Thanks for this, you saved me some money.
Basically, any pen not custom designed for the 2024 one would not work, so if they claim it works for models before 2024 and the new ones it's just a blatant lie unless they updated the design completely. Basically, any listing older than a few months wouldn't work since it was made before this was even introduced.
I just need to take notes i don't draw or anything. Do you have any recommendations besides the apple pencil itself. I have the 2024 i pad air. Love the content keep it up!

@@levinso9025 your only choice is the 1st gen Apple Pencil since it is the only one with pressure sensitivity. If you do not care about pressure sensitivity then you can use any other pencil. Third party pencils should still be able to work with that iPad.

I was gonna buy an ipad this year and was thinking of going with an apple pencil alternative. But guess they are useless now! 😢

From what I can tell, if your iPad supports the newer Apple Pencil Pro, it probably has something bugging out the third party pencils.
If your iPad is older(between 2018- 2023), the third party pencils still works with them.

I brought one of these just to use it temporary as Apple Pencils are expensive here, I'm glad you are bringing awareness to this however and wasting money to show how bad these can be.

Is Apple Pencil pro any good than 2nd generation?
If ur asking to upgrade, dont unless you want to spend over 1.5k dollars. If u have the money, get it. Its great. Squeeze function is a life saver, and theres haptics too.
