Dude it's a running joke we have. When I joined we would get Battleship commanders who thought they had to tell everyone there jobs and I got sick of it so we would pass it off as a smartass comment. Unfortunately for newer players they aren't in On it. Most of the time we say it no, as in No crap or Duh.
I noticed that too. 5 destroyer game asking for intelligence. It's like you don't have any. Lol. Just do what destroyers are supposed to do and you'll get whatever you need.
From the other perspective I got 4 first spots in 4 losses...so at least I finished the last challenge easily.

I think this game should make a very large map like Ultimate Admiral and have mission to where a team of 10 has to take out convoys, or could have one where you have to take out the enemies security force that's protecting an island, then take out all the islands defense guns. Pretty much any new things when what we have now.
Unfortunately, if they did that they would have to restrict the age and types of ships. The reason being is if your a major power are you going to throw newer more powerful ships other than SSs at convoy duty excluding of course Germany?

Right there with you, somehow battle ships yesterday were shattering my plunging fire 18” AP rounds from my Ohio and I even incapacitated a gun on one without being awarded damage points, yesterday was abysmal for me

I’m more exigeant in my messages to bad dds. I want 3 jobs out of them ;)
“You have 3 jobs: capping, spotting, hunting enemy dds. Hiding at the back of an island: not in the list”.
Playing dd is the easiest. 3 jobs are clearly defined so just do that.
Bb’s role is more subject to interpretation and player’s habilities (I generally expect nothing of them other than just survive).

Two of the major problems with DD match making there should never be more than 3 per team and it way to often one team only gets torp boats while others get gun boats. Making one team map control and the other long range spamming torps. Also one team having one or more radar while the other having none.
The amount of games I play that end with 4 or 5 of my teammates going under 600xp is mind numbing. It's at least a third of my games. It's to a point where sometimes the game just isn't fun. Like, I don't have to win. I can enjoy a loss on a really close, well deserved game. But when you put up 2400 on a loss and #2 on your team is at 800 with the bottom 4 being 400 and below it just saps all the energy you have for the game immediately
That is exactly why I don’t run FFWF the amount of times that I needed a third I could never get a third. It’s so frustrating.
My question is and I am asking for a friend, does the WoW have same strict rules for DUI's as does Arizona (US), I need to know before I, I mean he, loads up the game. Thx
They need an algorithm that will put players like you and myself that understand the basic mechanics of the game in our own Lobby in which we can have good battles quality battles
I get the third fire. Even been saved from floods a few times. Sometimes I use flammable cannoneer, since the fight fire buff. The negative fire chance sometimes helps.
I get it on occasion but far too few compared to the amount of HE shot at me vs how quickly I get set on the double fire when on DC cooldown
It's like wargaming has you tagged or something. Lol. I do know when one of your viewers lights me on fire twice. They switch to AP.

I'm not the best player but i try and i try to learn and get better at the game your videos spartan and the videos from the other ccs help alot, and most of the game is common sense.
Spartan you can shoot the guns while their locked, helps in drive byes. And go to turret veiw
Your thoughts on the destroyers and stuff is the same as mine they should really reduce on how many destroyers are limited to 1 or 2on each team And all destroyer players Only try and go for damage and usually end up getting theirselves killed Or don't even end up spotting and just stay behind islands and try and wait to torp a battleship or cruiser
DDs leaving flank has been way too common lately. I had a Tashkent who left flank in the middle of fighting another DD. He left me (Bismarck) and an Iowa to deal with two BBs and a destroyer alone. Needless to say, it didn't end well. Their needs to be a DD tutorial 100%.
And to add insult to injury, these kind of games will always happen when you're already on a losing streak.
Brought this sh t up with you, it's just getting worse, I've been left alone with 8 reds soooooo many times, it's ridiculous...

Not necessarily, there are guys out there that can get it done by themselves, but they do sometimes need secondary help. I will admit a good deal of the time it is fun seeing other people succeed.
Spartan I absolutely agree with everything you said.
But please use your notoriety and campaign for a Ranked because nothing will change, many good players have abandoned the game and now bad players represent the majority on Warship and the pleasure of playing has become almost non-existent.
1st of all thx a lot to make this vid since yesterday I feel same experience like this for 5 straight match. And you know what... On match number 4, I've lost 3 teammates on destroyers for under 3 minutes. Imagine...😢😅
Learning WoWs (& gaming) in my 70's I've come to learn that strategy (team) usually trumps tactics. I have much to learn about spotting, being spotted, using islands for cover, etc. That said, we who can spend are sure to buy into ships, tiers, commanders, etc beyond our ability to apply them. btw, Expecting to just drag a team down is why I don't play more. 🤣

@@johncmitchell4941 youve already got a leg up on the competition by actively trying to improve. I recommend playing all classes and nations up to tier 5 first to really get a feel for the ships youre in and facing and that will give you a pretty good understanding when you face off against enemies.
But Spartan, you didn't explained what was the job for the BB player. He now thinks his job was to smoke EARLIER 😂😂😂
I love rushing in battle, destroyers are a perfect role for me but I am so obsessed with battleships my potential got low 😂 and I am a beginner and a mobile player 😂.

