I mean. If someone reads a book and doesn't even notice that a house is burning down right next to him, there's certainly nothing wrong with that book.
I like the banters. I do wish they could let us see them in game. Like at the tavern or something. Oh well. Thank you very much for making these videos.
Same, I missed so many banters because I didn't know you needed the characters in your party. Honestly they could have added all the banters regardless if the character was in your party
This is probably just a dumb idea, but when I read Cyrus' dialogue, I can't help but think he might have some form of ASD. High-functioning ASD, of course, but he shows plenty of the behavioral patterns, such as a lack of social understanding, having savant levels of knowledge, and being somewhat one-track minded. And as someone who has Asperger's himself, he has traits that I can relate to, such as reluctance to acknowledge his own talents as anything special or failing to recognize that not everyone shares his ideals.
Well, scholars with humility tend to not think too highly of themselves and always think that there is so much to learn. I can also argue that these “syndromes” are fascinating especially autism. If anything many who have that status seem to exhibit a great deal of patience. If they were taught how to fish, they would live and survive a very long time, more than I can say for an impulsive person like myself...
I would argue that Tressa and Therion might also have ASD or are the very least not neurotypical, considering that they are so caught up in their skillsets that they may have trouble "blending". Tressa sees everything as a business transaction, even when a situation, like a grieving child bullying others, may requires a more tender approach. Meanwhile, Therion acts abrasively partially as a defense mechanism, but as these supports show, he might not be always be aware that his bluntness can hurt others. The only people who seem to be able to blend socially are Primrose, Ophelia, and Oberic, and at least two of them have PTSD and are somewhat disconnected from themselves. All the monster-slaying probably doesn't help.
@@feliciafrench9765 I guess he feels like he's such a great genius. That he isn't bounded by restrictions in social life norms🤔. Perhaps traveling with his companions will make him more sociable, it does help I think.
It's a shame you can only see banter at scripted points with active part members. If you don't know who to have out at each point in the chapter you just can't get them all.
Or you just switch between party members at the tavern and return to the area where they have the conversation after each significant event within the chapter.
Thank you very much for making this video! I love the travel banters so much. I really appreciate that the voices are Japanese in this video. Though the English ones are nice too, I prefer Japanese.
Me too! I just wish the english wording could be more accurate when using Japanese voices... I have to translate things myself sometimes and it's ugh. But I do it because I love the game (:

MY FOCUS IS UNPARALLELED
I love how Primrose disparaged Cyrus's entire way of life, yet, Therion's comment was _too honest_ .

I agree. They're like heart to heart moment similar to Xenoblade Chronicles.

Watching this made me realize..."you know, Scholar Ophilia would actually have been a really good idea in that fight." Oh well...
Just did that chapter myself. Just having ophilia would have been nice.

I thought the same thing! Part of me thought I could just be self-projecting but it's hard to ignore the possibility.

Cyrus Ophilia and Primrose seem to be the three most popular characters
Oh hi There replace Phili with Therion and you've got it. An edgy thief character is literally a recipe for popular

Although i was basing it on the how many people chose Cyrus Ophilia and Primrose which alot did (Especially Cyrus)
I thought Olberic was a bit more popular?`the Youth loves Strong men after all or am i wrong?
Oof, I chose Tressa. ^^;
