Flo is one of the very few drummers who actually got better and faster with age
When you're a guitarist but Cryptopsy's drumming is your wet dream.
@thomas hinchey Jamie st merat and Elliot hoffaman best ever!!!
@@isaacdissonance3967 Jamie’s one of my absolute favorites and Elliot’s no slouch either
Their drummer is completely insane 🤘!
I'm a bassist and I love oli's playing but I also love flo's drumming
00:00 The Wretched Living
04:50 Sire Of Sin
09:18 Fear His Displeasure
13:13 The Laws Of The Flesh
BUY THIS ALBUM!!!
Thank.
Random Random Ayyy, another guy that likes Aphex Twin and Cryptopsy, respect \m/
@@yearnpill and Richard D James
flo is the most athletic musician in the game.
It's nice to see OGs still leading the game.
Too bad they haven't had a decent album in a long while. They new singer isnt very good and new albums have not been great
Wow, this is insane. All 4 songs are pure surgical demolition, really love The wretched living. Damn it guys, today we got a new Crypto EP, a new Hate Eternal album, a new Bloodbath album, and I'm seeing Dying Fetus live tonight. HOLY HELL.
Dying Fetus are too damn good, especially live. Don’t forget Internal Bleeding as well, seeing them in a few days!
i miss lord worm
PYREXIA :D
Dont forget Serocs and Hissing!!!
New Unleashed too!
This newer cryptopsy lineup has had so much more groove than previous lineups. Really stoked on the last 3 albums/EPs. Also, just realized the vocalist goes so hard he totally hits that tuvan throat octave sometimes and it sounds badass as fuuck.
I'm 48 and have been listening to metal since i was 12, work out whatever albums you want to have come out in that time period. this is the most savage thing i have ever heard. late on the game hearing them.
lethal lethal shit.
OH BRO, listen to None So Vile if you haven't already.
I like this approach. Put out solid work in small chunks instead of trying to fill an entire album and possibly compromising quality.
an EP?
@@Dan16673 lol
mr Burger Not just an EP, but a series of EPs. This is Tome II out of III.
It's a worthwhile approach if a band has proven themselves incapable of writing an LP without shit songs and filler. I'd still prefer a full length album every year or two from my favourite artists, which I know isn't always possible for various reasons. But when you got dudes putting out material every four years there's so much lost potential.
Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Cryptopsy.
This band is pioneers in brutal techdeath 🤘🔨🤘🔨🔨🔨🔨
Riff at 15:23 with the power chord slides and pinch harmonics is classic Cryptopsy.
Holy fucksticks this is good! And it just keeps geting better and better, for every playthrough.
Great production, riffs, drums..everything.
SLAP-TASTIC!
Thumbs up! Like the vocals... as I also like the vocals of Mike DiSalvo and Lord Worm...
Wow! THANKS! I would've charged money..
reminds me somehow of Despised Icon and Psycroptic
im a none so vile fan, but this is a good one
So it turns out you can actually play both EPs at the same time and it links pretty much perfectly.
Both Tomes 1 and 2 were amazing. More like this PLEASE
'flo mounier the top drummer of the world, great EP
The world? Eh, not really
Flo Mounier is a top drummer, but I think that the best in death metal is George Kollias
@@gu4r4po Kollias is great, but I don't think I've ever heard him pull off anything like that blast around 17:08 for that long either
Everything I can ask for !!
So fu$%!+? Brutal
This genre is still alive !
It should be heard more than pop music . THIS IS ART
The drums are insane! Love it
I've been listening to this for days and still amazed at how extreme their music has become.
Chris really did a great job writing these songs,
bunch of complex rhythms makes it sound almost like progressive death metal,
nevertheless without losing their aggressiveness.
Plus, they've still got the melodious riffs and solos, as can be heard in Track 4.
Matt's vocal style, where he sings with variety of screams and good sense of rhythm,
is an excellent match for this current style of Cryptopsy.
Flo, of course, is always the best drummer, and I feel as if
his drumming is increasing power every time a new material is released.
Last but certainly not least, this EP features a lot of Olivier's bassplays.
I've always liked that intelligent looking guy who suddenly turns into a beast on stageXD
Together, I feel that Cryptosy finally made a success in their musical evolution,
an attempt they've tried but failed a decade ago.
I definitely love to hear these new songs live,
and already can't wait for the release of Tome III!!
Definitely splicing Tome 1 and 2 into a single album on my various devices when I get home - Cryptosy, STILL killing it after all these years! I was just listening to Whisper Supremacy last night too - damn!
You could absolutely splice all songs in any order again and again and it will all line up.
Most fucking BRUTAL
This is so sick 👌🏻
Instrumentally as amazing as ever !!! Love how this hits!! 👌👌🤘
Cryptopsy's best album, simply destroyer! I loved this damn thing =D
This sounds like the good ol' Cryptopsy - brutal violence, no compromise, no prisoners, no mercy. FUCK YEAH! I love this. BRING IT ON!!!
I like this vocal and approach. His voice is fit for new cryptopsy.
Drumming is second to none.
Sire Of Sin 🔥
Wow. Even better than book 1. The riffs are ridiculous
Nothing but good stuff to say about this album. Awesome drumming work btw.
This EP is incredible. The musicianship is top notch, but i have to point out Matt McGachy's performance in this album. Best performance ever. I even hear reminiscences of Lord Worm. Im glad to see Cryptopsy is stronger than ever.