I’m a battleship main but my second most played ship type is destroyer because I wanted to understand how they operate and what their job should be and it’s helped me as a battleship main to understand what they should be doing to help me

I feel bad for you, that was ugly. Lately I have been getting Dev strikes in Shimanto because of destroyers doing exactly what your teammate did. Shimanto is my favorite ship right now that I have, by a wide margin. I already have 62 kills in it and my average number of planes shot down is about two per game.

Im sorry man. Lately I have been screwed over with the match making with imbeciles. I am a BB/CV main, and please dont hate on all carriers. Some of us knows how to play. Erlier I played 15 games and won only 3. When the carrier takes first place in a land slide loss and takes 2 kills, the only 2 kills with with 1200 base exp on a loss, its so infuriating 😣.

I have to admit I get a kick from your venting, can you drop a few more f bombs please 😂 it’s me most games. watching high tier destroyers sit in smoke trying torp drives me to insanity when I need them to spot for my cruiser and bb’s running to the other side of the map to be with other bb’s. I have learnt a lot from your videos and the incompetence I now notice is incomprehensible. People are still just playing for themselves. I thought I was a pretty ordinary player, but I’m an expert compared to these incomps.

weekends are worse.. the IQ on the internet drops by 70% I just had a game in a kansas were i took on a Destroyer, a Cruiser and a Carrier.. alone! because requesting support didnt sink in. everyone went on their merry way tunnel vision stupidity. I got the Destroyer and the Cruiser and lost half my health.. Karma was watching the idiots who didn't support me, die soon after

@@SpartanElite43 my scores suffer on weekends because theres a lot less teamwork on asia server. I also notice a difference between playing at 9pm compared to 6am.. the demographic of players even makes a huge difference to how stupid the games go.

Spartan how about the cruisers and BB that set in the back not coming up in support for DDs. I've played games where the cruisers and HIs start forward and turn around or shut their engines off and let me and other DDs take the brunt of the damage. My opinion is if you give the enemy too many targets they have to pick the most annoying target and kill it. Unfortunately WoW has decided I'm it. At times WoW has sent as many as seven ships after me, don't get me wrong. I duck up too. I still get locked in on firing my torps, and give up easy kills.
Because BB's should NEVER support DD's, that's a great way to be killed fast. I question how long you have played this game because the enemy doesn't pick off the most annoying ships, they go for the ships with the biggest health pool so they can damage farm. Believe it or not, most BB's are intended to sit back as artillery and shoot early game before moving up mid game- preferably after the enemy DD's are gone. That's how it works.
Well when battleships set there and don't help out the little buddies( they too get screwed). I can't count the number of battles where my two group mates will set there and they do nada. It's a group thing & before you go whining some of you go, but that guy left. That's because in the Navy they teach people about application of force sometimes you have to wrong foot your enemy. Which means you do have to go off on your own & do things that may get people to question your sanity. Example I sometimes can look at a map and figure out the enemies plan of attack just by seeing the map(it's easier versus the ai.). Example 2: In naval combat there is a thing called counter-force(it's where somebody has to stay at home when everybody else shifts there physical position to get into an attack position). Here the other day I was playing in a game where all but me and a BY went student body left. We had to act as the counter-force & everybody started shooting at us. Yes, someone had to hold the team's attention while the rest of my team got into position, as Spartan says, "they'd the breaks, kid". So, there are good DD captains, there are half-assed RD captains and then there are the rest. Also, I have problems with with people being vindictive or jealous. Look if I'm alive I try to help out, and that means sinking things. If you can't handle that then turn it off.

Early on most ships are very similar.
I always recommend start with the US tech tree because the ships are all pretty decent and easy to learn.
Play everything up to tier4 on each nation to give yourself a good idea of what you enjoy but also what you're up against when fighting each ship.

I guess I'm going to comment again. It's wargamings fault. I know WOT has been out longer and console and PC play together now. I feel like they did a better job tell you about amor and overmatch. Maybe not the best job, but it's there. Like the picture has the light tank leading the enemy to a hidden sniper. I don't see why they couldn't make a real tutorial. They did it before, now that I'm thinking about it. I. Tanks anyway. I feel like the players that played tanks do better. You don't want to be broadside in your tank either.
Wow its so weird seeing Legends, WOWS PC is just looks WAY better. the game could easily run 4k on a xbox S but the icons are massive.

This is alot of criticism for a dude with instant ability to switch shells and stays AP.... all players are brain dead to some degree. I totally 100% that it is crazy how people play. No idea how people get to tier 7-legend. Like they act like they are brand new to the game.
I dont have the ability to switch ammo types instantly plus there was really only one point in that match that HE would've been better than AP

The G J Merker is more of a small cruiser than DD. It's not a scout nor is it a torpedo boat and has shit agility. But whatever.

@@hunter7003 if Khaba is the only DD and her team is behind on points, yes, then she has to cap, for god's sake. Because then she's the best ship in the match to do so. You have to read and adapt to the situation. In the case of this Maerker, smokin up, getting shot + torpedoed was the opposite of reading and adapting to the situation. Everything else would have been better.

I like the content, but my younger brother, when I first showed him your content as he got into the game thought you came across badly, more hostile prick than someone who wants people to learn, take from that feedback what you want
I remember a video you did a few years ago, it was a community replay with someone in the odin, ot was less ranty and screaming at how bad players are, more measured advice, which massively helped me personally as I was very new to the game then.
Maybe it's just me but I prefer that approach, as it comes across less hostile or elitist, especially to inexperienced players wanting to learn
