If you purchased your domain directly from Shopify instead of a third-party website, the process of editing your DNS (Domain Name System) settings remains straightforward and streamlined within Shopify's platform. Shopify provides an integrated dashboard where you can manage all aspects of your domain settings. To edit your DNS settings for a Shopify-purchased domain, start by logging into your Shopify admin dashboard. From there, navigate to the "Online Store" section and click on "Domains." Next, locate your domain name and select the option to manage its settings. Shopify offers a user-friendly interface where you can update DNS records such as A records, CNAME records, MX records, and TXT records as needed. These settings are crucial for various purposes, such as connecting your domain to third-party services, setting up custom email addresses, or directing traffic to specific web servers. Once you've made the necessary changes to your DNS settings, Shopify handles the propagation of these changes across the internet, ensuring your domain functions correctly with your Shopify store and any linked services. If you encounter any difficulties or require specific guidance, Shopify's support resources and help center provide detailed instructions and troubleshooting assistance to help you navigate the process smoothly.

Hi there's I don't have the domain tab on my shopify store. Do you know the reason why? I've a purchased Google domain that I'm trying to connect to my shopify store. Thanks
@@adplays7261 it’s makes your sights secure so it’s HTTPS rather than HTTP, so if your sight isn’t secure is has that thing in the corner saying it isn’t secure, and it deters customers
When I try to connect my domain, it won't let me, says "already connected to a Shopify store".. but I am the one that owns it. And it says I'm NOT connected. Very confusing. Shopify should not have made this so complicated. It was really easy to connect a different domain to my Wix store....
