I can't imagine how stressful and life shaking it must have been for all of you. Maiko, you are so brave to endure such emergency and pain so calmly. I hope you will recover quickly and well. All the best for the three of you.
I really enjoyed watching this video. I actually had a very similar situation recently-at the end of May I had to have unexpected gallbladder removal surgery and was in the hospital for 4 days away from my 9 month old and 4 year old. Daddy was at home being single dad with both kids and it was tough for all of us. I actually found that video calls made it worse and made the kids more upset that mommy wasn’t home. Glad to see you are on the mend Maiko. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
(I'm Maiko) Omg I totally understand what you went through😭 Two kids, not one made it probably even tougher as well! After watching the footage of Wolfy talking to me, I can see he was trying not to cry and made my heart broken... Kids are being strong as well! Thank you so much for your sweet message anyways💕
My wife travels for work. When our children were little, those trips were hard all around. I think it’s hardest on the parent away for having to contend with the feeling that they should be with the child/children. On a related note, I found that _My Neighbor Totoro_ (「となりのトトロ」) is a very different emotional experience rewatching it after having children. (Bring tissues, if you haven’t tried this yet.)

I’m glad Maiko’s surgery went well, hope she can make a speedy recovery!
Get well soon and have a great recovery, Maiko! I had to be hospitalized recently for similar issues and am also having surgery to correct it. You guys are amazing and she's such a strong person. Don't worry about the video schedule, we'll be right here when you get back. Health and family are top priority and since it feels like you're part of our families it's priority to us as well.
sounds like possibly an ectopic pregnancy....................
@@andreanittel2240 I didn't want to speculate on her condition but it sounds like uterine fibroid or some sort of cyst rupture.
Sending well wishes. 💕 you guys are doing amazing . Please always remember that. My son is 8 now but watching your young family reminds me of my husband and I during the first few years. It's always an adventure. Be kind to yourself , your online family will be here no matter what .
Maiko - So happy you are home! Much easier to recover in your own bed!
How anyone can spend so much time in a hospital, have major surgery & the stress of such ordeals & still look as beautiful as you do is amazing!
Physical beauty & inner beauty!
Love from Southern California!
wolfie's "kiwi kiwi" @ 14:11 and his "mmm" expressing his love for it @ 14:16 is absolutely adorable

Maiko!! OMG, so sorry to hear you had to go through surgery, twice! Sending you lots of positive vibes from Canada and wishing you a speedy recovery ❤❤❤
That must have been quite frightening to go through. So glad to see you're back home with your boys 🙂
This video felt very real and gave some nice insights into real hardships that you and your family experience. Thank you for sharing something so private with us.
I hope everything's good now!
Also, wow, Japanese hospitals seem almost like hotels with everything you could possibly need... In the typical hospitals in my area it's just a school lunch type meal every night and a bathroom 🥲 and you're not typically allowed to leave your room
Although I know some hospitals are even worse
Yes, in New Zealand we are at the people sitting in chairs in hospital corridors stage. People dying in hospital carparks after they are turned away. Its grim here as staff bail out to other countries( we have stringent vaccine mandates here)
@@breebw the hospital I work at has a waiting room and sometimes it's packed with people and even with that they're trying to accept so many patients that they have them on stretchers outside of rooms in the hallways 😮💨 it's crazy
That's what private hospital look like. Most typical hospital in Japan like everywhere else in other countries.
@@enigmaarcs8559 ahh, makes total sense! Thanks for saying that
Nah Paolo, thank you and Maiko for sharing a slice of y’all’s lives once in a while. I hope she has a speedy recovery!
I love all videos of Tokyo zebra……Please take care of your family Paolo….Blessings to Wolfy…..Please get well soon.
Thank goodness Maiko is okay, wishing her the quickest recovery ❤️🩹
Best wishes to Maiko, I hope for a speedy recovery! 💜 Thank you for sharing all things about your life & Japan with us. I love the country, language (I am learning so it also helps me with my study of Japanese) and even though I am a fairly new subscriber I really enjoy the content, be it your daily life or other series. Dōmo arigatōgozaimasu!
Oh my! Maiko, praying for a speedy recovery for you. My son is about Wolfie’s age … hard being away from them. But it sounds like dad and son are holding down the fort. Please rest well and I empathize with your feelings of needing that village to support you when there’s an emergency. You’re a champ for arranging his care with the nursery before your surgery!!
Esperemos tu esposa se recupere lo más pronto posible, y tu y tu familia tengan buena salud 🙏🏻
Sending well wishes for a quick recovery. ❤️
Thank you so much!
Thank you for sharing your life with us, the good, the bad, and the scary times.
Praying for a super speedy recovery from Los Angeles! Maiko is such a strong mama. 💐🙏🏽💜
I'm so glad everything turned out ok with Maiko. Wolfie is so adorable and smart 😊 and you really kept it together dad!
How smart is he if he is still not housebroken???
@@robsab20 first I will say a dog gets housebroken not a child. When he's ready and his parents are I'm sure he will have no problem!
Take good care of your family- we can wait. Wishing her a speedy recovery and peace.
I’m really hoping you are all fine. You are all really great people. Im glad you did share what you’re doing with your son. Your followers want to see! And of course we are glad everything worked out. Take care of Maiko!
