It was fun because of learning curve and the game overall felt like it's being taken care of, now WG just does the bare minimum in order to maximize monetization. Things like overall making the game noob friendly is actually destroying it for us ye' olde players, they know that we know how the game works and we don't give them money, so they need new unexperienced players to buy their *new tier 8 premium* so they think it'll help them in the game, and then they leave after they realize. Free money for WG.
8:37 I had similar situation while shooting at hull down Kranvagn with FV 215b (183). I wanted to shoot in his general direction hoping to do some splash dmg, knowing i wouldn't pen it anyway. I hit exactly the top of the turret (he was aiming at me so it was just a pixel) for almost 2k.

i have 2011 account and i don't know how to play. A lot of things was clearlier and just better in 2011-15. I had a pause for 4-5 years and now i started again - things changed too much. Too many op old/new prem tanks, very poor balance and the only thing that happens is auto lose or auto win with a 15/3 score.
I wonder how long your patience for this game will last. I don't know what's in the future for ya, but maybe you might see yourself putting time in another hobby and avoiding this game
