Great fun/competition there guys. Unbelievable silver dimes and half dimes (even the SLQ). Brad got sat down and stood up, and 4 half dimes (3 capped bust) in a single hunt! You guys never cease to amaze!
Kurt, you should RELABEL this episode the Brad and Kurt SILVER SHOW!! It seems that Bill and Chris were just along for Moral Support!! Although they did get a couple of INTERESTING RELICS!! CONGRATS to ALL!! NamVetLesTreasureSeeker.
I owe you guys a huge thank you. I have been metal detecting for about 3 years now and have yet to find a silver coin. I hadn’t gone out in a while and after binge watching your videos this week i decided to fire up the AT, do some research and hit some old sites near me. After about 15 minutes of swingin at my first site i pulled out a 1944 D Washington quarter and was absolutely ecstatic all thanks to you guys and your videos. Can’t wait to get out and dig more! Keep up the good work and happy digging!
You all have reallly helped me with identification of coins, cool how you put up those examplle pictures and the mintage time frames. Thank you and happy hunting!!
Nice video, great finds and I really enjoyed seeing the trash that we all dig added to the end. Everyone digs junk and can relate to those few minutes.
Dang!!! I wish I lived in your area. I'm excited with my 1906 V-Nickel and 1942S Lincoln. Can you imagine how stoked I would be with just a Barber??? Great hunt.......you should have a contest, an invitation to hunt with the Hoover Boys!! Count me in!!
This is one of the funnest, entertaining, well directed, well edited and inspirational videos yet from THB. Inspirational to the metal detecting hobby as it makes others want to get out there and swing a coil. Inspirational to video makers because it sets a standard and makes others want to be as creative with their own productions. Others try and do quite well but you have indeed set a standard to follow. Inspirational to me as a person because it influences me to gather up my close friends (who are mostly Veterans of the U.S. military), put a detector in their hands, get outdoors and have an enjoyable day together sharing the camaraderie of this particular hobby. I must say “well done” and looking forward as always to the next THB video vlog. PS: I had to watch it twice already because I wanted to view your video on the big screen in our family room and boy what a difference it makes to have the details of your finds “POP OUT” at you as they do on the larger screen.👀👍👍🇺🇸
Great finds guys! I also saw you had thin blue line and thin red line on your truck, thank you. I know you are a firefight and I wanted to thank you for you're service as my father was a police officer. You guys risk you're life's everyday.
Great Hunt Guys. Very Nice Silvers. Awesome buttons. Loved the one upping. Got me fired up seeing that field hunt. I can only hope to get at least one piece of history or a coin this weekend. It has to work. Bringing my New DD Coil and New FOO FOO Juice Bottle.Going back to the 1850's - 60's farm fields permission this weekend just up the street from me. Started late last fall an dug a lot of trash so far. It was the largest privately owned parcel in my town in the (1866) maps that I have found and my street is named after the owner from back then. The home parcel has been separated (Owners) from the fields and am still working on permission for the home site though. Keep them Videos Coming. Absolutely love them. GL and HH
I simply love, "Coins in the cornrow comedy hour", with the Hoover Boys. LOL You really rocked it this time. It made me think some guy back in the day sat on his horse and threw out dimes for the peasants. Either that or some poor sod got a hold of too much barley-corn, tripped, and emptied his purse on the ground. Great finds in spite of the wind. Thanks a million!
Great silver day guys! I’m always amazed at how much you guys can pull out of a field. I’m anxious to see your hunt from New Hampshire. Thanks as always and HH!
Those really small washers are rivet burrs. I find these and the whole rivets too. I dig in some Waianae Plantation Shop equipment rubbish, from the mill, in use 1878-1946. I've found coinage 1872-98 in the main vein. A lot of WWII era trash seems to have been removed, probably in 1957. Feeling sorta tapped out, last bottle last Mar., a Waialua Soda ABM of about 1915 or so. I'm still digging, wish me luck!
Thank you all for the continued support!!
