The football in this is the best football i think that has ever existed. The Barca team stuff at it’s best is just not normal for anything to compare to it and then him, the runs, the 50/50’s, the passes, the goals, the amount of people surrounding him and he still gets through and the amount of times in this video he does other worldly things, it’s just not normal, it will never be normalised.

Some greats are elite at 2 of these, some very unique players are elite at 3, but Messi has excelled far beyond what anyone has done before. Most dribbles ever recorded, most assists in history of football, better goal to game ratio then even one of the best goal scores (Ronaldo). He also see’s passes I don’t see and I’m watching it on the telly. He’s the closest to real magic I have seen and has baffled and confused me more times then I can count. He is the peak footballer and has far surpassed anyone in my eyes in all history of football. This guy is a once in a lifetime player, there won’t be another Messi to come for many many years and I find it increasingly unlikely I will see any at his level in my life. 99.999% of people who watch Messi play are bound to fall in love with his exquisite mastery over the ball and I am certainly with them on that but what sets Lionel Messi apart is his humility, when he scores, he gives praise and thanks to God, but when say, Ronaldo scores, he looks for a mirror.
