Had this same lip. It’s a must to put extra 3m and make sure you heat it up like he did. If you don’t put enough tape then at high speeds the self tapping screws will get loose and fall out.
1,000%. Heating it up is crucial in my opinion. Especially on a colder day like the day I installed it

It looks so good! But as a 435i owner, it’s so low😂Try getting an APR front splitter to put underneath to protect it.

Did the self tapping screws hold the lip pretty good? I heard with time the lip can fly off as u drive, I do alot of driving in the freeways.
So far I’ve been good! And I went pretty fast with it. But I have heard self tapping screws tend to lose over time. Although I put a lot so I’m not too worried. If you wanna play extra safe, put some bolts instead.

@@ayyyman_ I opted not to go through the headache of constantly replacing a full front lip. It does look good but it’s not worth the headache in my opinion, especially on a daily driver
@@stephenlozano2816 I definitely don’t disagree with you! I just wanted that extra aesthetic umph on the car for when I take it to car shows. Otherwise, yes it’s probably not worth the constant fear of scraping or breaking the front lip
