Car had misfire codes P0301, etc and P0356 cam timing malfunction.
Before replacing the rear timing chain tensioner for the cam gears, follow this video to check a few other things.
Also, watch to see whether you should buy a aftermarket tensioner or a genuine Audi tensioner from the dealer. This is important.

Thanks for this. I just bought an a4 b7 with this exact engine and have problems with misfires on bank 2 (right side) even after replacing spark plugs and coils. Sadly though I no longer have compression on cylinders 4 and 6. I got a borescope inside and realised the valves were hitting the top of the pistons. So I'm going to rebuild the head and I will get genuine audi tensioners for the chain.

2006 a4 3.2 will run rough about once a day and engine light will flash. I’m showing cam shaft sensor codes & misfire codes. Did the tensioner fix these problems?

I'm pretty certain that what you're showing is not the camshaft sensors, rather the camshaft solenoids.

I have a open circuit on a fuel injector
Very unlikely. These injectors are very reliable
@@DebtFreeCars that's the code at the moment Open circuit injector 4 and I have multiple misfiring after doing spark plugs and coil packs still did my valve cover gasket my vvt solenoids
Idk only codes are multiple misfiring and open circuit injector 4 and idk if it my timing chain they said it is good
@@DebtFreeCars you think it's the timing chain and I know my motor mounts are bad also I know my fuel pump is going it won't show gas mileage needle test shows needle works but fuel pump only showing 5 volts at wire guy said it's bad and the thermostat leaking coolant so about to do that got a new fuel pump just gotta install it and raw fuel makes white smoke I passed the gasket test only thing left is a open injector a lil bit of white smoke out right pipe only and injector four is on that side I believe gonna do 02 sensors see if misfiring go away or maybe wrong plugs or coils vacuum leak also idk wtf that is maybe I need a intake gasket

@@DebtFreeCars u mean valve cover gasket yeah intake no and for some reason I can't find my crank case vent
