This video like many other videos related to openvpn server management are amature. The resone for that is related to WAN IP and DDNS. Let me see your WAN IP first and how ISP forwarding 1194 to your WAN.
First step for making openvpn server is to call ISP to forwarding 1194 to your WAN IP. People are unaware what is static publish IP.

Great video, what if you wanted different user setups, for instance. You wanted a user for administration only that had access to multiple subnets and you have others users who only need access to only one of those subnets. Would you simply create a copy of one openvpn server setup, change the port and subnet(s) access ?

I have tried to setup VPN a few times by the "let's wing it" method and have never been able to get it to work. Following this video, though did the trick. Should you ever decide to update the video, I have two recommendations to make it easier. #1 - Remind the person to check and ensure that they're running the latest stable version of pfSense - otherwise, it will not allow them to install the export package until they've updated. That way, they won't have a break in the middle of the process while updating the server and possibly getting a wire crossed in the interim. #2 - be a little more specific about what you're clicking on and what you're skipping/leaving default. Usually, I have one eye on the window I'm working in and another eye and (mostly) ear on the video, so without audio cues, it's easy to miss something, especially when moving from one page to another. Don't get me wrong, though - the video did the trick and I was able to get everything working only by following the video, so great job and thank you!

No, you just have to have a internet connection to be able to retrieve the package

Thank you for the video and I did as you guided. When I connect, I get an an IP address from the VPN server but I cannot ping the VPN server and I cannot login to the VPN server. When I checked the IP addresses I got, the default gateway is missing (blank). What am I missing? Thank you.

every config file generated via this method errors. either gives error --nobind doesn't make sense unless used with --remote even if nobind is not in the config file. If that is corrected then it tells you it cannot determine the connection method(tcp4/6). If you define that, it gives you the nobind error again.
