Great video. A new, unique way to do the skin tones. And best of all I believe I could actually try this and pull it off. I look forward to watching the rest of your content.
I used your icy basing tips for an icy my gargant/giant army a few months ago, as well as my Mournfang army, and after not seeing any videos from you for a while, I'm very happy to see you covered my favorite modesl from dominion! The poisoned blades I think could go a long way in making my own boys look unique and more detailed, and I really am looking forward to that particular video. Good luck with your future battles and paint projects!
You basically done what I want to for my Orruk Warclans/Hobgrots. My way of doing it was going to be Ionrach, Coelia Greenshade then Deepkin Flesh highlights I dunno what the last highlight would be though. I was inspired by the Locust from Gears of War.
I actually tried one with Coelia Greenshade and you do get a slightly more teal color. Just mix the Greenshade with Ionrach or Deepkin Flesh for a highlight color.
Wowwww, this type of skin scheme looks awesome, gonna try that out too. And by the way, glad to see you back on YT. Thought your channel is dead, since I saw your cool ice effects video with the orruks months ago and nothing more for months now. Stupid me also didn´t realized, that you are on instagram! haha xD /follow
Thank you! Yeah my channel is more often in state of hibernation. It's very rare that I can put my painting into a coherent recipe since I make up most of what I do as I go along. That and my sub par video making skills means that it takes me absurdly long time to make a video which results in lost painting time 😅
Fantastic as always. Will you be painting the kruleboyz an icy theme. The bad moon shields will look amazing in a frosted blue like your orruk armour. I kinda copied your armour style but kept the skin green, only because my pale skin didn't look as good as yours 😭 My 6 yo daughter loved my armour and was shocked when I said I watched a lady paint hers like that. I think her mind was blown that it's not just hairy men painting toys 😀 Looking forward to how you paint up the kruleboyz, especially the snagtooth geezer.
Lovely :-) Brb buying concealer brushes!
My Queen is back 🤘 brilliant video yet again Mistress of ice and fire and Queen of the dry brush and I can't wait for the rest of the videos .
Aw thanks Jules! I can always count on you to make my day 🥰
I like this scheme quite a bit. Simple, but lots of contrast between skin tones.
I like this skin tone a lot, I might end up using this for all the kruelboys
I love this skin tone. I will use this for my Kruleboyz. I hope we see the video for the armour panels soon.
Can't wait for Part 2 with the armor & other details ! :D

Thanks so much! Really glad you found it helpful 😀

Great result with some cool techniques, don't have much experience with contrast paints so I will have to try them out!
Thank you for sharing this, its greatly appreciated!!!
Wow, that turned out great, very useful tip with the medium too.
Let's gooo new vid !!
Great vid and they look fantastic!
Might use this green skin tone for my hobgoblins.
Awesome thanks for this. I can definitely envision getting all these guys done with a process like that.

I Like your videos very much. Reduced to what's important. No bla bla ^^

Awesome! How did you do the armour panels?
Perfect job ! Really need the armor plates now 😀
