Love these new ET44ACH’s. Good sounding horns and pretty new paint job. Great video Darryl 👍❤️That was one of the longest trains I’ve seen in a long time. And how about that other train with 7 units on the head end! Love it!
I LOVE GE LOCOS, you can see their larger radiators, much better. In my railroad work l grew to love GE's, thats is why they overwelmingly own mainline class 1 railroading. I still have a place in my heart for old EMD SD40'2's.
@@KCTopDawg: Thanks for your response. A few days ago I watched a video of a coal train with 152 hoppers, two BNSF locomotives up front and two in the back. I was moved by the power of those four locomotives and the snake-like movements of the train going over a mountain pass! Keep making your movies. I wish you well! Goodbye!
Those brand new BNSF es44ach and et44ach locomotives are so awesome man and Darryl my buddy your video rocks dude this is so cool bruh you rock so rock on brother

NS needs to purchase new power too. Everyone seems to have forgotten about EMD's SD70ace T4's. UP, CSX and Progressive Rail leasing are the only users.
@@KCTopDawg I could be wrong, but I have read that CSX has returned its 10 SD70ACE-T4s. On WABTEC, I am surprised that they just don’t go ahead and build all of their locomotives with rear anti climbers and standardize this feature. I would not be surprised if the new CPKC locomotives look like NS because they very likely will have rear ditch lights and the NS units have a rear anti climber along with the rear ditch lights. CN has the rear ditch lights without the anti climber, but why not standardize and bring down the cost? CNs rebuilt AC44C6Ms have the rear lights and the anti climber, and I don’t understand why the ET44ACs don’t have the rear anti climbers as well. I’m sure CN wouldn’t object to having them on their units, and I really don’t think any other road would either. All of the latest EMD/Progress units have them an no one complains.
The bigger the engines the more cars to pull. Isn’t the rr pushing for longer trains? Isn’t there a rule that limits the length of one train Being pulled or can have helpers 1/2 way & a helper or two I at the end?
My gut feeling is that future orders of these heavy locomotives will have three dynamic brake grids. CSX, NS, QNSL, and UP heavy GEs all have three grids, except the first UP heavy order, which had only two grids. UP then switched to three grids on subsequent orders. Their GE rebuilds are also receiving three grids.
@@KCTopDawg How could I have forgotten to mention the KCS heavy belles? Yes, they also have 3 grids. Let’s see if CPKC adopts 3 or 2 grids. I bet on 3.
Ferromex heavies have 3 grids too. I could be wrong but I think that MRS and RUMO in Brazil also have heavies. But all their AC GE/WABTEC units have 3 grids anyway.
I apologize to Iowa Interstate fans for forgetting their heavies, 3 of them have 2 grids, 17 of them have 3 grids, including beautiful Rock Island 514.
Since the Florida East Coast is owned by Grupo Mexico just like Ferromex, maybe future new units for them will be 3 grid heavies. I’d love to see them in the champion scheme!
I just love those shiny new silver trucks along with the freshly painted ET44ACH units, awesome!💯👍🙂

@made-in-the80s Wonder why it is taking this long for Caterpillar to sale this locomotive. Couldn't they just use credit T3 components.
