The more reason why Raila working with Ruto after what Ruto did to Luo community killing their youths during maandamano is far fetched. If Raila decide to team with Ruto it will be a big betrayal to not only to Kenyans seeing the suffering with punitive taxes and unbearable conditions living they are going through but a bigger betrayal to the Luo community that has suffered under Ruto ruthless regime. In my opinion if uhuru and gachagua were to meet to talk then that will make gachagua the yet to be crowned ,the incoming next kingpin of mt kenya. Otherwise why do uhuru need to talk to him? For me i think the " lion " that mt kenya needs right now is wamuchomba. She should be doing all negotiations on behalf of mt kenya ,of course with uhuru as the power behind her. Assuming that Raila sits the next election out, the best bet for Kenya would be for the country to line up behind a credible Kikuyu presidential candidate because there will be one in 2027.
What we did to Moi is what we must do to Ruto. Only the Kikuyu nation has the convening power and the resources necessary to push back successfully against Ruto (not to mention motive).
Ruto will try to do a Moi by sponsoring candidates to fracture the opposition. A Martha-Wandayi-Kalonzo ticket (for example) would be unbeatable as long as Kalonzo does not play spoiler with Eugene in tow. Kalonzo, although a front-runner, lacks the resources necessary to mount a successful presidential campaign. His resource mobilization skills are also woefully wanting.
We need to stop this necessity of only choosing leaders who have resources because we will continue to get what we have always gotten. How will good leaders from resource poor regions become president? We are even inviting outsiders to interfere in our country because of going to them to seek funds for elections. Too much money in politics is also slowly eating away at stronger democracies. Why should we then copy that system? We need to start educating our electorate on how avoid manipulation tactics that are enabled by enormous sums of money, only to end up giving us poor leadership.

FYI "muma" is not a drink! its an oath... any limuru declaration can't be without muma. this is why you saw the a gikuyu elders with official regalia. This is to elevate limuru 3 to have been equated to a "shrine" where divine intervention is sort.
