I still can't believe The Fun Pimps' shamelessness. It's been ten years since they started to develop the game and it is still an unoptimized mess and they have the gall to rename Alpha 22 to "1.0". This new update better be a total rework of the game's code and gameplay mechanics for it to be called "1.0". And I sure hope they won't call it a day after 1.0 drops and stop developing the game.
The people that made ark survival evolve are even more shameless in my book. Those tools charge 60 usd for an unfinished game. Still buggy as hell.
I think that you're right: I've also noticed that the trader restock to pretty much the same items they had last cycle. Also, 2 of the same trader type will have more or less the same inventory every restock cycle - I haven't bothered to check whether it's identical but it's awfully close usually... so yeah, TFP considered this a bug in early A20 and removed it - apparently it's advanced to feature now.
Yeah, tons of great features like cops spitting through walls, invisible zombie swings/instant crouch, the garbage magazine system, and so much more. Kinda makes sense they're increasing the price and rereleasing with all these extras...

I’ve noticed it too, it may have showed up a few updates ago? It wasn’t like that in the beginning of Alpha 21 though I know that much, I was enjoying the traders back then.
I use a 9m with the clip extender and the silencer and the full auto mod and it rocks better than just a plain ole 9m.
honestly there are things that spawn in the trader at times when they shouldnt. I have seen solar cells spawn early game when you have no money to buy them. but late game when you want them they no longer spawn. even though your trader level is higher. I have spend countless days trying to go to all the traders on the map looking for solar cells to rarely find them. I have since put a mod in my games to actually make them once I get high enough electrical. I just hate how the trader works at times. you never seem to find what you really want in them. take the drone healing mod. it used to spawn in trader jen as she is the resident Dr. yeah hardly see it there any more. the traders NEED an overhaul.
Cheesecake on a good day, butt-cake the rest of the time. The pimps are some of the most unlikable dev's that I've come across in their interviews. Heaven forbid you criticize any aspect of the game on the forums, the so called 'mods' crawl so far up your rear it's unbelieveable. They curse you out and call you names then say it's within policy because its covered up with little hearts, then they send nasty dm's. Not a good crew of people. That's not counting the white knight brigade, almost makes you think that theres a groupf of 4-5 forum dwellers on pimp payroll. They even go after negative reviews with the nasty brigade.
Half an hour trash talking about the game and the conclusion: if you want a 7dtf Server... I don't think I want it now. 😂😂😂

Loot is definitely off. My playthru i am not crafting. And only vehicle reward i got was a bicycle. Day 98 amd still no vehicles for sale at any vendor and no vehicle bundle rewards

I’ve given up on vanilla cake and I just watch other suffer having to eat it 😂 I’ve moved on to a different baker that makes the crap vanilla cake taste like chocolate by adding demons and lasers 😅
I think you could use some mods to spice up the game for you tbh. Doesn't need to be anything fancy like any of the big overhauls, but personally just adding a couple additional gun mods has drastically improved my enjoyment of the game.
Also, this slander against the flavor of vanilla cannot stand! Vanilla doesn't "taste like nothing"! It has a depth and richness all its own! It is not a "lesser" flavor compared to others, it stands equally among them!
That cake metaphor might not be perfect, but it still works well.
Loot cars for Vehicle Adventures. They seem to be quite rare, but after 80/100 the chance is boosted greatly
In my opinion loot every single car in city is the fastest way to go from 80 to 100 in Vehicle Adventures department

God I hope they replace the gyro copter in the 1.0 patch.
The gyro is cool. Its main drawback is that you can't install a second seat. I love to land it everywhere, but most of my friends hate its controls and keep using slow motorcycle(

Lack of items/weapons and skill books are what i hate about this game.

The books for 9mm are what make it usable.
if they made it so crafting an item would give you a free book for that item and maybe make each item slightly better with each book you read because right now it's kinda pointless crafting stuff because you might as well just wait till you find it in loot
That's essentially the Learn by Doing system. I think it would be better than what we have currently, but the Devs don't have any real direction for the game. Too many hollow mechanics have handicapped the replayability. Like zombies just being bullet sponges and spawning when you walk into a room. Deeper mechanics that would make you think about how you want to go about achieving goals in the game aren't going to happen. Artificial difficulty has made it naturally difficult to desire playing more.

I was going to comment under your previous video about my experiences with the trader loot, being that I noticed the exact same thing. I thought my game was bugged or something. I leveled to 72 in the wasteland, spent many harrowing days and nights looting under the cover of darkness just to find the stuff I needed to complete my build because Jen's inventory never changed one bit the entire time, but with one exception. Early on I bought 13 iron ingots from her because I needed it to make a wrench. She never restocked iron ingots again. I invested no points into Better Barter because I didn't see much point. I got better loot from tier 1 POIs and trash heaps.
Kind of to be expected from a game whose intro stutters.
Also, regarding your cake analogy: You get one slice per year, on or around your birthday, it's the same cake so it just gets staler and staler with each passing year, and you can see where they licked the frosting off before sending it to you.
I bought the cake 6 years ago thinking they were just about to put on the icing (story and bandits). Yep, any day now and we’ll have an actual cake…
