It's different in context, gojo wanted to provoke jogo to make him cast his domain. He was in the process of teaching yuji abt domains and how they worked. He even stated that he wants all of his students to be as strong as jogo.

This episode was packed with sooo many great moments but my favourite still remains 15:12 when I heard that "Naran" I was frozen in shock I could feel the fear of these characters through the screen ... what a great character Sukuna is!! Damn I just love this show
I really like that Toji never tells Megumi who he is because I feel like Toji doesn't feel like he has the right to just step back into his life after being gone for so long just to die in front of him. He just wants to know whether or not Megumi kept his mom's last name which always makes me tear up every time I see it. Its tragic but this is the best scenario for both Megumi and Toji.
Toji basically had turbo depression and zero faith in himself as a parent after Megumis mother passed. It's my favourite portrayal of the deadbeat anime dad. At the end he cared in a meaningful bittersweet way. He knew telling his son about his parents would only drag him down, Megumi clearly doesn't care either lol

This episode was funny. I laughed the whole time because the city was so destroyed. The strength and coolness of Papagro and Sukuna, and Jogo's tears. I was so excited to see so many of my favorite scenes. Papagro is strong at a level where he can be called a sorcerer. It is hard to believe that he is not a sorcerer. If a stranger saw him, they would definitely think he is a sorcerer. If he is a sorcerer, he is on a special level. Gojo, Okkotsu, Geto, Tsukumo, Toji... No wonder at all. Whatever the reason, I am grateful to him for defeating the special level enemy. Thanks to him, the burden on the sorcerer's side was reduced. However, it is a pity that there were sacrifices. I don't think anyone could have beaten Papagro, so maybe it was a good thing he killed himself. But it's hard because I like him. It's a shame because it would have been reassuring if he had been on our side. This is a treasure trove... Megumi too. I miss the story progressing faster than I imagined. Makora's appearance too soon... So that means we will see more of Sukuna's love for Megumi. I'm grinning. Dear MAPPA, I know you are busy, but good luck.
You can argue this was the best episode of the season. Animation was still on point, Toji/Megumi emotional scene, and getting to see Sukuna use his actual techniques.

All his friends are dead (he doesn’t like mahito so he doesn’t count) Sukuna offered to fully join his mission and work under him, why WOULDNT Jogo go for it? Yes Gojo is very arrogant because guess what HE WAS RAISED CONSTANTLY BEING TOLD HES THE STRONGEST AND NO KNE CNA BEAT HIM ever since he could talk so yes Gojo is gonna be arrogant and extremely self-centered because that’s how he was raised, even more so when he defeated Toji the strongest non-cursed energy user at the time (right now I’m fairly certain Maki holds that title) when he mastered reverse cursed technique and mastered the ability to constantly have infinity on. Sukuna himself is also very arrogant and entitled maybe even more than Gojo because he also believes he’s the strongest, does he acknowledge someone when they’re strong? Yes and so does Gojo. That one time we saw Gojo pissing off jogo is because he was in the middle of teaching Yuji and wanted to teach him about Domain Expansion, and the only way to get jogo to unleash his domain was to piss him off which was calling him weak. But when you compare the time when Gojo said he’d win against Sukuna, Yuji only had 2 of his fingers in his body so Sukuna was incredibly weak compared to when Yuji had consumed about 17 fingers, and when he had about 19 when he took over Megumi’s body. Nobody knew how soon Sukuna Would’ve been resurrected until The fingers at Jujutsu Tech in Tokyo got the fingers they had stolen by Kenjaku’s group (aka Mahito), and when they noticed those fingers had gone missing then they really started to get serious, Gojo included. Also keep in mind we’re talking about a man who has only 29 years of sorcerer experience vs someone who has over 1000 years of experience and knowledge of cursed techniques.

That one time we saw Gojo pissing off jogo is because he was in the middle of teaching Yuji and wanted to teach him about Domain Expansion, and the only way to get jogo to unleash his domain was to piss him off which was calling him weak.
But when you compare the time when Gojo said he’d win against Sukuna, Yuji only had 2 of his fingers in his body so Sukuna was incredibly weak compared to when Yuji had consumed about 17 fingers, and when he had about 19 when he took over Megumi’s body. Nobody knew how soon Sukuna Would’ve been resurrected until The fingers at Jujutsu Tech in Tokyo got the fingers they had stolen by Kenjaku’s group (aka Mahito), and when they noticed those fingers had gone missing then they really started to get serious, Gojo included.
Also keep in mind we’re talking about a man who has only 29 years of sorcerer experience vs someone who has over 1000 years of experience and knowledge of cursed techniques.
