Love the sailboat -- QUESTION -- There seems to be a few really good years for models of Jeanneau and for Benateau and yours is one of them. Is your floor grid/frame glued down or is it tabbed and fiberglassed in?

@@JohnnyDanger36963 so sorry that you missed the relevances, of product evaluation. I own a yacht, I am outfitting this yacht with products for my enjoyment/comfort/sustainability. This stuff means a lot to me, and many others. If you want to see bikini’s, there are a lot of other channels. If you want to see underwater photography, there are other channels. If you want good information, and an honest evaluation on the products that you might use, there is Captain Rick, and, Sailing Sophisticated Lady.
I really appreciate what he does, I care about his family and his health. But, then again, I’ve been watching him for well over five years, to learn the ins and outs of this lifestyle. The snide comments ( cryptoscalpers), really miss the mark. Dont care if you dont like my comments, try not to be a “carnival duck”, so hard. People like me, will pop your little duck, like Annie Oakley pops dimes.
Air Conditioner -- QUESTION -- Rick, could you lay the AC unit flat like a pizza but put it into a spare fiberglass life raft container and place it on the deck in front of the window (like Hallberg Rassey places theirs life rafts), This setup would better protect the AC unit from splashes and, importantly, disguise the unit. A circular ventilation hole could be cut into the bottom and top of the life raft container to allow the needed AC air flow - if you keep the cutout it could be made into a "hatch" and when the AC is not in use or when traveling, you could close that "hatch"/door on the top of the box. Of course, the unit would have to be raised a few inches off the deck for air circulation, but the specs show only four inches are needed. You could, of course, buy a real hatch and attach it to the top of the life raft box and open and shut it as needed when sailing or needing protection. Might be a nice solution to complete the mini-split AC setup.
