As a musician, if you don't appreciate the beauty of these guitar parts and the perfect arrangement of this rock masterpiece, I don't think we can be friends. Thanks for creating this video.
Killer man! I learned this song when Gish first came out, around 30 years ago. Hell, I learned the whole album. Although, you and I play it, just a bit differently, the results are the same. Great job and great tune!
It's great that you captured the Gibson/Fender different guitar parts. I don't think that is something you can pick up on by merely listening. Either you did your homework or you are a fan.
Fuck dude, absolutely gorgeous cover, so happy you did both parts. Years ago, I looked up a cover of this song, hoping to find a double guitar version but didn't, glad I randomly searched for it again. What a song, eh? Absolutely love how the guitars play around with each other, especially that part where they solo together
The riffs perfectly complements each other is one thing, the attempt at the tone and sound by reusing each of the band members guitar models is just paying proper homage. Kudos to you sir!
I guess I'm just an old 80's metal head. And everyone in Florida at my age is stuck in the 70,'s classic rock thing. Song sounded perfect. Thanks for sharing
This guy's an absolute dude. The guitar covers are absolute quality, not to mention the heady brew of British Indie/Britpop and 80s-2000s alternative, which are absolutely right in my wheelhouse.
WOw, they are so good. I want to learn this. Me and a friend are talking about starting a UA-cam channel where we cover Smashing Pumpkins' Songs. I show him your videos. It will be work, but it will be fun. I'm in a band, where we don't do covers, but I want this as a side project. Thanks for putting up the how-to videos of the Smashing Pumpkins.
i don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but the riff at 0:28 sounds a little similar to the opening riff to rage against the machine's "guerilla radio," i thought that was super neat
Wait...this song has simultaneous guitar solos?!!! Didn't know that was a thing...and that it could sound great. I've loved this song for decades and had no idea.
Your covers are really great man. Can I ask you how do you get the distorted tone for pretty much any Pumpkins song? Do you use a specific pedal in particular or it’s something else? It’s a good sound.
Cheers Paolo. They are always recorded in the computer... most were GuitarRig but I use Amplitube now. There are subtle changes between songs but the core sound is always a Big Muff into a Marshall JCM800 and a little reverb. Clean sounds are the same but without the Big Muff.
@@SparkyGuitar thanks a lot. I was so impressed because using the big Muff there’s always a "muddy" effect but you managed to create a clearer sound. (Hummer's intro comes to mind) or even in the riffs (like Siva or I am One) you got a very detailed and defined sound on the individual notes. If you have any suggestions I would be so grateful
@@p_pelliccia well on gish, the reason it’s so clear is because there is no big muff. it comes from a preamp (the ada mp-1 which you can’t really get anymore unless you want to spend all of your money). so basically of right now there’s no way to nail the gish sound 100% :(
Hello. Every song I've done also has a tab version. Details are in the description. Some are available to everyone ... but initially they are only for Patreon supporters. They can access nearly 300 songs for the price of a coffee as a thank you for their support. Cheers!

Well said!
It’s strange. I didn’t dislike but didn’t really care for this song until I started writing. Now it’s in my top 5
Just came back and am still blown away that you can play this note for note from memory. Amazing.

Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Would love to see some more Gish tracks like Bury me, Snail, Tristessa. Brilliant licks and solos throughout the album

Thanks.... it was a lot of both! ;-)

amazing!!!...happy new year!!!
Thanks - and same to you Patricio!
Wait...this song has simultaneous guitar solos?!!! Didn't know that was a thing...and that it could sound great. I've loved this song for decades and had no idea.
Luckily they are panned separately so you can work it out. Means 2 solos to learn though!!!
@@SparkyGuitar that's pretty genius, I don't think I know any other songs that do that (having 2 different solos played at the same time).
Fantastic. Thank you for that.
Amazing!
YES!!!
Can you do a Luna tabs video pleaseee
Amazing cover dude! what pedals did you use?
It's early Smashing Pumpkins... so it's always going to be the default option... a Marshall JCM800.... and a Big Muff... and a little reverb!
@@SparkyGuitarThanks for the answer Man. Is the tone Knob on or off? Keep doing This covers, they're awesome!
