Mate, that was the worst walk I've had to a mark to date, it's a right killer. Luke your thinking, I'm convinced of it. Surely they'll fly down there or on the first bend, there's a lovely deep gully 😉
Dinas great mark we used to take the quad and trailer to that mark some years ago cought huge tope and some big bass and once upon a time you could pay the fort to park and then go fish
Mate, I was thinking that on the day, a quad would be ideal. Just a cheap tatty thing to get to the mark. I could see trails from quads etc cutting through the dunes. It's a nightmare why you can't pay at the fort now. I can imagine about the bass running through there.

There's some monster tope run along the Norfolk coast feeding on the herring catching them off the beach would be a huge achievement I'm going to give it a go this summer

Bringing back memories, I fished Dinas 20 yrs ago with my dad and caught some nice bass. I believe you need to use a peeler with squid - Another place to fish for bass and turbot is Barnmouth great spring fishing .
I believe a unit will brace a lucky angler there soon, the place is heaving with them! As I was walking up the beach, you could see all the feeding holes on the lug beds.
Cheers ceirion, it was a lovely little bass. That session was totally unplaned in that area that day, I was planning on fishing the landslide but something screamed at me to go down there. But, timed it wrong with the walk, still a nice little bass. As for the tope, another month and they'll start, what do you reackon? I'm yet to fish the famous rock marks, so if you fancy it, drop me a dm buddy.

I've got a few marks pinned ready to go on the tope, it won't be long and I'll be bent in double hopefully! 🤪
@@thatsabite its a really nice rock matey if you fish it don't fish in the bay bit too snagy unless you after conger eels or fishing on a floot down the side on low Warter after pollock or over species of fish lol fish on the front bit fishing out to sea its one of the safet rocks to fish off used to fish it all time day and over night fishing for the big stuff lol but make sure you got plenty line on your reel its that deep 😀 all the best Paul 👍ps make sure you got a drop net just incase you get that big bullhuss tope or big conger eel or thorn back ray there's every species of fish there to be court lol 😆
