Very interesting historical footage, much of the High Street still quite recognisable today despite the best efforts of local council wreckers. I note the numerous commercial vehicles and relatively few private cars. United buses in abundance plus O.K and Wilkinson's and some other local independents, all seemingly busy due to lack of car ownership no doubt!
Joe Riley My brother Dennis and I used to play around the buses outside the Arcadia in the early 1960s. He ended up driving a London Transport bus, and I worked on the Underground.
No I haven't any more. My dad received it through the post from a old friend. I hope he gets another one or two. If he does I'll upload them straight away.
