My mission statement comes from one of my favorite quotes ever from Scott F Fitzgerald. "I hope you live a life you're proud of, and if you're not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again." The full quote is: "For what it's worth, it's never too late, or in my case too early, to be whatever you want to be. Theres no time limit. Start whenever you want. You can change or stay the same. There are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you've never felt before. I hope you meet people who have a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of, and if you're not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.
My mission statement on Earth is to study the ocean's ecology, discover new forms of life, and share this knowledge with the world so that they (i.e. the general public) can better understand why the ocean is so beautiful and important.
hi kalyn, this year has been the hardest for me, i feel like i've been stuck in dark place with lots of destructive thoughts, but by following your podcasts and koze daily brew, it helped me a lot to get out of that dark place so i want to thank you. You're the only UA-camr whose content i can stick to and you also inspire me to accept and love who i am despite all of my insecurities. i may not find my life mission yet, but hopefully i can find it soon and share it here. Thank you so much Kalyn
I come from a highly dysfunctional broken home in which I grew up without a mother. I am 30, and a momma of 2 a girl and boy. I feel my main mission is to be the mother to my children I did not have. My side mission is helping others be their most authentic self by teaching it to myself first!
My mission statement is definitely to empower others. I have always LOVED talking but especially when it's about the other person. I always want to know about their stories and their life rather than talk about myself. I am currently studying journalism as I want to make it my job to help people have their voice heard. My life goal is to travel the world, writing stories about people you wouldn't normally hear about on tv etc. This starts next year if I get into my exchange to Toronto!! 😊
My life’s mission: Be the most vulnerable and authentic version of myself possible in order to love others and in turn learn to love myself. I’m so happy you’ve made it through this season! It was so fun watching so many of these episodes! You definitely do an incredible job being yourself and letting others know it’s okay to be themselves. I’ve had this thought throughout a lot of your videos and was wondering if you’ve ever heard of the Enneagram? I’ve been so curious to know what Enneagram number you are. I’m a 2 (Helper) and my fiancé is a 9 (Peacekeeper) and it’s just made me wonder what you are having watched so many of these! Even if you don’t tell me specifically, I highly encourage you take it to learn more about yourself. 🖤
What a freaking great thing to watch, today. I got my Masters dissertation back... and I got a distinction. The highest mark I've got on anything so far. I'm a writer, and I want to help others through my writing. I cried happy tears.
My life mantra: To live life with the intention of living life. To be be myself, to enjoy every moment, everything that shapes me into me. And by being myself i hope it can resonate with others to do the same. (Throughout my life I have always been unforgivingly myself. However, I have strayed away sometimes due to insecurity and other things but I have always found my way back to who I truly am. I am only 21 so I still have so much time to grow. But my roots are grounded. For that, I love making connections with people, I am a very open minded and outgoing person so sharing great conversations with a girl I just met at a bar or really anyone, is a thing I do a lot. I think this makes them feel like they can be open as well. So it is quite similar in a way to your mantra. I hope that by being myself others feel that they can do the same around me, and that it gives them strength to always be themselves.)
