Even though its DIY, you should still take the time to make clean parting lines with a metal rat tail comb. If you dont, you are pulling strands of hair into the tapes from other areas which will result in irritation and pulling.
Hi, I love how you did it! But would you please explain, how do you install it to make middle and a side part work? Because, most of the tutorials says that you have to chose a part! Thank you!!!
In my latest tape in hair extension video I mention how I install them so I can have a middle part and side part 🤪 I’m the same I don’t want to be limited to just one style!
It really depends on how fast your hair grows out, how close to the scalp you applied them, and how well you take care of them. I've been doing my own tape ins for a long time and I've worn them for as long as 3 months. You can't condition the roots or let your scalp get too oily because it affects the tape. Be very careful with heat as well.
I bought mine 2 different times from the brand Suyya on Amazon. Personally, I love them. I’ve reused them multiple times. I’ve dyed them, and toned them myself. I’ve installed them at home and I’ve had them installed at a salon. Hairdressers were blown away by the quality and how well they held color.
Absolutelyyy! Mirrors in front and back do the trick! But I got fancy and hooked my camera to my laptop so I could see the back of me while having my laptop in front. So much easier! ❤️
Hey! YAY so happy for you!! 😊 I actually had them in for about 2 months, but had to take them out early with all the wig content I create, it's a struggle to pack all that hair under a wig cap! 🙈 But seriously, the quality was amazing. I could have definitely reused them if not for my crazy content schedule! 😅
Yes, I did lose some hair when removing them-it was my first time, and the glue was super sticky and messy! I’ve used Endaring tape-ins (review on my channel!), and those didn’t pull out any hair, but Shein’s glue seems harsher.
To be honest, I didn't count them individually, so I'm not entirely sure of the exact number. 🥺 But I'll definitely keep track next time I put my extensions back in!
i got these tape ins and dont get me wrong i love the hair buh the actual tape was soooo hard to remove from my hair and i tried everything so i had to cut them off of my hair so if you get these i recommend you replace the tape before useing them so you dont have to cut them like i did :(
Oh no, I’m sorry to hear that! 😢 I totally agree-I had a hard time with the tape too! Thanks for the tip about replacing it before using; that’s super helpful! 💖
Great work for doing them yourself! You did great! But the just out of the salon comment is a reach, the quality for and the color matching is the only cons. I'd definitely hope you wouldn't have paid a professional for this. But DIY its definitely good enough.
Hey, thanks a bunch for the love on my DIY skills! 😄 Yeah, I might have gone a tad overboard with the "just out of the salon" comment, but I just get super excitedddd about these things! 😂 Seriously though, I really appreciate your honesty. ❤️

How long do tape ins last?
Tape-ins typically last around 6-8 weeks, but it can vary depending on care and maintenance. 😊
How do you know where the tape goes in the back do you have a back mirror to look
Absolutelyyy! Mirrors in front and back do the trick! But I got fancy and hooked my camera to my laptop so I could see the back of me while having my laptop in front. So much easier! ❤️

Hello, do you lose a lot of hair when removing?

How many tape in pieces in total did you put on your head? :)
To be honest, I didn't count them individually, so I'm not entirely sure of the exact number. 🥺 But I'll definitely keep track next time I put my extensions back in!
