Thank you for these videos ! I'm somewhat new to chamberlain I start fundamentals next term so I've been trying to figure out how there going to be doing it online. :)
Loveee! Were you working whiles being in nursing school? I wanna do it but I don’t know how to go about it
I’m studying for the HESI right now and so nervous !
Don’t be nervous, you got this! Make sure you focus on the sections you are most removed from (as in your haven’t recently taken classes in them) and also there are a ton of Hesi support groups on Facebook if you wanna pick some brains going through it too! 💜
@@MelisaMarie omg I passed!!!
Yaaaay! Congratulations love. 🥰
@@MelisaMarie can I ask are Apple watches allowed in chamberlains nursing school
Typically in all nursing schools you can’t use any digital watches, that includes fitbits too. You should have an old school watch with a second hand ticking on it.
Hi. Awesome video. I'm starting my program in January and our schedule looks similar. How is the course work load and managing 2 classes with clinicals in an 8-week period? Is there a ton of homework and does it get stressful?
Thanks for watching! It’s really not bad managing, so long as you aren’t obligated to work or have home duties. It becomes stressful when you have to juggle home life. There are a lot of assignments yeah. Most of them are set up in a way where you can knock them al our early, so that is what I tend to do when I can. You don’t have clinical for all classes tho, a lot of classes are just lecture based. I think the way chamberlain does it... they only allow for 1 clinical class to be taken per session.
It gets stressful of course, nursing school is a stressful thing. 😂 lol. But it’s manageable for sure. Gotta pay attention to your body and classes and plan accordingly.
How are clinicals set up? You travel to clinical state? Do you pick what state ? And is it set up every 8 weeks or same period as you take your didactic you travel ?

Oh I love the fruit basket please tell me where you got it 😂❤️

Can you explain how were you able to pay for this program
I’m in the process of applying to chamberlain. I take my hesi Monday pray for me 😩
You’ll do greeeeat! Let me know how it goes!
@@MelisaMarie I passed now I’m just waiting for them to accept me 😊
@@MelisaMarie Have you taken and kept your notes from Day 1? I just want to make sure I’m successful lol
@@Lexusfordd what sections did they focus on for your HESI exam? As in, what sections does Chamberlain expect you to score well in..
@@madamecharlote I focused on my weak spots which was math and science. But I swear if you use the Hesi Book you will pass. I studied that for like 3 days. But I also work in the medical field which helped me also.
Do you know how the semester is broken up by? It’s confusing. 3 semesters, 2 sessions? Like how does it work?
3 semesters, 6 sessions. One semester is broken up into 2 sessions. So basically think about it as fall one (September-ish) and fall two (November ish). Sessions are usually 8 weeks each, for a full semester of 16 weeks.
Yes honey
What semester are you in? I am just finishing my second one
I am in my 4th semester and 8th session, now!
@@MelisaMarie how you liking it still I am in my 6th session now I think taking pharm and fundamental 2 ! Doing clinicals as well..
I’m trying to do the online BSN program? But I’m worried that I won’t feel confident enough to practice when I graduate.
If you’re gonna be solely online, I’d recommend getting a tech/nurse extern job or volunteering so that you may get more exposed to patient care settings. You’ll learn to have confidence, sometimes you just fake it til you make it. 🤍
@@MelisaMarie ok, thank you!
Like the hair can you send me the link where you brought the hair from plz
m.divaswigs.com/2841-new-curly-quick-easy-headband-150-density-indian-virgin-human-hair-wig-hb002.html it was here! It but it definitely didn’t come that light, as you can see.
It’s the “don’t say nothing to me about target” 🤣🤣 look.. whatever you bought, you needed
People keep coming for me over it. I accept my faults, just love me. 🙈
@@MelisaMarie 😂😂
Pls do a video on your expierience @ Chamberlain ! I am considering it for my BSN :)
Coming up! 💜
I love this video! I’m applying for their online program
Good luck babe!
hi! may i ask what ur stats were? i recently applied to chamberlain and the admissions committee is reviewing my application right now but my GPA is only a 3.4. my hesi though is a 92% so im hoping that will be enough to put me through!!! thank you ☺️
Hello love. My stats were very similar to yours. I show/say them in one of these videos. Not sure off the top of my head. But I’m sure you’ll be fine. Good luck!
@@MelisaMarie thank you so much!!!
You’re very welcome. :)
I was thinking about how those wigs were staying on peoples heads?😏🧐 I thought they had clips in it! I’m glad I didn’t get one 😏
I think other brands do! Just not this particular one. I am still salty about it, 6 months later lmao.
@@MelisaMarie I see! Lololo😜
I start in May any advice would be helpful
Firstly, congratulations dear!! Make sure you get yourself organised from now, schedule wise. Put yourself into a routine. Get an agenda calendar. Make sure you let your friends and family know that school needs to be top priority the next few years and to not guilt you for being busy.
What state is the school in im trying to find one online
They have multiple campuses - over 20 - across the country. Where are you located?
Are all the classes online
They are, due to Covid. But we are transitioning back to in person studies.
Do we need white shoes for lab?
Yes ma’am, that’s the uniform requirement.
Do they have online evening classes ?
They do have evening and weekend programs, depending on the campus. As far as online the RN to BSN programs is usually online. For the full BSN program, its usually in person. This isn't an online school, we were just online due to covid.
Do you do clinicals online or in person
Typically in person but its been online due to Covid.
How do ya take the exams ?
On my computer, via protorio or lockdown browser. If its a make up exam, it has to be on campus.
How are the exams like online?
The exact same as any other exams. Can be difficult depending on your personal situation (kids at home, needy husband etc) but it’s no different. I loved it.
I didn't think that Chamberlain had classes that you needed to log in at specific times for? I'm looking into Chamberlain, but I don't think I can log in at set times😒
What program are you applying for?
Are they doing all classes online
Yes, its been online since March 2020 and so far we are scheduled still online through September 2021 session. It may be pushed back even more but only time will tell.