Lw is an idiot.
i have Never been disappointed by a Cryptopsy record... job well done gents...
This is real BRUTAL METAL!!! This is real HEAVY!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Canadian legends
This reminds me of Whisper Supremacy-era Cryptopsy. I'm in Heaven...
About time! Fuck yeah.
Just perfection..bass of another planet, insane sick vocals that match well in this, amazing guitar riffs structures and solos, homicidal surgical drums..i see the light!!!
What an absolute blast
This is so brutal I just kicked my grandma in the face... And she's been dead for years...
LMAO
Looooool dude u killed me
Agreed! I've followed this band for years and this release is refreshing.
le chant est bien articulé sur ce Ep ,et ca donne tout de suite autre chose.Cryptopsy revient en super forme! excellent !!!
I think this is the best Cryptopsy release since None So Vile.
I love whisper supremacy and self titled!!!
Isaac dissonance agreed, Whisper Supremacy and s/t were both fantastic. I love all of the weird jazzy flairs on WS
None so vile was my first Death metal band I ever listen to and I was hooked from that point on but with Lord worm u can't go wrong this sounds like him I hope it is cause I've heard their other shit and it ain't cryptopsy without lord worm whisper supremacy was another great album but none so vile was the greatest this is great shit to I happy to here they r keeping their music alive this is the first time I've checked in on them in a couple years
@@ryannolan8449 agreed. i love cryptopsy and i love lord worm.
Awesome stuff!!!
Love every minut of this
A revelation for me since i discovered them with Whisper of supremacy...
What can i say ? Still awesome band, one of my favourite.
And this voice, very nice .
Hail.
This...Is....Perfect....That blast at the end.....Speechless...🖤🖤🖤🖤
Absolutely awesome!!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
This SLAPS.

Stop using ghetto slang in Metal
Blows Tome I away imo fantastic!
We need The Lord Worm 🪱
Awesome!
Amazing brutal EP..The mix is great..
excellent produit du quebec. good as always!
Nice this is awesome . I love the clean sound
That last scream is like 25 seconds long man!!
Great album. One of the most exciting releases this year. I was truly grinning ear to ear when I saw this posted. lml
Flo e' qualcosa di inumano,ti mette k o con i suoi blast beat
baddass!!!!!!!! made my evening at 11pm.
WOW HOLY FUCKING SHIT. I already loved the songs you previously released. The first song though...holy fucking shit my brain is torn to shreds!!
OOOOOH MAMA this is great!
Hellllllll Yeeeeeaaaa! Blood from the eyes and ears! I want to listen to more! \m/
Sounds great
Cryptopsy is back bitches!
Hell of track!!!! \m/
Damn! This sentiment... it has returned right now! The Sentiment to chop everybody around me!!! Amazing!
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH goign apeshit!!!!!!! BAM!!! awesome work..as always.
That ending of the last song was fucking INSANE
Excelente bueda explosivo💣💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Totally had this on the big stereo. Mix is great. Songwriting is awesome. Vox are just plain creepy in parts (that scream at the beginning of The Loss of the Flesh).
Had chills in parts of this EP. Dunno. I won't blubber anymore. Let's just say that you guys are on point and still one of the best.
Cheers
Best release since None So Vile and it frankly isn't close.
Pretty crushing.
I will be seeing Cryptopsy playing with Aborted in just over a month in Limerick, Ireland which is a small city towards the west of the country in a venue that will probably have about 200 in attendance. The ticket cost me €22. That is why bands like these are great. I saw Cryptopsy years ago in Cork with Lord Worm touring Once Was Not. It was heavy shit and I was rarely more drunk than I was at that gig. Roll on Nov 29th
Just looked up your city. Looks really nice. You live in a castle.
King John's Castle. It's my house alright
I think Matt Magachy’s a way better singer than Lord Worm.
200 people is the best fucking size for a tour like this. I really hope you'll also be seeing Cytotoxin and Benighted on this tour. Both bands are absolutely gorgeous live!
@@michaelpritchett9856 well, neither of them are "singers". I don't recall ever hearing either of them sing.
I think Matt is the more technically skilled vocalist but LW brings an originality that Matt lacks. Matt's vocals are very generic.
This is fucking sick! LOVE IT
Dammit those bass chops is tasty brutal 😈✊
Sacrament ça arrrache! lml
Great/Awesome EP! Can't wait for chapter 3!
Holy hell this is so heavy. Yet another brutal release! Cheers guys!
Muy bueno
Go with the Flo,
Chris Donaldson fucking slays!
This is how it’s done.
Love you, maniacs!
That was a vicious assault on my ears and I fkn loved every second of it.
Ça motive à travailler vite!!
ual! Thanks!
Yeah! I liked of this formation. Amazing! I stoped listen cryptopsy in DiSalvo times.
Fluo Mounier, you are fodástico :]
2018 is great year for metal industry
I tend to piss all over Matt mcscratchys Vox but this little bit is a gem spot on actually
Sin palabras
This album is fucking murderous. I can't believe how much I like it.
The bassist doesn't get enough credit, like, holy fuck, bro. Shreds hard. Like grated cheese.
Hope there will be a Tome III !
to think they went from The Unspoken King to this...DAYM
terraincognita69 What do you mean?
He means this is good and Unspoken King was UTTER DOGSHIT.
WOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!!! SSO BRUTAL!!!!!!!! \m/
Amazing work guys,thanks
And that epic solo in the last song! Damn, all songs need solos like that!
holy shit!!
Damn that first track goes hard
