Good thing they brought the requirement of skill back for the last two entries.
Goldlack65 actually the re2 remake they made a $5 dlc to unlock all the infinite weapons without needing the S+ ranks on hardcore LOL easy money

Even newer RE games' unlocks are by skills. Capcom knows what players prefer and that's why they're my favorite studio.

Man I beat it more times than I can count, ran through with infinite weapons collecting ammo to do shotgun only, handgun only, tmp only and magnum only runs
But best run is always the initial one!

I'd like to note:
*You get the Punisher for free after shooting 10 Blue Medallions.
Shooting al 15 gives you the Punisher with a free Damage upgrade.

Here's a secret I found.....in the starting in the cabin, there are seven skulls, which means before Leon was sent, seven police officers coming to save Ashley were killed. They collect the skulls of police officers...
There's another so called "secret", after defeating del lago or something and you end up on the other side of the lake, you have to fight your way back to the the church, go all the way back to the docks/lake, there will be mutant dogs waiting there, nobody usually goes there because it's not needed to

One thing about the Special 2 costume, people seem to allways forget. You cannot buy the combat vest from the merchant if you use special 2. he simply wont have it stocked.
So Special 2 is a 30% damage increase on Leon, while Ashley becomes invulnerable. Still totally worth it.

Yes you can buy vest... You can't buy it if you play it on professional mode
Played it so many times, I basically know everything from the game of by heart. Best game in my life. And I think that professional is harder than the mercenaries
One thing to note about the P.R.L.412. It’s been nerfed up. On the PS2 version; it charges slightly slower and shoots only 1 laser straight. Whereas, the later versions, the charge is faster and shoots out multiple lasers at once in multiple directions.

I unlocked everything on the GameCube original RE4 and the Handcannon was an awesome weapon. I did get the PRL gun in the PS2 and PS3 versions but now I'm getting back into the PS4 version where I will do my professional run next and hopefully will attempt The Mercenaries 5 🌟 ranking.
Looking forward to Village next and hopefully an RE4 remake in the future.
I remember playing the Gamecube version back when I was a teenager in 2006 or maybe it was 2007, anyways I played many hours on it and loved the Chicago typewriter along with the handcannon and infinite rocket launcher as it made quick work of the chainsaw wielding villagers, El Gigante and the other bosses.
Anyways I'm currently playing the remastered PS4 version and I came by to your video to help me figure out how to unlock the weapons that I just mentioned. I badly miss not having them as they are very effective weapons against the villagers and later enemies.

Currently just completed my third playthrough after one regular and two pro. Rocking the infinite handcannon, chicago typewrite, PRL 412, and of course the striker for the speed glitch. So close to getting the infinite rocket launcher.

@@Goldlack65 Not all guys (some are 2, others 5 bullets!), & that wouldn't be enough not to make him the toughest, since he's the weakest against the Gatling & Steroid Chainsaw , bc his Shotgun needs close distance (dangerous), + it's not consistent at interrupting them, which always traps you & make you die eventually (especially with the Big Chainsaw)...
& Blacktail will take time to kill them, + needs good aiming if long distance...
While every other character has his/her strength;
Ada = sniper (powerful, perforating, fast, accurate, at every distance, better at interrupting bosses)
Krauser = LOL (don't need to explain)
Hunk = Neckbreak , while he's weak against bosses, we can use grenades, or use scales (Gatling, not Big Chainsaw, which is the hardest, but the TMP kills fast enough if you aim well on the long elevated plateform)
Wesker = LOL too... Main unexpected advantage is you get a lot of sniper ammo, unlike with Ada, which allows to use it only.
All that said, I made all Mercs 5* 4 Maps yesterday, starting with Leon, & managed to make decent scores (117k Village ; Castle is buggy af on my HD PC version, don't know why, so it's wasted, missing spawns, only the 1st Garrador, the other 2 are gone :O , & 70% ennemies gone too... WTF ; Military 75k, Waterworld 100k), better than with some others , so he's got potential, but still, generally harder to me . :)
But he killing easily.

For the handguns/pistols and aside from the Killer 7, I personally prefer the Blacktail or the Handgun over thr Punisher. They have a lot more firepower and are faster to reload.

I don’t know if It’s really a secret but in the room where there is a giant Salazar statue . There is a lock on the door at the end of the hallway . I don’t know why it took me so long long to learn this but you can actually snipe this lock of at the beginning before you start the sequence to activate the statue. I always thought that you had to complete the sequence before you could break the

I'll make a video on it also but if you want to maximize profit per playthrough, sell all guns and keep 150-200 handgun rounds, minimum, so that enemies always drop money instead of worthless rounds. Keep a Handcannon in the case and sell ammo that you pick up for it for up to 5000 a pack. Following these guidelines and selling all other items, including herbal mixtures, will ensure you profit over 2mil per new game, excluding treasure value.
fp 169 Also taking the Minethrower and emptying it helps, mines are 500 each and with an empty thrower you can get 10 before they stop dropping, however since they loot in 3 or 5 it's possible to exceed the 10.

the best RE ever and forever,from the begining,the story the wepon the atmosphere the music and sound and the chapter,wonderfull experience and feel, I enjoyed in every moment of the game first time on ps2,after i play on pc on ps4,but not same feel,i reemeber on ps2 i play4 days chapter 5-3 the cabin, i play 4 days i dont turn of playstation i go on work i come back and continues with game,i dont have ammo anymore,but i continues with the game, i beet the boss with knife after long time i was so excidet and happy,my heart beat like crazy.After i play re 5,6,7 but not even close feel for play,So i continues play re4 forever or untill they dont make similar or better RE.Thank you for video very good job.
Resident evil 4&7 are the only games which I feel a little scared bcuz of danger that could kill us the game although I completed the game almost 14 times

Yesterday i finished my first run on professional, died like 10 times in the water room but well It's ok finished with 97 deaths, now going to get 5 stars on mercenaries with all characters, good luck to me I guess

Charles Rod False. You can unlock everything here in the gamecube original release except for the PRL gun from beating it on Professional.
Charles Rod Sorry, you're correct, there's no Separate Ways and so there's also no special costume 2 but everything else you can get (besides the PRL of course)

there is no damage reduction on consoles either. MAYBE Gamecube, but highly doubting it on PS2 / first PC release, and certainly not on the Wii !

