I agree. I found Jugo's poem/haiku at the end to be very interesting, as well. His entire identity seems to be sustained on this motif of «balance». It seems to be that, as long as the "good" (that he does) outweighs the "bad" (that he does) and his grand/cosmic plan (with Y.W.) to "save" the Quincies gets carried out, the ends justify the means and the “Balance” is kept (even if that means having to kill the closest thing you had to a "friend" and perhaps the last remnant of your past as a child/victim/someone without powers who could not defend himself from his abuser...He has now severed the ties with the Past). IF he manages to carry out his goal, then everything can be justified and «there is no pain» and his entire life of suffering and killing has not been for naught. It has ALL made sense. It was all “part of his Destiny” and part of Y.W.’s plan... IF NOT...Then nothing makes sense and he suffered/was abused and killed thousands for nothing. He can't accept that, so he appears to have hardened/shut himself into this "There is no pain + I believe in Your Highness/Y.W. + This is my Destiny + I belong to/with him + All my suffering has been justified" mode. This isn’t confirmed. We know Yhwach was expanding his territory north in order to put all Quincies in that region under his banner, explained in the Ichibei flashback. The Black family (Bazz’s people) were likely just a noble family of Quincy that refused to comply leading Yhwach to forcibly massacre their castle and town

This also indicates that they are the antithesis of Ichigo and Uryu. Kubo is crazy at foreshadowing, it took years for manga readers to understand the context of this fight
imagine thinking your whole life that you are a telented guy and take care of your untaleted friend because you pity him to then suddenly beeing told by the man who killed your whole family that your friend is the one carrying the two of you the whole time and you are nothing but a nobody without any talent. talk about shattering his ego.
No, in the manga there is another scene that makes it very clear that he put the button that Bazz B gave him when he was a child on the sword This part in the anime was more of an addition since it was not possible to see this emblem in this fight manga because Haschwalth's hand covered the emblem
Okay, spoilers of the manga: I think manga readers are getting a little confused here. We only see the button Bazz-B gave Haschwalth when he is eventually defeated by Ishida. In this episode, we were able to see some sort of emblem there, but it was not possible to figure out (yet) that it is indeed the button Bazz-B gave him.
All about perspective here. In Bazz B's eyes Yhwach was the villain that destroyed his clan In Juguram's eyes, Yhwach was his savior since his uncle died in a forest fire. saving him from abuse(implied that there was something more than just physical abuse by calling him his precious yugo.
This was one of the best parts of the manga. Jugram is such a good character. The last few episodes was the best stretch of tybw for me but with some additions to the anime the next cour could be even better. To put it into perspective there’s probably going to be about 30 chapters left of the manga which is about 8-9 episodes depending on the pacing so thats 4 full episodes worth of original content.
The way Bazz B received Misfoture(Their clan died and their castle burned) and Jugram got fortune( his abusive uncle died) its like a tease of how his Schrift B power
How ironic that Bazz B’s ‘The Heat’ was given by the very man who burned his family/village to the ground. 5:21 - Since Auswahlen only takes down the ones who are weak/old, Haschwalth had trust in Bazz surviving (not to mention that he still has the coin on the sword handle and family sword that Bazz gave him.) Despite his cold front, Haschwalth’s exit and the symbolic blood tear represents his true feelings, since Ywach can see it all and Haschwalth can’t show weakness in front of him (in Senjumaru’s Bankai, it foreshadowed Haschwalth being attacked by fire, which represents this fight with Bazz B and you could say it ‘killed’ what remained of him.) Only in BleAcH, do you get the guys with the ‘B’ and the ‘H,’ get their friendship torn apart by the guy with ‘A.’ Since Ywach can see it all, he killed Bazz’s mom/burned the village, ruined the friendship, manipulated Haschwalth by saying he needed him after killing his uncle that abused him, and empowered them with the Schrifts, all for his force to be this powerful currently (Bazz already was skilled before he met Haschwalth, so Ywach just wanted to drive them apart even more.) Next week is going to be even better and I bet even manga readers might be surprised, because the next episode title isn’t what most expected.
Auswahlen takes from every Quincy Yhwach selects, prioritizing weaker or older Quincies as needed. Haschwalth had no clue what Bazz B's condition could have been at the time but he knew that every Quincy not in the RR were elected
Bazz really loved jugo, they were best friends. Young Jugo had such an impostor syndrome, because of all his trauma, that he never believed Bazz really cared for him. Also young Bazz never told Jugo that he loved him because he was too tough and proud to say it. When Yhwatch chose Jugo instead of him, Bazz got angry and jealous and this only reinforced Jugo's decision to pick Yhwatch's side, as soon as he told him that he needed him unconditionally. Truth is Yhwatch is only using Jugo as he does with all quincies and Jugram will come to regreat his decision on his death bed. It's so sad that Bazz dies trying to show Jugo that he is still his friend and that he loves him, but Jugo doesn't believe it and thinks he has to show how superior, cold and strong he's become since picking Yhwatch's side instead.