My mission of life is to make the new generection feel good about themselfs. Im working at a kindergarden and it is so important to me for the little girl inside of me to give my full love and attantion to those amazing kids and remind them to love themselfs and others.. ily. Thank you for this wonderful month❤
Hey Kalyn, I just want to reach out and say that this is a very insightful video that really resonated with me. Speaking as an almost 30 yr old, I think one of the most challenging lessons a young adult undergoes is realizing you can be all to everyone and that is ok. Being your authentic self and presenting that self to the world is not only inspiring but truly impactful and life changing. It’s funny because as you get older you realize that the impact that seems less deep or big at the time are usually the interactions that change someone’s life. Great video and keep being you
I'm an Italian girl living in South Korea...one time I was travelling for work and I came to Toronto...gosh I was so excited to be in the same city as you are lol!! I found your channel so many...apartments ago? 🤣 I really admire your sense of aesthetics and your ability with videos (which is something unfortunately I do not have) but I learned how to enjoy more a good aesthetic through you, thank you for that and for all the lessons that you share 😊
My life mission is to live out my own potential and by that inspiring others to fully live out their potential as well. 💖🌈✨ Also I am here because I love chatting all things life, spirituality, self-help, goals and I am sipping on my cinnamon oat milk latte ☕️😋
Your mantra is working. Thank you for pulling me out of silence, isolation and heartbreak. You have cheered me up more times than i can count, you always have a video out that comforts and enlightens me. I don't think you realize the effect you have. I can't thank you enough. 💛🌙🌟✨
P.s. i am here because i went through several long term relationships including a marriage and their strong personalities overtook and disrupted my life. I needed comfort after losing a four year custody battle. I was broke and broken. And in the end, only our lawyers were satisfied. I took a lot of time reflecting on how little control i had over my existence. It was immeasurable compared to my love for my children. I needed to turn my sadness and silence into something uplifting for myself so that i didn't dissolve into oblivion. I focused on my breathing first. Then writing. Art. Yoga. Nature. I found in your channel, a reflection of not only a girl with values, but someone i could listen to with an open mind. I focused on my own personal growth and mending the pieces of my broken heart. And i continue to do so to this day. So. Thank you for being like a sister to me. 💛🌙🌟✨
I just love your videos kalyn !! ❤️ My mission statement is to help others feel good about themselves and to be inspired!! I just love your videos because you give the best advice at the right time when I need it the most and your so, much like me you always know the best videos and content to come up with I just really enjoy content because it reminds me of myself !! ❤️😊
That is a good question I've been pondering for a good while: what makes me, me? What is my life purpose?? Who am I? While I have these questions, which are great, valuable questions that I do need to ask myself. But, in the mix of trying to find/ search for those answers, I've kinda lost what I already know or have for myself and, even some of the important, valuable things to me. That's kinda where I am at after this video. But, this video was a very eye-opening, video for me. So I thank you so much, Kalyn. It was something I really needed, and something I really resonated with! Love ya.
Hi girl 😊🙏 You seem a bit like me, I’m so down for everything you’ve said in this video. You’re wise beyond your years. I’m 28 and I dunno what it is but from 27-28 something starts to change mentally and it’s a scary but extremely beautiful thing.. can’t explain it but it’s a sense of maturity and not sweating the small stuff. God is good 💓
1. Everything with balance (From food to exercise and work everything should be balanced and not tipped to any extremes with this you can do it all the rest of your life and not get tired) 2. Live life at it's fullest by doing everyday things you love, being with people you love and giving to others a bit of your love but without forgetting about you. 3. Growing is done daily and slowly. Grow towards positive thinking, self-love and love of others. Grow your patience towards yourself and things that surround you. Grow your intelligence and habit of doing thins so you can be more efficient and do everything faster because TIME is one of the most precious things we have. 4. Do to/for others what you want others to do to/for you. 5. Take time, every day, to look at nature, smile and breath. 6. Believe in something higher and more powerful than you that is just made of positive, love and good energy and never is trying to hurt/punish you. I live my life with these phrases in my head. Sometimes I'm not as good in some of them as I like but it's ok because I can start BETTER tomorrow =D
My mantra is: don't spend energy on things you can't do anything about. I always have to remind myself to spend my energy well and prioritize. Being an anxious being, I have to know what I can actually do something about and what natural stresses me out that I can't actually control. Makes life easier to deal with.
My life mission is to bring more good, justice, and empowerment to all living beings. My way of doing this is through music, art, the way I talk to people, and activism. My key focuses are self love, freedom to be yourself and go for your dreams even if that means being wildly different and outspoken, feminine empowerment, awareness of abuse and how to leave situations of abuse, vegan activism, kindness and treating all people with respect with both words and action, and basically all things lifting up the underdog. ❤️
Okay, I have been reading a book called the untethered soul and I am trying to understand the book by actual feeling it but not just knowing it. However, I turn out to be really frustrated and confused. I think about the book content every day while I am at work or at rest. My thoughts overwhelmed me. And everything just looks so complicated to me. Then I turn on the podcast watch your videos as I usually do. And it’s amazing that everything just seems so easy. There is no theory. It’s just life. Thank you so much by telling me this by your video.
