Wow! Great to see that yard finally looking great! That must feel good. I think the pressure washer idea has some potential, but maaaaybe in specific applications 🤷🏻♂ Fun to see you get filthy dirty though! 😂
Nice work Brother! You are getting there..Good to see that power line going in too! You will get there. Its your Property so you can take your time and do it when you can!
Couple things - I think the pressure washer ditching might have actually worked a lot better for you if you aimed it further away from yourself instead of directly down right at your feet. Straddle the ditch and aim it at a 45. If that meant you had to be down in the ditch that’s okay, or maybe figure out a way to extend the wand 3-5 longer. The other thing is, if you’re going to all this trouble for one utility, then it would make sense to also lay in a water line at the same time.
Interesting thought! Maybe a longer wand would have helped. Not a bad idea to do water at the same time. However, I don’t think I have any water lines close enough that I could have used the same trench for them.
I could have gotten you a walk behind trencher in your area with my employee discount had we known you were about to do that. Not putting my company in this comment after making that statement lol. You’d have been done with that in about an hour max including the back fill.
Depends on how much a ditch witch would be to rent that would be a great idea to do that trench

White lines in the sandstone might be small quartz intrusions.
Interesting!

A trencher would have been nice! I’m not sure if a walk behind trencher would get through sand stone, though.
Did you know you can rent devices that dig trenches. They look like chainsaws on steroids.
Yup, I’ve heard of those! 😁
