Please do a show on theming Linux ( docky latte-dock etc) and LibreOffice ( icons, fonts, ribbon UI etc) as I constantly come across people who say Linux looks rubbish, I hate 'the' UI etc etc. They have no idea of the quality and depth and flexibility of the UI capability. Be great just to be able to point them to a good video from yourself. PS Google fonts too ! Thanks 😁😃🤗

As far as Windows Update goes just let us select a time for reboots in the initial setup with the option to delay a reboot for a day or two when rendering a long project. Easy peasy Bob's your Uncle problem solved. No AI needed, no annoying notifications, no nothing.
As far as using Libre Office Calc for an Excel class, some schools/professors will not allow that. The class is Excel, not Excel clones. For an entry level class Calc would probably suffice tho, but not in an Advanced class. Calc is a good product but it isn't even close to as powerful as Excel or Quadro Pro. That said, I once turned in an Excel assignment I did using the WordPerfect word processor's table and equation features back when I was in college. The professor said I turned in the best spreadsheet that year. He freaked out when I told him I used a word processor to do it and gave me extra credit for being able to pull it off. He had no idea that WordPerfect was so powerful. That is the main reason Windows is my daily driver as WP doesn't run well enough (if at all) in Linux and I refuse to give that up.
Just installed NEMS tonight on my pi4, is there any setup guides on how to monitor things such as network usage ect?

After the Region credentials , there are some Questions about systemlanguage. UTF8 an so on, is there any Manual for German Languages?

Hi Jonathan, NEMS 1.5 includes check_esxi_hardware, so that'd be the starting place. The release schedule is on the changelogs in the docs, and Patrons already have access to NEMS 1.5.

Hi Robbie, I have to disagree we should ban mining on the phone. I have been playing around with this and it dramatically cuts the life of the phone and before you say so what many phones these days are subsidized by the carriers and I would hate to see that go away because too many people put in replacement coins because they were not educated enough to understand that bit mining on a phone is just a dumb idea. This is just one reason not to allow it. If you really want to do it fine root your phone and understand what that means. For normal users it should never be allowed. Also they are not saying bitcoin mining is evil across the board Google and Apple are just trying to save the normal users from themselves, just like they do for malware and extremely poorly written programs. I for one applaud Google and Apple for doing this.
Plus imagine trying to monitor and enforce policies that would allow some mining in the Play store. Yeah, that's gonna happen correctly.
Can you use standard Nagios Core plugins with NEMS?
Yes, however it's not done as you would with a basic Nagios Core install: You can add them via git PR (add to nems-admin 050-nagios compiler + nems-scripts upgrade.sh, plus update the nems-migrator default config and database), or if you're not familiar with that, just put them in as a feature request in the community forum and it will be pushed out upon approval. Likely the "Feature Request" method would be preferred. Are there particular plugins you're looking for? NEMS Linux includes a plethora of the most popular.
There is one plugin in particular that I would like to use. It monitors HP Procurve switches and detects network loops. I have a building full of tech guys who are all heroes in their own mind. Yet, somehow, they always seem to create network loops between their IP phones and the data jacks in their cubicles. This plugin would allow me to quickly isolate and identify which switch contains the loop. It looks like the plugin does have a git repository.