If you look at young Jugram when he first met Bazz B, he had bruises on his arms. Jugram’s uncle was definitely abusive. I hate to imagine why he called him “my adorable little Jugo,” giving off more messed up implications. 😨 That just isn’t a normal thing for an uncle to call their young nephew. You can see how uncomfortable Jugram felt and how creepy the uncle sounded. That’s also why he didn’t like being called “Jugo.”
Now you get why bazz b was angry when uryu was chosen as Yhwach successor and even told him that he was disappointed Jugo had no complain about it. Bazz-B until the auswahlen always hoped Jugo was doing what Gin did to Aizen, but after that auswalhen he lost any hope in his friend, hence why he call him traitor.
Main thing Jugram chose Yhwach is that even at the end he saw his best friend was not at all happy with his achievements(judged by Bazz B's glare), but Yhwach says :"I need you with me" just meant so much for Jugram cause in the end nobody expressed this to Jugram, for him even his friend betrayed him with those looks. Hence Jugram is very loyal to Yhwach.
Hot take: Haschwalth knew Bazz B’s intentions from day 1 and kept it to himself well after Bazz B joined the ranks. Haschwalth either realized that trying to talk Bazz B out of his revenge would be pointless or if Haschwalth had informed Yhawach to BazzB’s intentions, he probably said his eyes already foretold or more likely that his eyes never became a blip on the threat radar and that BazzB was so insignificant to his plan that he didn't care if Haschwalth kept BazzB around. I wouldn't be surprised if was actually Haschwalth came up with the decree that infighting among Stern Ritters is punishable by death as a means to protect Bazz B from his more leathal superiors. Granted this is all speculation as I gave not read this arc.😅
26:16 This is likely a careful choice of words by Yhwach to manipulate Jugram and Bazz-B's take on things and undermine their relationship. Bazz already had talent that set him apart from his peers before he met Jugo. Jugo's influence probably helped a lot during their years together, but it's not as if Bazz's growth was solely due to him.
Yheach is manipulating Haschwalth so that he never becomes as strong as himself. Yhwach isn't special, he exterminates any Quincy just like him so that he can be the only one that can give out power and remain as powerful as he is. By controlling Haschwalth he guarantees souls can never go to Haschwalth instead
I think so too. Ain't no way Yhwach let Bazz (noble kid) be alive when he massacred Black house. On top of that Yhwach had the Allmighty there so he probably knew that Bazz would train for revenge with Jugo. He knew Bazz's personality changes after witnessing massacre. He knew Jugo would feel inferior around Bazz.
This episode was cinematic, a very good flashback, and Jugram definitely felt it. And to think that in the 4th season, we will have completely new episodes, we are receiving a lot, Kubo and the team are to be congratulated.
As an anime-only, I'm very excited to see more about Jugram now. He's really hard to read. His cold persona seems to be the way he found to cope with all the stuff he's been through. On the other hand, there were some hints that he still felt something about Bazz-B. - He still uses the sword he took from Bazz-B clan's castle. There's a shot where we can see the "B" family crest on the sword's hilt. - He always stands tall and confident, but after Bazz-B dies, they never show his eyes again and he seems to walk away with his head down. - There's a shot after Bazz death where the blood stain on his face looks like tears. - The first time we've seen him showing some kind of emotion was when he shouted Bazz-B full name, "Bazzard Black", after telling him to stop. - Despite all the taunts, he always avoided fighting Bazz. He even banished fights among Stern Ritters. I feel like this was his way of "protecting" him Maybe all of this is a stretch, but we know Kubo like to work with subtle and implicit stuff. Nonetheless, I want to see how this fight will impact on Jugo's future. Thanks for the video and the reaction Flexie. Merry christmas and all the best for you and your family!
There is another theme going on here. Bazz was trying to do something similar to what Ichimaru did. Both of them are a good illustration of the concept "if you go around hurting people, eventually you will fuck with the kind of person who will make it their life's mission to end you".
