Here's a look into a class at the Ann Lacy School of American Dance & Entertainment. Jazz choreography by Professor Kelli Stevens. Song by James TW.
You asked and you shall receive! Only a few years later... Watch one wide shot of this dance here: ua-cam.com/video/jGSrXE9N0Dc/v-deo.html
I don't see people of color black people. what is happening here???
@@Art_of Maybe they just like other sports more? I also don't see people with disabilities, transgender, people with Polynesian or Mongolian background and many others. But I'm sure, if they would like to take part in the class they would be welcomed. Don't make anything a race thing.
JUST P-E-R-F-E-C-T!
MOHYES😘😘😘😘😘
Thank you!
I love the sound of their feet idk why
Same💓🔥
Maya Funk tip toe and hold it 20 minutes!
Dabzilla 308 tip toe and hold for 20 minutes you will get it! I promise because I’m a dance too!
Maya Funk sameee

maybe one camera in the front in the future? it would give a better view/understanding of the dance. nonetheless, loved it!

Looks nice. Just wish I could actually see the routine.
ua-cam.com/video/jGSrXE9N0Dc/v-deo.html
Do you know how hard it is? Jeez
That was really beautiful, the expressions on everyone's faces I mean I could feel them feeling the movements and music. Great jazz choreo as well.
Can someone tell this camera man that when he films people dancing he has to film their body not their faces!!
But half the beauty is seeing the dancers' expressions and how they feel their moves. Expression is part of the presentation
@@happy_one_yearr Exactly! expressions make the difference!
ua-cam.com/video/jGSrXE9N0Dc/v-deo.html
a huge part of dance is your facial expressions. without their facial expressions it’d be boring.
I want to see the dance. If I see the whole person, then I can also see their facial expressions. Seeing pieces of a dance just doesn't do it for me.
It's so beautiful the way they show their emotions though the movement.
Nailed it. Beautiful.
Reasa Falgoust we couldn’t really see it clearly
Love it! Love the choreo, love the energy, well done!
Love this!!! Such beautiful dancers!
wow!!!!!!! This choreo is so amazing and emotional - I´m in love!!!!!!!!
I love this video so much! I now listen to the song sometimes on Spotify. This makes me so happy because center stage was my favorite movie and this reminds me of the style of dance in it (and the outfits). Thank you for bringing joy to my world
Thank YOU soo much for this! This is what I was looking for: expression, impulse and DANCE! Love this 💕
Beautiful!! Every expression touches my heart!

That was awesome. I LOVED the choreography. You all look gorgeous ♥️
Very cool everyone. Jazz sure has changed from when I was dancing professionally. It was more like Rhythm Nation style. Keep up the great work everyone. I love watching the youth of this generation. I miss dancing. keep posting and keep dancing.

wonderful choreo, great dancer!!! :-)
We lose details over these camera angles :/ Maybe a wider angle or a single view at the front would give a better look to the coreography.

Hello ! Your choreography is awesome 🤩 I really love it and want to see this video billion times ❤ Please, Tell me what kind (type) of choreography is it? Or is it an original improvisation ? I wish you good luck 🤞

Haha dude got lucky.
The guy was the best one....you could tell in the wide steady video. I actually cried a few tears watching him.
jesteście genialni
I always wanted to do ballet but I'm much more suited to jazz... excellent performance !
Wooow me encantó..... 🇦🇷💙😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
amazing
The evocative power of lyrical motion when unbridled. Sinuous, melodic, mystical! The divergent evolution of classical ballet in its multiplicity of dimensions can only serve it well as a high art. Dancers can really only perform the Lyrical Jazz Dance with the classical line just like Horton, Graham, Ailey, Cunningham, Luigi techniques. This reminded me of my choreography based on the Luigi soft jazz - elegant, supremely sublime. Here, perfect musicality lends complementarity to movement elasticity, driving the collective effort to a symphonic resolve. Bravissima!

Thank you for helping me with my dance homework

We often overlook the fact that dancing is an excellent form of expressing happiness. Let's give it another shot!
Oh wow!!!
Apaixonada
Nice routine!
wow! wow! wow!!!!!
looks like I have to come by to do this piece at OKCU
I have no experience in dance but I love it. I want to join jazz but I'm scared of being judged by those other people who are more experienced
And btw the more experienced ppl will judge but its mostly constructive or they keep it to themselves
Don't be scared! Join an adult class! There are some classes specifically for beginners and some for mixed skill where you will find a mixture of complete beginners of all ages (adult), medium skill amateur hobbyists and some retired professionals.
It's quite fun to be able to watch those more experienced in the same class - they will *not* judge you though! They're there to dance, not to judge or compete - everyone is there because they want to dance - and so no matter what ability level they're at, they will be happy that other people want to dance too (otherwise there'll be no classes!) and they will be encouraging and supportive to anyone just starting out or wanting to improve.
And generally the culture of dance classes is so, that dancers don't comment on each other - other than mutual encouragement.
Only the dance teacher will give instructions and constructive criticism - and the dance teacher will never make any personal or mean comments - they will try to help you to do exercises /movements more correctly and just tell you things like: "here the leg goes like this: ___", "Good.", "Point your toes.", "Straighten the supporting leg.", "Yes, that's better.", "Keep your left arm like this during this movement." [they might physically help you put it in the right position /angle], "Straighten your back like this [they will use their palms on your back gently to help you achieve the right posture], "On 7-8 look along your right arm." - etc.
- Dance class is full of technical corrections and explanations like this from the dance teacher to individuals or to the whole class - it's not personal and no one will judge you on receiving corrections - everyone is focusing on listening to the teacher's comments /reminders and improving themselves - and everyone will value receiving personal corrections from the teacher, as it means you can improve more! 😁
I see now your comment is from a year ago... Did you go to dance classes? If you haven't yet, start this September!
@@Czadzikable
Just wanted to let you know your encouragement doesn't go unappreciated. :) Thanks!
Unfortunately, all the dance classes that I'm interested in around me are for kids. Only ballroom dancing for adults around here. :')
Don't be scared jazz/comtemporary dance is fantastic
I joined jazz dance with very litle experience comparing to others and i love it. Now,I've been dancing for 2 years
That's why you join a beginers class, don't worry you will be fine, I didn't start dancing till I was 14, then I had a break and started again when I was 17. I'm a way better dancer now because I never gave up and I'm 37.
Is beautiful
Me encanto