I don't have a mantra I think specific in words. But lately I have been feeling as though if I give others what they want they will be happy. But if I give others what I want to give to them, not only will others be happy, I will be happy too. Maybe then I will not feel so drained all the time.
Haven’t fully figured out my life mission statement since I am still just figuring out who I am! But if I had to come up with one for now it would be to radiate happiness into the world. 😊 I’m 20 and thinking of maybe getting into cake decorating as a career but I’m a bit scared to jump into it. I also just want to be and enjoy my early 20s without too much commitment and I’m not sure if I should go for it or give myself time to be young! Love you lots Kalyn you’re so inspirational xx
I love your content on this channel and I really resonate with your life mission statement. I am working on accepting myself and hearing that I'm not alone and I'm not the only one with certain struggles or insecurities has been so helpful. This has changed my life and I want to pass this on to others.
What makes me me...I’m a Libra who loves country music, meditation, a good esthetic, all things in a bakery, and my family. And I’d have to say my mission statement is very similar to yours.
OMGGGG!! I have literally been thinking about what my life's mantra or mission statement would be in the last week or so and here is your VIDEO!! The universe works in such mysterious ways. Thank you for the video!! I'm definitely inspired to sit down and write my own. :)
I personally think you're doing an amazing job at that mission :) And I resonate with it too, I'd like to think that by stepping into my true power - or at least trying and learning how to - I show others it is possible and they can do it too 🤷🏽♀️ This was a great season of Koze daily brews, I like where this is going, thank you!
You've been giving me peace ever since I started watching your channel. So happy you've made this other channel too. I've specially loved your videos where you just talk and give advices. Have I mentioned I'm listening to your podcasts too? 😁👍 So thank you. You're doing a great job!
Can my life mantra be a quote? Because then it probably would be a quote by Kat McNamara :D "Stay true true to who you are and really love what you do - no matter what that may be! Follow your heart, work hard, and don't take no for an answer. If you love it and you want it - chase it, work for it. Anything can happen if you give it a change." Or because this is a bit lengthy in short I think my life mantra is: "Follow your heart, work hard, and don't take no for an answer." I think I picked this right now because every time read it it motivates me to keep going
What I'm watching every morning while drinking my morning coffee 😭 Thanks for these series, would write how they have helped nyt would be a way too long message and not smth I want to write here 🖤 love your both channels 🖤
My mission statement in life is that if I have helped improve the quality of one person's life, I've done my job. My life revolves around helping people and lifting them up. That's why I've become a massage therapist, to help people live their best lives within their bodies. :)
Hi, my opsession currently is taking time for everything that's important in that moment even though its sometimes expected me to do something else, like, i am at my job and really really want to take time for me, and even if i know that's going to be against rulles i do it. And then, i see that that was the best thing i could do. Priorities like you many times mention. I love your videos, just catching up. Btw your New house is bam, keep yourself warm there, be safe! Bye 💯💋🐾
My life mission statement would be: Through love and attention to create space for people. To move through live with curiosity and grace in order to spread love and happiness to those around me. And don’t forget to have fun! Sometime this is very difficult to do and can take a lot out of me. Especially this year I have felt so disconnected from this. I’ve been going through a lot of heartbreak and changes that I don’t necessarily want and sometimes I lose sight of living out this mission statement. When you are feeling sadness and heartbreak it really taints everything you experience in the world. I really hope that by the new year I can move past and out of these feelings so that I can begin living this mission statement again. Thanks so much for your videos Kalyn. And like you were saying in this one sometimes it is difficult to watch your videos and how you live your life and not get sucked into the idea of that is how I should live mine too. Being a UA-camr looks so glamorous and wonderful so it’s easy to get caught up in the idea that that is what I want to do too. However I believe in order to live my mission statement I need to be around other people. I just need to find the balance between creating space for others as well as myself because sometimes I forget to make space for me. 😅 anyway thanks for being you, love you so much. Looking forward to youtober! 💕🎃
Hi Kiayah Nolan - I recently discovered Kayln’s channel and am loving her very real, authentic, direct approach to sharing this information. My personality is a bit different than Kayln’s (although it seems we definitely share some commonalities 🙂) and I just wanted to let you know that I also have a UA-cam channel that covers content similar to what you would find here on channel KOZE. I’d love for you to stop by! : )
My life mission is to make this life and world more beautiful. I'm an artist and I make people happy with what I create. Also I have had some great friendships and that makes the world more beautiful too. And I love to decorate, to make people feel welcome, to have fun and be goofy: this makes people feel beautiful feeli gs and me too. So I guess it's about creating joy and beauty for me
My mantra is'' Happiness is an inside job'' ! With a ballon emoji. The ballon emoji is very important. I quit my job last year and i started a psychotherapy vlog and doing psychotherapy sessions via skype. One year later, i am ready to open my own psychotherapy office after 2 years of doing sessions for free. My life mission is to be the best version of my self, with the highs and the lows and give the chance to people to connect with themselves and their emotions. I am 26, scared AF but no matter what i keep going. My life mission is to help people, help them find comfort into their own body and mind.
