have brought one home, for you to have. I will be returning to London in September, with your permission,I can bring one back,as a little gem for your brick and pave stone spot.
I could watch masonry work being done aaalllll day long. I love stone , gravel, cement all of it! When it is all done, it makes everything look gorgeous. Have fun, Linda!!
"We are kicking arse!" Haha! It's amazing how fast you and your team are moving on this! Hi to you, Stuart, Javier, and Sergio! I'm really enjoying this fantastic new project and I check your channel daily for new videos.
Love your content Linda, Id rather watch this then watch "tv". Blessings on your new adventure, thanks for sharing all your inspiration! Watching from Ontario Canada.
The flagstone and brick were among my favorite things about your other garden (I had many!). I'm so glad to see that you have included it in this garden, as well! I'm enjoying the process!
It never really struck me as a cottage. It is your new home. But if that’s the vision more power to you. ☺️ And nothing wrong with dipping a little out of this bucket and a little bit of that bucket. I am eclectic in my gardening as well as my interior. 🤣 I love everything you have done. Thanks for taking us along. 😎✌🏻
Skin coating the porch!!!! Great idea, Linda. Whose idea was that....Bravo. Also, love the brick herringbone pattern. Perfect time of year to do all the grunt work. Not too hot.
Your backyard used to be a virtual retreat for me and so happy to see we will soon have one in the front yard of the lovely cottage as well! It’s coming along so beautifully together, Linda :) …
What a gorgeous transformation is taking place! I definitely share your excitement in seeing it all come together!! Please tell all the wonderful and talented stone and concrete workers how impressive their work is! I know you appreciate their skill in creating the yard of your dreams! It’s so exciting to see it coming together! 😊
Love your project.., your creativity… and your new cottage! Your generosity & kindness towards Stewart and your workers is inspiring and what the world needs more of! Your flower arrangements are beautiful as is your heart Buy Stewart some boots! 😉 he’s gonna ruin those white tennis shoes! Love what your doing! Thank you so much my friend!! You too Stewart!
I was hoping you would post a video today !!! Just love seeing the progress each time. Can't wait to see that big truck pull up one day with all those plants !!!
Linda. Just WOW! I love love love the combination of pavers and bricks, and the boxwoods make the perfect transition between the patio and porch. I’m absolutely giddy with excitement for you. Think I might have to use your idea for my potting cottage and greenhouse patio. Bravo.
How wonderful your new landscape is going to be! Such fun to watch the transformation from the beginning! I love how at the end of the video you called the house “Hill Cottage”! 😉 Thank you for sharing the journey.
So exciting! Linda, your energy and enthusiasm is boundless as is Stewart's. It looks like instead of planting on the original slope the ground was leveled for a seamless look. I wonder if you can address how this was done as slopes can be such a challenge for planting. Thank you, we learn so much from you, can't wait for the next installment. And yes, we love to know of the workers who make it all come together, thank you to the crew!
Linda, that side patio is so you, your signature! I must admit that when I found out that you were moving from your gorgeous home and the garden that I have been trying so hard to imitate, my heart dropped! I was thinking to myself, "Nooooo, she can't be moving," like I had any input at all!!! Now I see the potential for you to make this home all you! I LOVE everything you have done so far and everything you are planning for this home. Thank you so much for taking us along on this new journey of yours! Sandy from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 ♥️
I need to do a “home made” version of that cute cobblestone in my back yard where it just won’t drain. So it will be a area where a bench with pots can go. We will see how much I can Vaterize it myself 😊. Thank you for sharing any tips. I’m sure it’s really going to help when I’m ready to tackle this project.
WoW everything 🎉is coming together and looking great! I loved the eggshell tuters❤ only the galvanized ones are left .They will look great in my containers. Thanks again for taking us on this gardening journey.
Love the new patio - reminiscent of the last house but better! We’re buried under snow still but watching all your work is getting me so excited to get out in my yard…hopefully soon. Just ordered an egg trellis and your book. Thank you for your endless inspiration and sharing your enthusiasm! So happy for you.
You are one busy lady. It is fun to watch all of this come together. It must be extremely fun to get to do all of this at once. New beginnings indeed! 🥰
You are definitely not cutesy, I never thought you were. And yes your design style is more sophisticated and I’d say eclectic, which gives it that sophistication. Love all the progress.🌷🌸🌹🌷🌺
The new patio reminds me of your last patio. I thought you might do something totally different at this house. Love all of the progress. I can see how excited you are and looking forward to the arrival of the truckload of plants.
Hi Linda loving your new Cottage on the hill videos so looking forward to seen it in bloom say hi to Stuart wishing you all a happy St Patrick's day from the South East Coast of Ireland 🇮🇪 🇮🇪
Wow your sure adding to the property around the house. It will look great when done. Reminds me of when I moved in my home 5 yrs ago and adding 7 flower gardens around my home and painting everything outside and inside etc
Just wow at so many outdoor projects going on all at once but all the chaos at one time will be so worth it because by the time the weather warms up, you’ll get to plant, reposition & just play around with your new hard scape. I’d rather get it all done at once…then you can relax & do all the fun things.
Love love the patio. Totally going to steal the look, now I just have to figure out where. Agree with cuteness, so far you are threading the needle perfectly, Looking forward to the summer when things are really settling in.
You’re going to be ready for coffee mornings on the patio with your neighbors before no time! Love seeing your progress. Making me want to rip out my yard and start over. 😂
It is so satisfying and gratifying to see the big bones of this yard structure going into place. Can you imagine what it will look like mid-April!?! Blooms, boxwoods, and blossoms abound! Cheering you on, Linda. It’s brilliant. 😊 💜.
What a great plan! It is coming together beautifully. I can't believe it is moving so quickly. You are going to have a garden soon! Thanks for the updates; I really enjoy them, since we are in Iowa and can't get to it here yet.

This is so entertaining - so much going on quickly and you're sending out lots of video coverage. Thanks Linda! I bet your neighbours are really enjoying the real life edition. My borrowed idea to slow down the cuteness from Coco Channel .. just before you go out remove one accessory.
