This park is one of the parks we hit every year. We stay in the pet loop, which is where we will be this coming Monday through Friday (site 80). Some sites in the pet loop are very shaded, some aren't. If you want a nice experience next time, find a way to drive 14 miles to Clear Creek State Park. We used to camp there when we had a smaller TT. We now have a 5th wheel and can't fit in the dog section. We will go over mid-week and hike on their trails. I agree with your "point s given" for the campground. We usually do FHU, but water would be a challenge here. We have actually let campers fill their spigots from our site because of the difficulty. Their shower / bath houses could be updated. Otherwise a great park, thanks for sharing!!