After watching the whole video I guess I don't really feel that I have a mission statement for life, but desperately am trying to find one at this point in my life. I'm in a transition period of my life, soon to be 28 years old (November sag child here). I need to collect my thoughts around who I actually am and what I want to bring to this life and earth. Some of the things I want is to make earth a better place to live, in small ways, for individuals around the world. I want people to know their worth and to help others to truly take care of themselves. I want to help others find their own way of the best self care. I especially want to help teenagers, and hope to have a job in the future where I can do some good for people in that stage of life, a very crucial and vulnerable age to be in. I just don't know how yet.
My life mission statement is to always continue seeking knowledge on the things that help others. I will use my knowledge and expertise to guide my interactions with others and promote understanding and application of mental health and wellness.
My mission statement on earth is to give back. Whether it is to serve as a role model for my family, to take part in charities or to actually make a change in technology to help reduce waste.
I feel like my mission statement has just happened into being from a weird habit: someone says "oh I've got to go do an exam" and my sarcastic ass would say "good luck and have fun!" And then "have fun" became something I said a LOT in response to anything, but I mean.... if you're not having fun (or like you don't plan fun after the shitty/boring thing you have to do) then what's the point? Like I'm a big believer that if you're not enjoying something it's because your playlist isn't good enough yaknow? So... have fun ;)
You used to put different quotes in the begining of your videos...I kinda used them for my daily mantra, cuz' I'm watching your vlog in the morning. My favorite coffeetalk😍🤩🤗
I recently just got out of an abusive relationship so I am trying to figure out who i am completely. I plan on going back to school. I have 5 fur babies. I am just creating something not sure what yet.
My manta is 'Make Love Your Goal' - Stolen from the song the power of love by Frankie goes to Hollywood. It sounds cheesy by as a bullied kid I would hear this song and it would get me through the tough times, and kinda stuck with me. My life mission is to encourage people to believe in themselves especially bullied kids, to never give up on a dream and know they ARE good enough.
I wrote this just now on your breakup vid but it has a lot of comments and I don’t want you to miss any opportunity so I’m going to paste it here to in the hope that you read it (even if there’s no response❤️) “I’m about to give you the mean sister talk you don’t want girl❤️ yes I still love you but you gotta hear it. I was with a boy for 1.5 years and we lived 4 hours apart. It was HARD. And just like you said the relationship was at a point where it could have became toxic and it looked like we were going to break up. But I loved this kind and beautiful soul so much, I didn’t want to settle for a breakup. So I compromised and MOVED. Because that’s what relationships are they’re built on compromise, trust and love. You always hear the trust and love part but no one ever talks about how the true back bone is compromise. 5 years later we live in a beautiful house, are engaged and I’m due to have our first child in 5 weeks! Maybe Arthur isn’t your person and that’s ok BUT if you’re waiting for someone who just perfectly slots into your life where you don’t have to change a single thing, you’re going to be waiting a long time girl. Be selfless and selfish at the same time ❤️❤️ best wishes!”
