I have seen KC 2 times. I had a friend who would only listen to him. His music is happy music, we need more of that, but then his sound wouldn't be so authentic!

Interesting, what he said about lyrics. It was very noticeable to me how they were always short and simple, but very effective. The vocal lines also left plenty of room for the horns and other instruments. Well crafted songs.
If I was her, the first second I’d have gotten after him saying he loves the Motown sound, I’d have chimed in with how great his “It’s The Same Old Song” cover version was. I bet she doesn’t even know of it. They ask questions that could be asked of anyone in music! Why not ask things specific to KC’s career! KC rules and it’s just like him to stay goodnatured through all of that.
KC is the very best, so sweet and kind He did answer all the questions The interviewers could of had better questions They didn’t seem prepared But on that being said I love all of KC interviews ❤️

Loved his music back then, but to exasperate the sexual corruption in Miami's youth? He just elevated it..Growing up there, that's just the way it was. Guys just expected a young girl on a first date to have sex with you and no excuses. Then Harry comes along with songs like, "Give it up, Baby Give it up" & "That's the way I like it" it just elevated that Vibe. I'm not saying his music wasn't upbeat? Cos it was! He had alot of Hits one after another & another.
