- Guys, I finally purchased a B5 Audi S4! I have always wanted one, and now I can finally say I own a Stage 3 car! This has tons of modifications already, but plenty of room left to grow! I am excited for what is to come of this monster!

Take a look at your cam chain tensioners. The plastic guides get worn and they grenade without warning.. nice car man!
Bought a Pearl White Sport trim with Panda interior about a month ago. Needs love, but like you said the price was right. Common issues tend to be Timing and Water Pump, Heater core, valve cover gaskets which you named, and pretty much all of the places where oil could leak. Check them and reseal everything to save the headaches. There's more but I digress. Great video!

Do all the Maintenance first..... scour the forums (audizine /audi world) get the engine to the point where you have peaceof mind... then i would worry about cosmetics. Whats the use of having a pretty car that Doesnt run. Im 6 months in on my Laser red B5 build... and its just now getting to the body shop. Read, Take your time, and have fun... the B5 community is VERY helpful.