My mission is "feel and make feel" no matter what I just want and know that I am meant to make people feel something whether it is inspiration, happiness, nostalgia... So on and so forth! Just a question: Kalyn what is your enneagram number? I am just curious to know!
Hi kalyn , love all your videos. Just wanted to know that do you really go through comment section as i hv posted so many compliments for you on your video but you didn't replied to any of them. I know i m not the only one doing this you have a lot of people who love you. But sometimes i really wish to get rply from the person who i adorn the most. Anyways you r still my icon. Lots of love n good health to you girl. Stay blessed
I love this! Honestly, I felt like we would be such great friends if I ever met you in person (and I'm planning to move to Toronto next year!), and yes to what you said! I resonate so much with what you have to say every day in all these Koze videos because I feel like we're going through really similar phases in our lives :) I don't have a mission statement at the moment, but this is such a great topic I could sit with and think about for the next few days... Thanks for inspiring!
I'm just discovering my mantra. I was a music teacher until I became sick with Bipolar 1 Disorder. For the last 5 years I've been working at a grocery store until recently, the last 3 months, I quit to take up writing, which I've been doing for the last 3 years (most of the poems were written while I was manic). I put together a book and had it published. You can find it on amazon, barnes and noble (online), and iTunes. I am currently almost done with my 2nd manuscript. So, getting back to my mantra: Do what makes you happy and that you are the commander of your life. Live life to the fullest. (Sorry. That's three mantras) :-)
My mantra: *do everything with love.* and you'll love everything you do.
1 Corinthians 16:14. I have it tattooed on the back of my neck 😄✌
theFitty I love your mantra ❤️

My mission statement on Earth is to study the ocean's ecology, discover new forms of life, and share this knowledge with the world so that they (i.e. the general public) can better understand why the ocean is so beautiful and important.
“Love life, love others, love myself.” I feel like that’s the best way to sum up how I want to go through my life😌
We are the happiest when we live a life with meaning and intention; waking up looking forward to our day! ❤️😊

Sis, YES! This is the greatest lesson I’ve learned in my 20s also!
I don't have a mantra I think specific in words. But lately I have been feeling as though if I give others what they want they will be happy. But if I give others what I want to give to them, not only will others be happy, I will be happy too. Maybe then I will not feel so drained all the time.
Well I love your channels and I get so inspired by you exactly because of your life mission, you make me feel more me🖤
Haven’t fully figured out my life mission statement since I am still just figuring out who I am!
Thank you for the amazing September daily brews☕️. I can’t wait for the first day of Youtober 2019, my fav time of year🧡🧡✨!
kalyn!! this was really beautiful! thank you for sparking that self love in the koze community ✨ sending hugs ❤️
What makes me me...I’m a Libra who loves country music, meditation, a good esthetic, all things in a bakery, and my family. And I’d have to say my mission statement is very similar to yours.
I always found you and your videos inspiring, but now the word in my mind is "relatable".
I have been doing my masters in Radiography which has been really difficult so I want my mission statement to be to be happy and enjoy the journey!
OMGGGG!! I have literally been thinking about what my life's mantra or mission statement would be in the last week or so and here is your VIDEO!! The universe works in such mysterious ways. Thank you for the video!! I'm definitely inspired to sit down and write my own. :)
My life statement is to love others and help them feel known
That's beautiful
I personally think you're doing an amazing job at that mission :) And I resonate with it too, I'd like to think that by stepping into my true power - or at least trying and learning how to - I show others it is possible and they can do it too 🤷🏽♀️ This was a great season of Koze daily brews, I like where this is going, thank you!
You've been giving me peace ever since I started watching your channel. So happy you've made this other channel too. I've specially loved your videos where you just talk and give advices. Have I mentioned I'm listening to your podcasts too? 😁👍 So thank you. You're doing a great job!
I'm still a bit lost, but I like to inspire people, to make them feel something different
That's a beautiful mission statement. Go ahead and do it.
@@RealtalkwithIhuoma thanks I just need to find my way to do it..
