First off, you nailed this man. Excellent excellent job on it. Second, the train bell or whatever that sound is at the end was a really night touch lol great job 👍👍👍
Really really great job you’ve done! I wasn’t patient enough for learning this cover because I noticed that it would took me definitely to much time to reach that level that you have mastered..Amazing!🤯
Amazing job ! The precision is spot on sounded great. If I could learn the strumming chords to this version I would be happy does anyone know what chords these are and the tuning ??
I'll admit that I clicked on this video thinking "yeah sure, let's see how bad it sounds compared to Luca's cover" Well, I was happily wrong about it, you nailed it!! amazing cover, keep up with the good work :)
awesome!!!!! btw: where did you get the ring? I couldn't manage to buy it and can't in contact with the folks who apparently used to sell it. Wrote them on fb, but no answer? Is that the same thing Luca is wearing or something else that I could maybe get on amazon? thanks
I got it from luca's official site! But yeah mine's actually too big and I have to use foam inside to thicken it out. I wanted a new one and noticed he no longer sells it. Couldn't find any alternatives either. It does kinda look and feel like material often used in 3D printing
holy fuck . Honestly this sounds so much like the original that i doubt you actally played it. If you really did - it's amazing. This is second accurate cover on the whole youtube.
Haha, I am playing it but the audio you're hearing is a 50/50 blend of the original track and audio from the camera. I wanted and tried to record it properly just me, but with my equipment and knowledge it just sounded pure ass
Mate, may I ask you an immodest question: Do you have a private life? I'm joking, a wonderful work, lad! Luca's arrangement is the great chance to check your skills and you did it well. Keep it up!
Hahah, It just took a long time, like 6 months. There's actually not loads of notes to learn, it's just then going super slow and trying to do the whole band thing at once, which I'll often do whilst watching something else etc
The left hand part is difficult but playable with tabs, but how do you synchronize this left with right thumb's drum? It's not easy, I don't know how can one do it without having like two brains!
OMG. YOU ARE THE FIRST MAN ON UA-cam, WHO CAN DO COVER THIS SONG FROM LUCA, LIKE THIS. IT'S WAS AMAZING!!! HUGE RESPECT. Mostly of people also can do cover of this song from Luca, but they do that so bad. And one of important things - it is speed. You have normal speed. Mostly of people play this song sooooo slow. Amesome!!!
У Стэна Кэрила есть запись этого с предысторией, как он это учил) Если кратко, то она очень сложная, и надо буквально ломать мозг) Да, вот она: ua-cam.com/video/k5QPbYMNapI/v-deo.html
Dude, this is amazing. Any tips how to play two separates melodies with two hands? For me it is impossible to do, I feel like my hands are connected togheter and cant do seperate things...
Super, super slowly. Learning this style is unlike any other. For this song particularly you have the main riff which is always there in the verse. You can learn that and play it until you no longer have to think about it. Then you can really hone in on the other melody. But with the technique being new it really is as painful as one note at a time and making sure you're hitting the right percussion at the same time until it clicks
Thank you! I first tried it about a year ago and gave up. I started giving it another go about 6 months ago. But I'm not like a hardcore player, it would just be every now and then I'd learn a section then pick it up slowly. I could not perform it live nearly as well as the recording either still, Luca is another level for being able to do that so consistently
@@ryanbruton7284 You definitely have the talent and the skill to achieve Luca's level. Remember, he didn't get that good overnight. Keep practicing and let your creativity run wild and soon it will be like a dam busting. I can't stop watching this, it's addictive 😍.
Thanks! It's some sort of lightweight plastic, and yeah it really does give off a decent crack. I guess the guitar material would affect the sound as well. Luca doesn't sell them though anymore as far as I can see 😭
This is amazing and all but I gotta say some of what I’m hearing is not lining up with what I’m seeing.. there are some notes I can clearly hear being slid up too and yet I’m watching you hammer on them. So Idk if you recorded at a different time and are just playing over your recording for the video or if you are just using Lucas recording? Either way though great job, this song is crazy difficult.
Thank you! Audio on the video is about a 50/50 mix of camera audio and Lucas original take (example would be I add some snares that aren't in Lucas from bad habits). I couldn't record myself in a high enough quality to solo it
Yeah the audio in the video is a 50/50 mix of my performance and the video. I couldn't find a way to record my raw solo performance without it sounding really bad so layered the original
This video is 99% fake I know that you’ve stated you mixed the original audio from Luca Stricagnoli’s arrangement, but this is still a lie. The original audio does not take up 50%, but more like 99% of this video. The snares you state you mistakingly hit are still audible through the mix due to the snare having a higher volume level anyway, it does not prove that the majority of this audio was recorded by you. I don’t know how this video hasn’t been taken down, but it’s really unfair for Luca Stricagnoli to have his arrangement misused like this, and also for other people trying to cover this song. Below I’ve listed some of the more obvious evidence. 2:41 The bell rings at the end of the video are literally the exact same volume as Luca’s original video. This alone should be the only proof needed, but below are some further points for people who play guitar, or have attempted learning this song. 0:43 All throughout the chorus, one bass line includes a slide up to the 7th fret (9th fret without capo). He does not hit any of these slides, yet the slide is still clearly audible. (Same for the second chorus and final chorus, too. 1:20 & 2:21) 0:49 This is one of the most ridiculous ones. This chord should be stretched with an index bar on the second fret 5th and 6th strings, pinky on seventh fret 4th string, and ring finger on fifth fret 3rd string, yet you completely miss this out. (Same for the second chorus, too. 1:20) 1:38 The first part of this bridge section should be palm muted while strumming (Your hand needs to be by the bridge to achieve this sound, yet his right hand is nowhere near the bridge) 2:04 the chord you hit should include the pinky finger, yet you do not include this note. I’ve only listed the more obvious ones above, but there are countless other sections that do not add up. As someone who has learnt this song, I know almost all the details from the original, and urge you to compare this video with Luca Stricagnoli’s original arrangement. It’s one thing to perhaps have the original playing faintly in the background, but Luca’s original audio literally takes up close to 100% of this video’s audio. Like others have said, no one is going to judge you if you play badly, we all know how insanely difficult Luca’s arrangements are, but just put your original audio on the video and be honest. You do not need high end equipment to record somewhat decent audio, and since you have the budget for multiple camera angles, I can’t see how bad your original audio would be. Just put it on, and don’t rip off the original video. I’m sure you love and enjoy Luca’s arrangements and compositions, just like me and countless others, but you shouldn’t mislead people like this. Please, just be sincere and truthful.
I've listened enough times to that song to know that you didn't play it. Just play it, no one's gonna judge if you played badly, it's almost impossible
Seems a lot of effort to learn every note only to fake it no? Yes as I've commented many times already and also openly put in the description, the audio is a mix of Lucas, and a single take from the recording camera. In my head I didn't like that I couldn't record the song in the quality it deserves, so that was my solution. There's multiple times throughout this video I sometimes hit extra snares that don't appear in the original if you don't believe me
Luca used to sell them on his own website. I actually checked the other day because mine is slightly too big and I couldn't find them anymore, so I guess they've stopped producing them :(
What a compelling lie, man. You could at least try to steal normally, even the sounds of the signal at the end could not be removed..Watch Luca video in end and draw conclusions :)
Sorry you feel that way. As highlighted already, at 1:59 I developed a habit of hitting 4 snares which you won't hear in the original (and a few other places there's extra hits from my performance)
I never thought I’d see a Luca Stricagnoli cover! Like, who could ever? But you did! Fantastic. That’s some master level stuff