Their whole story was an act of "the balance" without Yuha having to bestow anything onto Jugram. Also the sheer resolve of Hashwalth swinging that sword day after day, dedicating himself to the weapon he found at his friend´s place, showing he understands that his own fortune could not come without someone else´s misfortune, in this case, a sacrifice, in the form of his friend´s loss. Which is Hashwalth´s way of honoring such misfortune. Without making any significant or even visible progress, to then making a statement with each and every swing of that sword. I used to find Hashwalth pretty mid back when reading the weekly manga release, but now I can confidently say he´s grown to be one of my favorite characters in the series. I SYMPLY LOVE BLEACH! 🔥✨
It's such a small Sidestory, but Jugram and Bazz always were amongst my favourite Parts of the entire War Arc - I still remember my first Reaction when the Chapters came out and their Relationship and it's Conclusion always really resonated with me for some Reason. At this point im a 30 yr old big ass Dude with a huge Beard, but it's safe to say that I shed a couple of Tears for this Episode after more than a Decade of waiting haha
Jugram really cared for Bazz B even after all this time. He kept the button that Bazz B gave him and embedded it into the handle of his sword. Definitely makes this much sadder.
It is frustrating but keep in mind it was also stated that Jugo actually was training harder than Bazz B. He was training much harder to make up for the lack of Quincy abilities while Bazz B was just gaining power without really doing much. Then thats when you find out that the only reason that was the case was because Jugo was giving him power. So while your stance is true, it kinda doesn’t work for these two when Jugo actually was working harder than Bazz Bz But yeah his poem is basically that he does not have to think about any pain he feels as long as he looks at the bigger picture and his whole thing is about “balance”. In the first cour he makes it clear that he takes the whole “balance” aspect to things very seriously. So he is not only looking at the bigger picture but also he feels that while something bad happened, something beneficial must come of it of equal value. Also Bazz B is indeed dead. This is was it for him.
I also wonder if Yugo was greatfull to ywach for destroying the city as it killed his uncle who is implied to have ab*sed him. Explaining how he would be so quick to turn on Baz B...
idk why but bazz seeing Yhwach on the horse when he burned down the clan reminded me of gin seeing aizen being the leader of the evil shi. and it was the same ost 😭
You missed the bruises on little Jugram, his uncle was abusive and called him Jugo, that's why he didn't like being called that. Yhwach was his savior and the first person said "I need you" instead of "You need me" in his life. He never had any reason to kill Yhwach.
Yhwach killed both their families. But the difference was that Bazz's life was ruined and Jugo's was saved. That's why Jugo turns towards Yhwach so easily. Also Yhwach was wrong about Bazz B not being a genius. He already was able to make a crossbow even before meeting Jugo. But I guess that was a manipulation tactic to make Jugo feel better about himself.
Yayy finally your reaction about TYBW episode 38: Friend is here I've waited this since sunday that normally your Bleach reaction's coming a day after relase, but better late than never as they say! It was really interesting to see Bazz & Jugo's backstory how they met and become friends before Yhwach choice Haschwalt to be he's right handed first man in the Quincy forces and seeing them now I'll understand why Yhwach choice Haschwalt over Bazz-B, but I'll see why Yhwach wanted Haschwalt to be he's first right handed man over Bazz-B and why Bazz-B's angry because Yhwach's forces destroyed he's home, but it's really sad to see their fighting to the death yes the battle was insane, but even Bazz's being Haschwalt's rival and now enemy Haschwalt shouldn't have to kill he's Bringer fire finger: Best friend forever! RIP Bazzard Black I knew since TYBW Cour 1 that you're not an enemy, you're a real hero, the legend of a fire! 🏹🗡💔😢🔥🔥
Try look from Jugram View. Bazz wasn't really that nice to him either. When Bazz stared at him, his reaction was the exact same as when his uncle was mentioned. He went along with Bazz B dream that he didn't care for, but Bazz always looked down on him. Bazz was fixed on killing Yhwach. Then he was fixed on defeating Jugram. There was never talking with him because Bazz is a narcissist. Even in his last words, Bazz didn't apologise to Jugram. Also Jugram said he hates the name Jugo because his uncle, but Bazz still calls him that. Bazz never even lower himself down to train with Jugram either. Jugram legit trains by himself swinging the sword all day all night. Bazz had very little compassion for Jugram. Jugram didn't want to fight nor he could stop Yhwach from doing Auswalen. He's just being dragged along by both Bazz and Yhwach.
Bazz asked Jugo if he's gonna party with him or live with uncle.Jugo had a choice.Bazz never bullied him,it's just at this moment he lost his cool cause he thought Jugo could not kill Yhwach. Bazz was fixed on killing the man who destroyed his life ofc he would a little confused when ₩ Under normal circumstances I want to believe that Bazz would notice Jugo's uncle abuse and rescue his friend.
