Great catches & video! Friendly crews definitely adds to a great railfanning day! It seems that Wabash Ave sees a good amount of freight traffic. I might just check it out while I am down here. Are there any times/days you recommend going there to get the most acttion?
@ZachTheRailfannerYT Thanks! It sure does! And yeah, Wabash is a great spot, and Lakeland in general sees a lot of trains daily. It's my favorite spot to railfan in Florida. I recommend going on a Monday, that was when I saw all those trains. Monday seems to be a busy day for CSX. Times vary, I was there since 7 AM, but evenings are when a lot of trains show up, like after 5 PM, so I recommend that as well. You may get lucky and see a lot of daytime trains, too, like in this video.
Love the Caboose. We called it the "cab" on the SCL.
