Your the man just fixed it after the shop charged me $514.00 it acted up again next day they weren't too nice about it . I did what I know I should have done all along. And boom! Fixed! Thank you so much!
Thanks, I am having the same problem. Went out and checked and bingo. I have 2 broken and 3 spilt. Thank you, it saved me a motor and probably a switch or two. It only cost me some time to remove the door panel and troubleshooting the motor and switch.
so a update, i had the problem again even after repairing the wires the first time, had several broke all over,, and yes there is not alot of room at all to do this repair..trying to add more wire to connect them together seems to be the biggest problem...I called Ford on how they would fix it but of course never got a call back...had to cut the boot off because its just in the way ,, now have no boot but wrapped with electrical tape . crappy wires Ford put in here ..the wires should not be bending when opening and closing the door...

After 4 months of replacing parts, found 2 broken wires,,, FIXED! Amazing! Thank you so much!!!

I was on the verge of giving up. Went out side pulled back that sleeve and sure enough that wire was cut in two. Thanks man!

How did you do the repair? I have same issue but not enough wire to reconnect the wires
@@jimhayes5168 I added about a inch of wire on each side to make it to where I could connect the 2.
I opened the boot up on my wife's truck and I had at least 8 broken wires and some that were scraped. I couldn't believe it. 2007 F-150