Bazz issa reminder to not be so self-centered like had he not been so self-absorbed in his own loss he might have realized Jugo was being abused by his uncle and could be swayed not to have the same ire to overthrow Ywach as him. Bazz also may have picked up on the power creep he gets being around Jugo due to Jugo as opposed to his constant need to be a "GeNiUs"
Bazz saw his family's massacre at the young age tho so after that he lost his cool and driven by revenge he thought Jugo (maybe also thought Jugo lacked motivation i guess) couldn't kill Yhwach. At least he didn't abandoned, beat, bullied Jugo.He had thoughts about Jugo not being good partner for revenge but he never said that to Jugo in face
Jugo could have easily stayed behind like Baz said. It's one thing to not help but it's another thing to stop me from my mission. Jugo is a traitor, I'd be pissed too. I really hope there is a twist on his behavior. Great discussion at the end!
Great reaction. Kubo says a lot, but so does Hideo Kojima. I'll believe it when I see it. "Nothing ever goes as planned" Oh, boy. I can't wait for you to get farther in Naruto. This episode felt like all emotion, and very little substance. I don't know how any of this changes/progresses any of the story. But, then again, Nanao's zanpakuto felt like an ass-pull from nowhere, since it was never hinted at or built up. Unohana at least had people scared of her (like Aizen, trapping her in Hueco Mundo with Kenny) before we learned what we know. So, maybe it's just me. Also, note. You didn't notice that Jugo has Bazz's button on his sword. And that young Jugo was all bruised up.

Ok this feels like a stretch but still makes ALOT of sense, HOW!??😂
wow really impressed by your detailed attention to detail
imagine thinking your whole life that you are a telented guy and take care of your untaleted friend because you pity him to then suddenly beeing told by the man who killed your whole family that your friend is the one carrying the two of you the whole time and you are nothing but a nobody without any talent.
talk about shattering his ego.
The blood stain on Haschwalth's face makes it look like he's crying near the end
“Bazz and Jugram is another version of ichigo and ishida.”Kubo set their birthdays to be only one day apart.
If you pause when Haschwalth unsheathes his sword, you can see he attached Bazz's coin to the handle 😭
I keep seeing people say this.
But wasn't the "B" emblem already on the sword as they found it in the rubble? As its a Black family heirloom.
No, in the manga there is another scene that makes it very clear that he put the button that Bazz B gave him when he was a child on the sword
This part in the anime was more of an addition since it was not possible to see this emblem in this fight manga because Haschwalth's hand covered the emblem
@@ez_is_bloo Pretty sure it represents Bazz. You read the manga? Don't want to spoil you
Okay, spoilers of the manga:
I think manga readers are getting a little confused here. We only see the button Bazz-B gave Haschwalth when he is eventually defeated by Ishida. In this episode, we were able to see some sort of emblem there, but it was not possible to figure out (yet) that it is indeed the button Bazz-B gave him.
@@matheusbecker2351yeah because the button is on the side of the hilt towards Jugo body, and when he grabs the sword he covers it with his finger.
All about perspective here.
In Bazz B's eyes Yhwach was the villain that destroyed his clan
In Juguram's eyes, Yhwach was his savior since his uncle died in a forest fire. saving him from abuse(implied that there was something more than just physical abuse by calling him his precious yugo.
5:21 - Since Auswahlen only takes down the ones who are weak/old, Haschwalth had trust in Bazz surviving (not to mention that he still has the coin on the sword handle and family sword that Bazz gave him.) Despite his cold front, Haschwalth’s exit and the symbolic blood tear represents his true feelings, since Ywach can see it all and Haschwalth can’t show weakness in front of him (in Senjumaru’s Bankai, it foreshadowed Haschwalth being attacked by fire, which represents this fight with Bazz B and you could say it ‘killed’ what remained of him.)
Only in BleAcH, do you get the guys with the ‘B’ and the ‘H,’ get their friendship torn apart by the guy with ‘A.’ Since Ywach can see it all, he killed Bazz’s mom/burned the village, ruined the friendship, manipulated Haschwalth by saying he needed him after killing his uncle that abused him, and empowered them with the Schrifts, all for his force to be this powerful currently (Bazz already was skilled before he met Haschwalth, so Ywach just wanted to drive them apart even more.) Next week is going to be even better and I bet even manga readers might be surprised, because the next episode title isn’t what most expected.
I love your review. Some parts were spot on, and others were still really good discussions made.
Bazz-B schrift = H (for hachswalt)
Jugo schrift B = for BAZZ B
If you look at young Jugram when he first met Bazz B, he had bruises on his arms. Jugram’s uncle was definitely abusive. I hate to imagine why he called him “my adorable little Jugo,” giving off more messed up implications. 😨 That just isn’t a normal thing for an uncle to call their young nephew. You can see how uncomfortable Jugram felt and how creepy the uncle sounded. That’s also why he didn’t like being called “Jugo.”