What I'm watching every morning while drinking my morning coffee 😭
Thanks for these series, would write how they have helped nyt would be a way too long message and not smth I want to write here 🖤 love your both channels 🖤
My mission statement in life is that if I have helped improve the quality of one person's life, I've done my job. My life revolves around helping people and lifting them up. That's why I've become a massage therapist, to help people live their best lives within their bodies. :)
i appreciate the amount of effort you put in at the beginning of your videos 😍
You finally said love you to the moon and back again and now i feel whole
MY LIFE
COACH ❤️❤️❤️
I reallyove this perspective and haven't thought of it before. Thanks so much Kalyn❤️
My mantra would be: Be authentic and every challenge can be mastered with grace and love.
So I guess it's about creating joy and beauty for me
Every time I get a notification for your videos, I feel blessed!!
My life mission is to help people, help them find comfort into their own body and mind.
hi ! I'm 15 and I just wanna let you know that you are my inspiration
IN THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER I WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT MY MISSION STATEMENT IS AND I4M SO HAPPY THAT YOU DID THIS VIDEO THANK YOU
After watching the whole video I guess I don't really feel that I have a mission statement for life, but desperately am trying to find one at this point in my life.
This was such a great video, thank you for being so true and real ❤️
September brew has been so great and I am excited for UA-camr
I'm so excited to read everybodys missions on earth 😍
My mission on earth is to give a little love to everyone and to create happiness ❤️
My mission statement "Live in an intentional state of love & abundance, in order to create that same state for the rest of the world"
My mission statement is to make cinematic music that brings people closer to God❤💕 and to love others so radically they wonder why✌🌻
My mantra is either
Have courage and be kind
Or
Go big or go home.
Sooo inspired💛👌🏼
Oh my, I just realized tomorrow is October 1st... Youtober starts tomorrow!🤯👻💀🎃🍁 Yay!😄
Omg i love one tree hill so much, i feel connected more you and me💓
Thank you 💗💗
Yess loved this xx
Find happy, make happy, give some happy on the way.
I fu%*^ng love this. Thanks for sharing! Inspiring!
I wrote this just now on your breakup vid but it has a lot of comments and I don’t want you to miss any opportunity so I’m going to paste it here to in the hope that you read it (even if there’s no response❤️)
“I’m about to give you the mean sister talk you don’t want girl❤️ yes I still love you but you gotta hear it.
My mantra: Faith and Love
Trying to find her videos with mention of the book “the subtle art of not giving a f**k”. Does she recommend it?
She does :)
Hi kalyn , love all your videos. Just wanted to know that do you really go through comment section as i hv posted so many compliments for you on your video but you didn't replied to any of them. You're my soul friend and soul sister Kalyn. 💞
Patiently waiting for youtuber 🙌🏼🎃
I love this! Honestly, I felt like we would be such great friends if I ever met you in person (and I'm planning to move to Toronto next year!), and yes to what you said! I resonate so much with what you have to say every day in all these Koze videos because I feel like we're going through really similar phases in our lives :)
I don't have a mission statement at the moment, but this is such a great topic I could sit with and think about for the next few days... Thanks for inspiring!
Can you please do a video on how to show someone you care
I think I’m still figuring out my life statement.... I’ll get bsck to you on that
I’m so ready for youtober 🌚✨♥️
Life mantra: don't forget to tell a story
I really like that
Keep it simple
Life is made up of stories and we are meant to share them with each other
💓
❤️
I'm just discovering my mantra. I was a music teacher until I became sick with Bipolar 1 Disorder. For the last 5 years I've been working at a grocery store until recently, the last 3 months, I quit to take up writing, which I've been doing for the last 3 years (most of the poems were written while I was manic). I put together a book and had it published. You can find it on amazon, barnes and noble (online), and iTunes. I am currently almost done with my 2nd manuscript. So, getting back to my mantra: Do what makes you happy and that you are the commander of your life. Live life to the fullest. (Sorry. That's three mantras) :-)
ok but we're both pisces and we both have chiweenies, tell me that we're not supposed to be besties.
I miss your uploads. Are you ok?✨✨⚡⭐🌟🌠🌙
Talks to fast but says too little