Why would you need the hand Canon if you have the Chicago typewriter The machine gun that fires infinite bullets
Well the Typewriter is cool if you pair it up with his outfit, the reloads, the hit and run tactics is all good.
But shell out the Pesetas and you can get a hand cannon with infinite ammo that can one shot almost anything.
Maybe just for the fun of having it, isn't it?!

Atom Storm getting 5 star on all maps with all characters is not too hard. As long as you memorize the maps and time bonus, even if you dont get high combos.
+re4gamez true once you've memorized the map and know what rout you are gonna take, getting 5 stars ain't that hard, when i did it i was surprised i could actually do it.

To unlock chicago typewriter you have to complete Assignment Ada, not separate ways or any mini story of separate ways, I mean ada is in both type of games but its not the same XD
Only in the GC version. In any other version you have to beat Separate Ways.
I beat this game on wii like 50 times plus I had all the unlocks and weapons but I just realized it's for ps4 so I'm gonna grind it all over again

Hmm quite a lot you passed up there buddy. Off the top of my head i'd have mentioned chickens laying eggs for you, the regenerator stun lock tactic, looking up ashleys skirt, gold behind the saddler paintings.

Late af to the party but on bro mode I always farm eggs in the beginning of the game to get 100k, it helps a ton
It's ideal to make a save just before those scenarios and making sure to save enough money for the rocket launcher or just approaching it with enough ammo. It's all about conservation and management of ammo and health items.
I knew it. My memory was incorrect about having unlocked the Hand cannon- I unlocked the PRL 412. Its the hand cannon that I really wanted but I couldn't 5 star every mercenaries map. IF I did unlock the hand canon I retired from the game afterwards cause I dont recall buying it and using it.

if ashley has an armor and enemies cant carry her or kill her but how can leon lift her and how is running or walking ig it is soooo heavy
Leon can only piggyback her when she's wearing armour. If she jumps down from an elevated position, Leon will catch and drop to one knee because of her weight.

Easiest way to get 5 star on every character and level is to save your grenades then somehow lure groups of enemies in one area then blow them up using the grenades you get lots of points for doing that or if you can keep your combo going by killing one enemy after another

I used to play this game on the xbox 360, one of my favourites in the series, im gonna buy this for the xbox one. Maybe get resident evil 5 and 6. Maybe not 6 lol
I have my Tommy gun on my normal run and rpg, but I restarted the cleared save and it still gave me everything once I beat the game. now I'm working on that professional run. I'm on chapter 4-1, and I'm right at the end.
I've been playing this game so many times I can't even count. After I beat it I play it over and over and over again to try to get a better percentage as far as not dying in a better percentage of my bullets hitting the zombies. I always try to find all the treasures also
I don't know if it's possible in the new releases because in ps4 doesn't work, but in older versions, when you finish the game for the first time, you can interact with the menu screen (the one with the village).

Fun tip on ada separate ways if you use a knife on saddler at hit him 8-10 times with it he will die instantly. (Ps: you dont have to go close to him and stab his eye
I am torn about this issue: back in the days videogames had cheat codes and similarily unlockable extras. Sure , you did not beat the game in the "regular" way, but as a kid, I viewed games as works of art and I wanted to se as much as possible within the game before returning it to the rental store. Now, as with Resident Evil 4, games reward you by "being good" at the game, but this is excrutiatingly time-consuming, that extra advantages and cheats are now DLC. Can't there be a middle ground somewhere?

I never unlocked seperate ways. I unlocked assignment Ada. I still need to unlock the second leon and Ashley outfit, that one shotgun that you can get with the glitch and the PRL 412
I am currently enjoying the project HD version. The fan made remaster is way better than the HD edition.

I recently restarted a new game on the RE4 nintendo gamecube version and I was wondering if I've unlocked all the weapons, and I found your videos ! The nintendo Gamecube version is not quite the same, you don't have "the seperate ways" and you can't unlocked the PRL412 because it doesn't exist, neither the gangsta costum. But I really liked your video ! very good concept ! Will you do the same videos for others Resident Evil like "Revelation 1", or "the umbrella chronicles", or "the darkside chronicles", or "Resident Evil : Deadly Silence" on nintendo DS ? There is also an old resident evil game on game boy color "Resident Evil Gaiden" very funny, you can play Barry and Leon during the same mission ! well, I'm a big fan of Resident Evil, very good job, keep going this way !!

How does one still have the motivation to unlock the hand cannon when the Chicago typewriter is already so powerful. Infinite ammo, firepower-10, rapid fire and all that good stuff. What else can you ask for?
Infinite Launcher kills it with 1 shot.
So if I 5 star the mercenaries mini game and load a clear save with the extras that I previously unlocked I just get the weapon and if I load another save I still find the hand cannon ?

U can also have Broken Butterfly for free in secret room. But u need Ashley to open the door. U have to go back with her through the labirynth
i dont remember this all to well but i think when you die a few times in the first area (before the typewriter) you get a max inventory and alot of weapons. i played on ps2.
Mini "secret" you can flip ammo in your inventory upside down too see the back of the ammo box