Or that Jugo's eyes were without light.
Yeah. He got that Diddy experience

Merry Christmas
Masterpiece of an episode 🔥 the final 2 episodes are gonna be insane
Now you get why bazz b was angry when uryu was chosen as Yhwach successor and even told him that he was disappointed Jugo had no complain about it. Bazz-B until the auswahlen always hoped Jugo was doing what Gin did to Aizen, but after that auswalhen he lost any hope in his friend, hence why he call him traitor.
This reaction was a nice Christmas present! Bazz-B and Jugram's backstory is so emotional...
He knew Jugo would feel inferior around Bazz.
your commentary, i love it so much!
This episode was cinematic, a very good flashback, and Jugram definitely felt it.
And to think that in the 4th season, we will have completely new episodes, we are receiving a lot, Kubo and the team are to be congratulated.
Yhwach killed Baz B parents and made his life hard
Yhwach killed Jugrams abusive uncle which made his life better. The two povs is insane
I feel like this was his way of "protecting" him
Maybe all of this is a stretch, but we know Kubo like to work with subtle and implicit stuff.
I was waiting for this reaction 🔥
Merry Christmas!
Bazz B death 😢
Really a hero
I've been waiting for this reaction🙏🏻🔥
It's such a small Sidestory, but Jugram and Bazz always were amongst my favourite Parts of the entire War Arc - I still remember my first Reaction when the Chapters came out and their Relationship and it's Conclusion always really resonated with me for some Reason. At this point im a 30 yr old big ass Dude with a huge Beard, but it's safe to say that I shed a couple of Tears for this Episode after more than a Decade of waiting haha
im fukin proud that ive never watched 1 episode of naruto and 1 piece and i was a bleach fan from the beginning !
Ur askimg what this episode? Nah its a masterpiece.💪💪💪
"I gave u my sword, so why i see it soaked in my own blood"
Fun fact: Burning Full Fingers abbreviated is BFF.
So while your stance is true, it kinda doesn’t work for these two when Jugo actually was working harder than Bazz Bz
But yeah his poem is basically that he does not have to think about any pain he feels as long as he looks at the bigger picture and his whole thing is about “balance”. In the first cour he makes it clear that he takes the whole “balance” aspect to things very seriously. So he is not only looking at the bigger picture but also he feels that while something bad happened, something beneficial must come of it of equal value.
Also Bazz B is indeed dead. This is was it for him.
Story was the Centre piece of the Ep.....Bazzard B my guy.
Determination/will overcomes all
Jugo got that young Justin Bieber treatment
Merry Christmas!! How nice to see you today, I hope with all my heart that you are having a wonderful and happy holiday season ❤️😊💌🎁🎄
Friends that split apart at the end
his letter is "B" as in balance
burning full fingers…
B F F
I love your reaction on bleach
Jugo still keeps the B coin Bazz gave him when they were kids on his sword.
its sad cuz if u remember bazz still considered jugo a close friend and got real mad when uryu became yhwach successor and not jugo
Even dandadan is not giving us this Cinema 😭
You missed the bruises on little Jugram, his uncle was abusive and called him Jugo, that's why he didn't like being called that. Yhwach was his savior and the first person said "I need you" instead of "You need me" in his life. He never had any reason to kill Yhwach.
I didn’t miss it… I just didn’t want to comment on it 😣 and yes, it’s very upsetting.
Cour 3 made me a 32yr old tear-up 3 weeks in a row...could they go for four?! Find out next time on Dradon Ball Z!......🤔
'BleacH' B and H are distant
burner full finger→bff
best friend forever
Sorry oot but I thought you will upload your name on christmas?
It's posting this week
Bazz was fixed on killing the man who destroyed his life ofc he would a little confused when ₩
Under normal circumstances I want to believe that Bazz would notice Jugo's uncle abuse and rescue his friend.
My favorite anime of all time... bleach...I want Jojo in your channel
9:27 here bazz b mom was killed.
Finally damn lil lady take you forever to react
This is insanely peak
yhwach just save jugram from his horrible uncle
Reaction starts 3:53
when i first read the manga i always thought it would be cooler if Bazz-B's full name is Bazzard Blaze instead of Black.
FIRSTTT 🎉
IM FIRST 🎉🎉

Haschwalth is probably one of the nastiest characters in Bleach, his character is one who betrays and uses others after they have no more value to him, and trades up those relationships
